Thursday’s walkout was the first post-September snap election general public strike against SYRIZA’s unconditional surrender to harsh Troika austerity demands, more draconian than previous ones imposed.
Perhaps in an attempt to deflect criticism and shift blame for its own public trust betrayal to Brussels and Berlin, SYRIZA’s labor policy department issued a duplicitous statement saying: “Everyone should join the strikes and rallies on November 12.”
“We are fighting for our rights in the fields of work, insurance and decent life. Say ‘no’ to austerity policies in Greece and in Europe” - despite SYRIZA Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras ignoring overwhelming anti-austerity sentiment and agreeing to impose harsher than ever measures.
Short-term strikes accomplish nothing. Greece’s two largest unions, ADEDY (public sector) and GSEE (private sector), called for a 24-hour November 12 walkout. It followed days of unrest earlier.

Britain’s Daily Mail reported it, saying this unmatched state-of-the-art system NATO calls the SA-21 ‘Growler’ was deployed at Syria’s coastal Latakia airbase.
It’s a formidable defensive system, able to strike targets up to 400 km away at altitudes up to 90,000 feet, including ballistic and cruise missiles.
It can distinguish between airborne and ground-based targets. Its sophisticated radar spots everything within its range, including tiny aircraft and stealth ones at low or high-flying altitudes.
According to an S-400 battery commander, “there is no such thing as ‘stealth’ aircraft. The system (can) see it and shoot it down.”

Years ago, I read author, screenwriter Dalton Trumbo’s 1939 classic novel “Johnny Got His Gun” - one of the most stunning ever fictional indictments of war, impossible to read his chilling account of its barbarity in human terms without being deeply affected.
Joe Bonham is the protagonist, a US WW I soldier, a war during which my father served in France, thankfully coming home in one piece, mind and body intact, no signs of what he may have seen or endured with one exception. He shunned discussing the war. I and my brother never pressed him.
Bonham awakens in a hospital after an artillery blast shattered his body beyond repair, physically and emotionally numb to what happened.
Gradually he realizes he lost both arms and legs, his face, including both eyes, ears, teeth and tongue. His mind alone functions normally. The horrors of war destroyed him - Trumbo’s polemic a heart-wrenching testimonial indictment of all wars, the highest of high crimes.

The Jerusalem Center for Israeli-Palestinian Studies exposed the Big Lie about knife-wielding Palestinian terrorists - saying 78% of security force victims were executed in cold blood.
They threatened no one. Israeli soldiers and police commit murder with impunity. So do extremist settlers. Victims include Palestinian youths, children, a pregnant woman, an elderly one and others for wanting to live free or just being in harm’s way at the wrong time. Daily assassinations continue. Pre-dawn Thursday, undercover Israeli soldiers invaded Hebron’s al-Ahli hospital. They murdered the cousin of a seriously wounded Palestinian.
Eyewitnesses said over 20 undercover soldiers, Shin Bet operatives and border police entered the hospital covertly at around 2:45AM.

SUBJECT: WHY WON'T THE NEW YORK TIMES PUBLISH OBAMA'S "DRONE PAPERS," WHICH PROVE OUR PRESIDENT IS A MURDERER WHO MUST BE REMOVED?
In June of 1971, the New York Times had the courage to initiate the publishing of Daniel Ellsburg's "Pentagon Papers." This brave action against the will of a criminal executive branch, combined with the principled decision by then-Senator Mike Gravel (AK) to release 4,100 pages of the Pentagon Papers into the Senate Record, helped spark a fight that led to the end of the criminal presidency of Richard NIxon and was instrumental in bringing the Indochina War to an end. The Papers documented that the war was being lost, not won, and that McNamara's "body count" metric was fraudulent and criminal.

INTRODUCTION
On Saturday November 7th, U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, who had started his career at the Defense Department during the Reagan Administration as an aide to then-Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger, Cold-Warring against the communist nations U.S.S.R. and China, delivered a speech saying, “We are in the middle of a strategic transition to respond to the security challenges that will define our future. … We’re responding to Russia, one source of today’s turbulence, and China’s rise, which is driving a transition in the Asia-Pacific.”
So: what has changed for him in all of that time? The weapons are more advanced; he expressed pride in that. And the former Warsaw Pact nations that were allied with the U.S.S.R. surrounding Russia, have increasingly joined NATO and become Russia’s enemies. (The U.S.S.R. terminated the Warsaw Pact, but the U.S. didn’t terminate NATO; instead, NATO with its former Warsaw Pact members increased from the 16 nations it had when the Soviet Union broke up, to the 28 nations today. And U.S. President Barack Obama and SecDef Carter want to increase that number to 29 by including Ukraine, which is on Russia’s border.)

Israel doesn’t just violate inviolable international laws. It smashes, tramples on and ignores them, writing its own rules, setting its own standards, doing whatever it pleases, consistently justifying the unjustifiable - longstanding rogue state practice.
It treats children like adults, already abducting, detaining and imprisoning them for political reasons.
America and Israel are the only two nations incarcerating young children for life without parole (LWOP). It’s a 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) signatory, mandating protection for their rights, safety and welfare - “without discrimination of any kind,” regardless of “race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national, ethnic or social origin, property, disability, birth or other status," including their "right to life…survival (and) development.”
Gilad Atzmon
The following is the first part of Gilad Atzmon’s Expert Witness Testimony at Arthur Topham’s criminal trial. This part contains a brief summary of Atzmon’s perception of the Jews and their politics. In the next part Atzmon will explain how these ideas serve to vindicate all forms of criticism of Jewish politics, ideology, symbols, rituals and so on.
Attorney Barclay Johnson: Mr Atzmon, can you please elaborate on the notion of Jewish Identity Politics.
Expert Witness Gilad Atzmon: Identity politics is a relatively new study that looks into the meaning and the means of identification of various groups. Instead of asking what is X or Y, identity politics delves into the question of what identifying as X or Y may entail. I have gone through the court case documentation and detected a considerable lack of understanding of the complexity of the terminology related to Jewish matters: identity, religion, race and politics.

Five security guards, members of the RCMP, two in bulletproof vests, all entrants pass through metal detectors, undergo a wand search, check all electronics including cell phones and have their bags meticulously scrutinized. Why all the security? The crown was presenting its criminal case against Arthur Topham, for the crime of “hate.’
The Law
Section 319 of Canada’s criminal code is an extraordinary law by most western standards. It reads, in relevant part: “(2) Every one who, by communicating statements, other than in private conversation, willfully promotes hatred against any identifiable group is guilty of
(a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or
(b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.
The statute does not define hatred, but does provide 4 statutory defenses.

Irresponsible Russia bashing can’t hide what’s increasingly clear. Putin is on the right side of history, polar opposite Obama’s imperial agenda.
America wages endless wars of aggression, masquerading as humanitarian intervention and democracy building, notions neocons infesting Washington abhor.
Might makes right dominates their thinking. Humanity destroying global war looms more possible than any previous time in history.
Russia is the world champion supporter of peace and stability, mutual cooperation among all countries, multi-world polarity, inviolability of fundamental international laws, and respect for universal sovereign independence.
In contrast, US hubris and arrogance threaten humanity’s survival. Putin’s intervention in Syria was the right initiative at the right time. Sooner would have been better.
The die was cast against the right enemy - the scourge of terrorism, ISIS its leading exponent, America its principal backer. A good v. pure evil struggle remains ongoing.
Russia’s main concern is a greater homeland terrorist threat than already. Better to fight it abroad than at home, at the same time helping Syrian forces regain the offensive, recapture lost territory, and preserve its sovereignty.
