On September 1, dozens of predator states met in Paris to pick apart Libya's bones even though it's breathing, if barely.
We've seen it before, notably in Iraq under Paul Bremer's 100 orders that turned the country into a cutthroat capitalist laboratory. Baghdad was open for business at fire sale prices with US and other Western firms having first dibs on everything.
The "cradle of civilization" became Iraq, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of corporate predators. The Iraq that was no longer exists.

On May 31, 2010, Israeli commandos willfully and maliciously interdicted Freedom Flotilla vessels in international waters, bringing humanitarian aid to besieged Gazans.
In the process, they slaughtered nine Turkish nationals aboard the mother Mavi Marmara ship, wounding dozens more, and arresting everyone on board.
A same day article described what happened as known at the time, accessed through the following link:
http://sjlendman.blogspot.com/2010/05/brave-israeli-commandos-slaughter-aid.html
It was a well planned premeditated attack against unarmed, nonviolent humanitarian activists, trying to break Israel's illegal blockade to deliver essential aid. Cold-blooded murder resulted.

In recent years, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) increasingly warned about infringements of democratic freedoms in Israel.
Major concerns involve undermining free expression, human dignity, equality, pluralism, freedom of assembly and right to protest, and whether certain positions can be declared illegitimate, despite the democratic right of anyone to profess them.

In his latest article, Paul Craig Roberts calls America "utterly corrupt" and "certainly no 'light unto the world.' "
In her latest article, Diana Johnstone said "Western 'democracy' is in danger of being gradually reduced to a mere ideological excuse to attack, ravage and pillage other people's countries."
It's official policy, in fact, because the business of America is war, permanent war against humanity by military, financial, political and other means.

ALL POINTS BULLETIN RE: IAN R. CRANE
The Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference, an 11 month-old International Citizens’ Initiative, is filing criminal charges in Tallahassee, FL against Ian Crane, a former Schlumberger oil executive. The GOSRC has forwarded the original email to authorities in which Crane admitted to taping the former National Coordinator without his knowledge or consent. Crane’s subsequent suspicious actions and dubious correspondence concerning the Gulf Oil Spill have caused many throughout the GOM citizen’s movement to question his motives and agenda, and therefore compel us to file these charges.
Ian Crane currently poses as an advocate of sorts whereby he often places the full responsibility of the BP Gulf Oil Spill at the feet of BP’s Robert Kaluza. Crane’s former employer, Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company that worked on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico, “says its crew left the Horizon on the day of the fire”. As an ex-oilman, Crane has adopted a pattern of behavior in which many sincere Gulf advocates, who do not wholeheartedly join his cause, have become subjected to completely untrue and unwarranted derogatory statements, as well as a continuing barrage of ad hominem attacks.
By several accounts Ian Crane has teamed up with an internet writer, Deborah Dupre, who has likewise used her writing platform to vilify and persecute some of the most courageous heroes of the Gulf Oil Spill. Dupre writes for Examiner.com which began a partnership with Thomson Reuters in the City of London, England. Reuters corporate headquarters is located approximately one tenth of a mile from BP corporate headquarters in London. Crane’s media outlet is located in Devon, England.

No Nothing is what it seems in the BP’s Mega Oil Spill disaster.
Perhaps it was the 14 Jan political overthrow of authoritarian president Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali who ruled Tunisia with an iron fist for the last 23 years and the ensuing popular uprising in the Middle East uprising against tyranny, misrule, corruption and highhandedness. Even the world’s 10th largest military could not suppress the civilian uprising which has until today lasted 17 days. President Hosni Mubarak who had a tight control of the Egyptian armed forces is expected to step down any time soon. (He stepped down 2 days after this article was written).

I have a habit of rescuing old used books from garage sales, used book stores and library book sales, books that are at risk of being tossed into the flames or shredders because they haven’t been read or checked out of the library for decades. It is a sad commentary on our high-tech society that classic, out-of-print books that contain the accurate history and wisdom of the ages are crowded off library shelves by pulp novels, comic books, fantasy novels, romance novels and Kindles (which, by the way, will never get around to publishing even a tiny fraction of the books that I have rescued from oblivion).
In one of those old, not-yet-musty books that I purchased from a church library sale years ago, I found a paragraph about prophets that resonated with me. The passage concisely articulates a powerful truth that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere else.
The book that contained the quote was titled “Religion in the Struggle for Power”. It was authored by J. Milton Yinger, PhD, a professor of sociology. It had been published by Duke University Press soon after World War II, and was a study of the sociology of religion. I bought the book mainly because it contained a chapter entitled “The Churches and War”.

Who are the Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors?
The following story is the product of months of intensive investigation regarding a group of individuals who call themselves the Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors (GCBD). They are led by one Delia LaBarre of NOLA and jointly founded with her sister, Deborah Dupre(a former board member of the GCBD*), who is originally from Louisiana and up until recently living in Hawaii. As unbelievable as this report may sound, the facts and incidents contained herein have been confirmed and validated by many ex-members of the GCBD. This expose is meant to provide a warning to any and all who might betemptedto join this extremely dubious and destructive enterprise. At best the GCBD represents an intention to help the beleaguered residents of the Louisiana Gulf Coast. However this initiative has devolved into something far from that original design. And, it is the leaders who must be held directly responsible for this turn for the worse.
Deborah Dupre is acknowledged by many to be a disgrace to her “profession” which appears to be an internet reporter. In this capacity many have labeled her a menace to society. Delia LaBarre is literally a barefoot doctor with no formal medical training or background who has no proper hygiene process/procedures in place for the way she dispenses her nutraceutical medications and various health products. Some real barefoot doctors, who have been in her home and witnessed the handling of open containers of various ingestible healthproducts, were shocked at the lack of cleanliness and proper procedures necessary to keep the contents sterile and free of contamination. Clearly, the entire amateur operation known as the Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors was in blatant violation ofthe relevant LA Public Health codes and regulations.

‘Journalists’ Ian Crane & Deborah Dupre destroy Gulf citizens’ movement
Just who is Ian R. Crane and why does he, together with the Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors, persist in destroying the Gulf Oil Spill citizens’ movement? Why does a Britisher suddenly appear on the scene of the greatest environmental catastrophe in US history hawking his wares and conspiracies?
After many months of investigation of this British citizen – Ian R. Crane – we can report the following facts about his business, his mission and his “journalistic” practice where it concerns the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM).
It is very important to note that this foreign ‘journalist’ lives in the United Kingdom not too far from London, admits to being an ex-Shlumberger oilman, and makes his money from selling internet conspiracy theory (which may be true or false) about the Gulf oil spill. The point is that this is how he earns his income, by selling videos that purport to explain away all things related to the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill.

This observers tentative appraisal of Tuesdays events along the North Tripoli Port area as of late afternoon 8/23/11 is that the “65,000 well trained and well-armed troops” hyped Sunday by the Gaddafi government don’t in fact exist and that the pockets of government troops here in Tripoli and across Libya that do, will continue to resist what it views as NATO aggression designed to usurp the country’s oil and add Libya to Africom. NATO is widely viewed as having violated the three main terms of UNSCR 1973, to wit, NATO did engage in regime change, it did take sides in a civil war, it did arm one side, and it did refuse to allow a negotiated diplomatic settlement which many here and internationally believe could have been achieved by early April, thus saving hundreds Libyan lives. NATO’s more than 160 days of bombing are seen as egregious violations of UNSCR 1973, Article 2 (7) of the UN Charter and numerous provisions of international law, all part of its campaign to secure Libyan oil and this rich countries geopolitical cooperation for the US, UK, France, Italy and their NATO allies.
