Introduction
The Obama regime, in coordination with its allies and proxies, has re-launched a virulent world-wide campaign to destroy independent governments, encircle and ultimately, undermine global competitors, and establish a new US – EU centered world order.
We will proceed by identifying the recent ‘cycles’ of US empire-building; the advances and retreats; the methods and strategies; the results and perspectives. Our main focus is on the imperial dynamics driving the US toward greater military confrontations, up to and including conditions which can lead to a world war.

This winter has been harsh and merciless, with record-breaking snowstorms, floods, droughts, and other weather disasters all across the U.S. And I believe the climate scientists who say that these extreme weather conditions are an expected consequence of global climate change.
Accordingly, I blame you - yes, you, dear reader - for all the snow I've had to shovel, because of all the carbon you've pumped into the atmosphere through your own actions.
Indeed, the United States consistently ranks in last place year after year in National Geographic's Greendex survey, which measures the environmental impact of consumer habits and lifestyles in more than a dozen countries.
People in India, China, Brazil, Hungary, South Korea, Mexico, Argentina, Russia, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain, Australia, France, Japan, and Canada were judged to be more environmentally responsible than Americans. Yes, you read that right. India. China. South Korea. Mexico. Et cetera. All more proactively concerned than we Americans are about saving this planet for our children and our grandchildren.

Propaganda war on Russia rages. It exceeds the worst of Cold War bluster.
Scurrilous reporting is featured. Media scoundrels scream Russian aggression. Putin is outrageously compared to Hitler.
Hypocrisy is shameless. It's shocking. It's disgusting. Western-supported neo-Nazi putschists usurped power in Kiev.
It was the most brazen post-WW II coup. Legitimate Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was blamed for their crimes. They continue. They're ignored.
Headlines call them democrats. Incendiary conditions exist. Open conflict is threatened.

The Middle East Monitor (MEM) reported it. More on what it said below.
Fascists run Israel. Democracy is verboten. Peace is a convenient illusion. Ongoing talks are a sham. Chance for peaceful conflict resolution is ZERO.
Militarism defines Israeli policy. Belligerence enforces it. So does state-sponsored terrorism.
Human and civil rights abuses are extreme. Arabs are a target of convenience. They're considered subhuman.
They're ruthlessly persecuted. Institutionalized racism shows it. Occupied Palestinians bear the greatest cross.
They're terrorized. They're marginalized, denied, persecuted and brutalized. Multiple daily neighborhood incursions target them.

On Thursday, Israeli Lt. Col. Peter Lerner lied. He claimed Israeli naval forces intercepted an Iranian arms vessel.
It was heading for Gaza via Sudan, he said. It carried medium-range missiles, he added. So-called Klos-C surface-to-surface M302 rockets were named.
The alleged incident happened in the Red Sea 1,500 kilometers from Israel's coastline, he claimed.
"We have conclusive evidence that there were rockets on board the ship, and we have proof and can say with certainty that Iran is behind this operation," he said.
He continued claiming rockets originated from Syria. They were placed on planes at Damascus airport. They were shipped to Iran.
They were loaded aboard its cargo ship. It set sail days ago for Sudan. It diverted north to Iraq. Rockets were covered with cement bags to disguise them. The vessel continued en route to Sudan.

War of words continues. Washington played the sanctions card. Obama acted unilaterally. He did so by executive order.
He targeted "individuals and entities responsible for activities undermining democratic processes or institutions in Ukraine."
It includes what he calls "military intervention in Crimea." His action doesn't preclude further steps. Expect more to follow.
Hardball is longstanding US policy. Bullying is standard practice. Rule of law principles don't matter. They're discarded, ignored, forgotten and disobeyed.
Washington rules alone apply. Plans call for advancing America's imperium. Unchallenged global dominance is sought. Possible global war threatens.

Sham Israeli/Palestinian peace talks continue. They began last July. They're supposed to conclude in April.
Palestine's elected government wasn't invited. It's excluded from talks. Longtime Israeli collaborators represent Palestinians. They do so illegitimately.
Chance to resolve longstanding conflict is ZERO. Kerry's so-called framework agreement is totally one-sided.
It solely favors Israel. It gives Palestinians nothing. It assures continued occupation harshness.
No legitimate Palestinian leader would accept what demands rejection. Reports from Washington, Tel Aviv and Ramallah say talks so far went nowhere.
What happens going forward remains to be seen. Israel deplores peace. It thrives on conflict and instability. Its enemies are ones it invents.
In 2013, Israeli warplanes bombed Syria at least six times. On February 24, they struck Hezbollah targets. They did so along Lebanon's border with Syria.

It bears repeating what other articles stressed. Putin supports peace and stability. Obama wages one war after another.
Putin affirms UN Charter and other rule of law principles. Obama ignores them. He claims a divine right to achieve unchallenged hegemony. He does it belligerently.
Putin believes nation-state sovereignty is inviolable. Obama wants pro-Western puppet governments replacing independent ones.
The Russian Public Opinion Research Center (WCIOM) is the leading post-Soviet opinion research company.
It's late February poll showed Putin's approval rating at a two-year high. Nearly 68% of Russians approve his policies.

With all the coverage of Liz Wahl's resignation from RT and Abby Martin's comments (2 ) on why she condemned Russia's actions in Crimea, thought I would just remind everyone that Phil Donahue, "an American media personality, writer, and film producer best known as the creator and host of The Phil Donahue Show", a show that had a "29-year run on national television in America", a person who was "ranked #42 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time". a person that Oprah Winfrey credits for giving birth to her show, stating that "if it weren't for Phil Donahue, there never would have been an Oprah Show!", was fired from MSNBC for opposing the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, "even though his show was a highly rated one on the network."
I believe Chris Hedges put it best in an article entitled, "The Day That TV News Died":

Is anybody listening?
President Barack Obama appears to be at some distance from reality. He's issuing statements about the Ukrainian situation as though he were the maximum leader of a vast empire that includes just about everywhere except Russia and China.
The scope of the president's edicts is remarkable considering the lack of public support, even interest, in using the influence of the United States in this conflict. In addition, the Obama threats and actions are riddled with inconsistencies.
