Is this what Washington and Israel intend or another example of the rule of untended consequences of reckless actions? What's ongoing in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Palestine and Ukraine dangerously resemble events preceding WW I.
One nation after another got involved to help both sides. Things spun out-of-control.
Deadly consequences followed. Before they ended, over 20 million died. Many more were maimed for life. An entire generation of youth was lost.
If Washington challenges Russia over Ukraine militarily, Syria directly by invading, or Iran over Yemen belligerently, all bets are off. The worst of outcomes may follow.

Saudi warplanes target US intelligence-designated sites. Civilian men, women and children are considered fair game. They suffer most in all wars.
Deliberately targeting them is longstanding US policy - a shocking war crime by any standard.
Tuesday was the latest example. Reports indicate Saudi warplanes struck a populated Ma'rib area. A local source said dozens of defenseless schoolchildren were massacred in cold blood.
The exact number of dead and wounded isn't known. The source indicated massive Saudi terror-bombing killed dozens.

As I reported yesterday, the Security Bureau of Ukraine, on April 7th, had seized and disappeared two Odessa bloggers, who were trying to get an independent investigation, and ultimate prosecution, of the individuals who participated in the 2 May 2014 massacre of regime opponents, and who burned, shot, and clubbed to death perhaps over 200 in the Odessa Trade Unions Building — the event that precipitated the breakaway of Donbass from the rest of the former Ukraine, the country’s civil war.
And I also reported that April 7th saw the official announcement that, “The security service of Ukraine … has discontinued operation of a number of Internet sites that were used to perpetrate information campaigns of aggression on the part of the Russian Federation aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order and territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.”

In Odessa — the same city where the Ukrainian civil war started on 2 May 2014 with a massacre of opponents that had been carefully planned by a team connected to the U.S. White House — there are reported to be two bloggers for the “Voice of Odessa” political site who were seized by the Security Bureau of Ukraine on April 7th, and whose “whereabouts are unknown.” This report appeared in the local Odessa News.
The “Voice of Odessa” site was formed right after the massacre, in order to get an independent investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators of that massacre, in which officially 46 people were burned, shot and clubbed to death, but unofficial estimates run over 200, all victims who have not been heard from since, and some of whom had allegedly even been abducted from hospitals after the massacre.

The PLO leadership has rejected, and rightly so, the idea of joining the forces of Syrian dictator Bashar el-Assad in a joint operation to expel Islamic State (IS) fighters from the already bombed-out Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus.
"We refused to drag our people and their camps into the hellish conflict which is happening in Syria and we categorically refuse to become one of the parties involved in the armed conflict that is taking place at Yarmouk," a statement issued by the PLO in Ramallah said.
"We refuse to be drawn into military actions, whatever or wherever they are, and we call for other means to ensure the safety of lives at Yarmouk and to prevent more destruction and forced displacement."

On Saturday, the 7th annual Summit of the Americas concluded in Panama - a longtime US colony. Cuba participated for the first time since the inaugural 1994 event in Miami.
Obama met Cuba's President Raul Castro - the first meeting between a US president and Cuban leader since the 1950s. More on this below.
Obama wants Washington's regional imperial grip tightened - unchallenged like since the early 19th century.
Hugo Chavez once said "the American empire is doing all it can to consolidate its system of domination."
"(W)e cannot allow them to do that. We cannot allow world dictatorship…"

Obama is systematically raping Yemen - using Saudi-led terror-bombing to do his dirty work.
He wants Washington regaining control over its former client state. The lives and welfare of millions of Yemenis don't matter.
Israel's Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) believes "(t)he Saudi-led collective move in Yemen entails a significant advantage for Israel."
Houthi Ansarullah fighters "cannot be defeated from the air. The Saudi goal is to prevent (them) from using advanced weapons - fighter jets and surface-to-surface missiles - and keep the strategic port city of Aden from falling into their hands."
Houthis don't threaten Israel. Al Qaeda, IS and likeminded extremist groups don't have air power except when Washington supplies it.

Democrat and Republican hardliners are toughening the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (INAR) Obama opposes it. A possible veto-proof majority looms. The legislation aims to undermine consummating a final deal by giving Congress vetting power over its terms.
Israel and its Lobby want them tougher than any responsible government would accept - their way to kill an equitable deal altogether.
Congress is on board to oblige. More than 50 amendments are being considered.
On April 14, Senate Foreign Relations Committee members will begin debating them. Obama wants no congressional action until a final deal is reached by end of June.

The eyes don't have it at the moment. Healing takes time. One eye done on Thursday. Another in two weeks. The toughest part of healing is rest time needed - being unable to write normally. I'll do what I can without overdoing it.
My doctor said I can use my eyes normally online. Easy for him to say. He's a surgeon, not a writer focused on a bright screen for clearness requiring sunglasses while writing until healed. Hopefully not for too long.
Major events remain ongoing. Obama's rape of Yemen continues. He got US government military and civilian personnel out safely.
He refuses to evacuate three to four thousand stranded US citizens. They're left on their own during terror-bombing - Obama's latest war using Saudi-led regional proxies doing his dirty work.
