I generally restrict personal comments to one-on-one emails. Or discussions with friends, family and others.
This article an exception. Why not at age 80. Still working at trying to regain my full health and vigor. A daily struggle.
So much more I want to do. Feeling rushed to do all I can while I can. Taking things a day at a time. Hoping for the best. Aging isn't for sissies. For sure not getting sick.
At age 70, I discovered my passion. What I love best. In retirement. What I never could have imagined earlier. Polar opposite my formal working life.
Writing on major world and national issues. Media work as host and guest.
Explaining what readers, listeners and viewers most need to know. What directly affects their lives and welfare.
Scrupulously seeking hard truths. Telling it like it is. Criticizing media scoundrel rubbish.
Denouncing it for what it is. Burying hard truths. A propaganda bullhorn for wealth, power and privilege.
Big Lies repeated ad nauseam. On issues mattering most. On the wrong side of history.
Orwell was right. Saying in times of universal deceit, truth-telling is a revolutionary act.

A new UN Committee Against Torture report criticizes serious US civil and human rights abuses.
Including secret CIA detentions. Extraordinary renditions. Interrogation practices. Systematic use of torture.
Immigration detention abuses. Criminal injustice. America's death penalty. Police brutality. Racial profiling. Brutalizing longterm solitary confinement.
Protection of prisoners against violence. Rape and other forms of sexual abuse.
The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and other civil society groups submitted shadow reports. Highlighting concerns about Washington failure to comply with human rights treaty obligations.
Where's the accountability, victims ask? Justice remains denied. CCR's shadow report asked:
"Does the United States have a specific plan and timetable for the closure of Guantanamo? What is that plan and timetable?"

Egypt's military dictatorship holds absolute power. Has no legitimacy whatever.
Rules by decree. Controls the media. Ignores fundamental international laws, norms and standards. Its own constitutional law.
Prohibits dissent. Tolerates no opposition. Killed at least 3,000 Muslim Brotherhood members. Imprisoned tens of thousands more. Brutally tortures many. Wages war on millions of working class Egyptians. Especially youths. Justifiably angry over increasing unemployment, poverty, police state rule, corruption, and injustice.
Junta rule controls the courts. Mubarak's acquittal of mass murder charges shows Egyptian-style justice. Along with his security chief, Habib el-Adly, and six top police officials.

If a non-Jew had coined the phrase "Judeo-Nazism" he or she would have been verbally crucified by Zionism's attack dogs and the mainstream Western media. The actual inventor of it was Yeshavahu Leibowitz, one of the most outspoken and controversial Jewish intellectuals of modern times. He was once described as "the conscience of Israel." Before he died in 1994 he said "Judeo-Nazis" were on the rise in Israel. If he was alive today I imagine he would say, "They are now in control." The question awaiting an answer in the coming days and weeks is whether or not those who do Judeo-Nazism's bidding in the U.S. Congress will succeed in sabotaging the comprehensive agreement-in-the-making with Iran over its nuclear program.

Now nearly five months after the Malaysian Airlines MH17 passenger plane got shot down in Ukraine (killing all 298 onboard), Malaysians are going public with their anger about having been excluded from the investigation-team that is to write the official report on the disaster (or possibly mass-murder).
The Malaysian Insider headlined November 26th, “Why is Malaysia not part of MH17 investigation, asks group”; and, two days later, Ulson Gunnar at New Eastern Outlook and Global Research bannered, “MH17: Malaysia’s Barring from Investigation Reeks of Cover-up.”

Ukraine is an economic basket case and then some. Illegitimate US installed putschists wage naked aggression while effectively bankrupt. More on this below.
On November 28, Russia's OSCE representative Andrei Kelin stressed resolving Ukrainian crisis conditions diplomatically.
Observing Geneva and Minsk terms. Noting Ukraine's national security and defense council spokesman Andriy Lysenko calling ceasefire one of the most important Minsk protocol requirements.

Here are summaries of recent news-reports about Ukraine, in the German Economic News, or Deutsche Wirtschaft Nachrichten:
——
NATO Gives Russia No Guarantee that Ukraine’s Membership-Application Will Be Rejected
German Economic News | Published: 11/19/14 23:35 clock | 38 Comments
NATO will not guarantee Russia that Ukraine is not yet acceptable to join the military alliance. Russia is demanding such a guarantee - apparently from the bad experience that Moscow has with NATO's eastward expansion.

China and Russia Agree to Military Alliance Against U.S.
German Economic News | Published: 20/11/14 00:32 clock | 117 Comments
China and Russia have agreed to strengthen their bilateral military cooperation. In addition, joint naval exercises will be held in the future to limit US influence in the Asia-Pacific region. Critics warn of a "new Cold War.”

According to former US Attorney General Robert Jackson:
"The prosecutor has more control over life, liberty, and reputation than any other person in America. His discretion is tremendous…"
"While the prosecutor at his best is one of the most beneficent
forces in our society, when he acts from malice or other base motives, he is one of the worst."
Prosecutorial misconduct is all too common. Inadequate means of preventing and punishing wrongdoing persists. Or interest in doing so.
Trials are compromised. Wrongful convictions follow. Unfair sentences compound injustice. Disciplinary action is rare.

On Saturday, Egyptian Judge Mahmud Kamel al-Rashidi acquitted Hosni Mubarak and seven top security commanders of murdering hundreds of 2011 Taahrir Square protesters.
Sowing chaos. Creating a security vacuum. During 18 revolutionary days. In clashes with police. From January 25 - February 11, 2011.
Despite clear evidence proving guilt. Because of what he called a technicality. A lack of jurisdiction. Mubarak's lengthy public service. His "constitutional legitimacy."
"To rule for or against him after he has become old will be left to history and the Judge of Judges, the Righteous and the Justice (God), who will question him about his rule."

Doing so breaches August ceasefire terms. Not Israel's first violation. Nor its last.
It egregiously flouted all agreed on terms straightaway. Complicit PA officials remain silent. Dismissive of horrendous Gazan suffering.
Diverting half or more of October's so-called donor conference raised $5.4 billion. For unspecified budget purposes. Rife with corruption.
Giving Israel total authority over Gaza reconstruction. Controlling what enters or leaves. Palestinians have no say. Over virtually everything affecting their lives and welfare.
