President Joe Biden’s administration has accused the Big Tech giant of abusing its dominance of the online advertising business | Google has used “anti-competitive, exclusionary” practices to illegally crush or diminish any major threats to its dominance over the online advertising industry, President Joe Biden’s administration has alleged in a lawsuit against the company. ● The US Department of Justice (DOJ) filed its antitrust lawsuit against Google on Tuesday in US District Court in Alexandria, Virginia, calling for the company to be forced to sell off parts of its advertising business. Advertising accounts for about 80% of the Big Tech behemoth’s revenue. ● Eight states, including Google’s home state of California, joined the federal government in Tuesday’s lawsuit. “We are taking action by filing this lawsuit to unwind Google’s monopoly and restore competition to the digital advertising business,” Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said.

A lawyer for Mike Pence has reported the discovery of secret papers in the former vice president’s Indiana home | A lawyer representing Pence, Greg Jacob, last week reported to the National Archives and Records Administration that a “small number” of papers with classified markings were discovered at the ex-VP’s home in Indiana. Jacob wrote in a letter to the agency that the find was made during a search by a legal firm that Pence hired in the wake of this month’s scandal over Biden’s handling of state secrets. CNN, which obtained a copy of the letter, first reported the news on Tuesday.

An unsecured server discovered by a security researcher last week contained the identities of hundreds of thousands of individuals from the U.S. government’s Terrorist Screening Database and “No Fly List.” | Located by the Swiss hacker known as maia arson crimew, the server, run by the U.S. national airline CommuteAir, was left exposed on the public internet. It revealed a vast amount of company data, including private information on almost 1,000 CommuteAir employees. Analysis of the server resulted in the discovery of a text file named “NoFly.csv,” a reference to the subset of individuals in the Terrorist Screening Database who have been barred from air travel due to having suspected or known ties to terrorist organizations. The list, according to crimew, appeared to have more than 1.5 million entries in total. The data included names as well as birth dates. It also included multiple aliases, placing the number of unique individuals at far less than 1.5 million.

As Barack Obama returned to the White House now occupied by his former vice president, even the mainstream media couldn’t ignore the tension between the two men. Once touted as an enviable bromance, it is now clear the two men’s relationship is one of raw power and political one-upmanship. | Now that Biden sits in the Oval Office, Obama seems almost ashamed that the gaffe prone octogenarian has a political connection to him. He could hardly hide his disdain for his former VP during his September visit to the White House to unveil his and Michelle’s official portraits or during an April visit on the anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. “Obama Reminds Biden Who’s Boss,” a New York magazine headline read. ● Obama is far more adored in his own party than the current president. When visiting the White House in April, Obama received a hero’s welcome from high-ranking Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and other White House staffers. Obama even jokingly referred to Biden as his “vice president” at the start of his speech. The comment, which Obama assured Biden was a joke, irked some of Biden’s aides, who heard it as yet another example of Obama’s sense of superiority over the president, Politico reported.

Jourová, the European Commission's Vice President for Values and Transparency, told Euronews Next that Twitter may face penalties for enabling free speech in violation of European Union regulations. "The time of the Wild West is over," she said. "We will have the Digital Services Act [DSA]. We will have the Code of Practice as a part of this legislation," Jourová said. "So, after Mr. Musk took over Twitter with his 'freedom of speech absolutism' - we are the protectors of freedom of speech as well. But at the same time, we cannot accept, for instance, illegal content online and so on. So, our message was clear: we have rules which have to be complied with, otherwise there will be sanctions." [Jourová: No. And if you're on your fourth booster, it's likely that its your era that will soon be over.] Jourová also recounted that in previous years, European politicians and big tech companies had "gentlemen’s agreements" and other ways of negotiating aside from legislation.

Several Democrat-led states introduced similar measures in effort to tax rich even more | California lawmakers are pushing legislation that would impose a new tax on the state's wealthiest residents — even if they've already moved to another part of the country. Assemblyman Alex Lee, a progressive Democrat, last week introduced a bill in the California State Legislature that would impose an extra annual 1.5% tax on those with a "worldwide net worth" above $1 billion, starting as early as January 2024. Worldwide wealth extends beyond annual income to include diverse holdings such as farm assets, arts and other collectibles, and stocks and hedge fund interest.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson called Antifa “the armed instrument” of the “permanent Democratic establishment” Monday, citing the weekend riots in Atlanta where police made multiple arrests. | 💬 “What happened to Antifa? Ever wonder that? The shadowy, heavily-armed left-wing militia group, the guys dressed like stormtroopers in black masks. You remember them, of course, well from the summer of 2020. They burned our cities that year, churches and police stations and courthouses,” Carlson, an honorary member of the Daily Caller News Foundation’s board, said. “Now the point of the violence, the extensive violence and the killings they committed was to defeat Donald Trump and make the country so chaotic that voters would want to change, and they were effective. They were so effective that Kamala Harris herself raised money to bail them out of jail.”

As science and math education increasingly yields ground to fringe progressive critiques of the disciplines, professors who stray from the new orthodoxy or simply object to the politicization of their fields are finding it harder to speak out. | This month's Joint Mathematics Meetings in Boston, the self-proclaimed "largest mathematics gathering in the world," invited Vanderbilt University's Luis Antonio Leyva to share his research on "re-imagining" the "white, cisheteropatriarchal space" of undergraduate math education by deploying "structural disruptions that advance justice" for nonwhite queer and transgender STEM majors. [Oh, America! It has come to this.]
At the Saturday memorial for her sister Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway, Silk told the crowd of supporters, including President Trump, that the vaccine may have been a factor in her sister’s sudden death. Silk then called for an investigation. “There’s something going on!” 💬 So what I want to say to everybody is don’t you dare call me a conspiracy theorist. Because I saw it happen. I saw how it happened. I was there when it happened and it happened suddenly. I want America to wake up and pay attention. Something ain’t right. It’s time to investigate what’s really going on here! And get some answers to why our people are falling dead suddenly. Silk then went on to say, “Instead of asking if Americans are vaxxed or unvaxxed the real question is are they being poisoned.”
Harris required people to sign 'attestation of vaccination' paper to attend her Florida 'speech' | Kamala Harris required all attendees of her event on Sunday in Tallahassee, Florida, to sign a form confirming whether they have been vaccinated or not, according to reports. The requirement is a counter-approach to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis's claims that the vaccine is being used as a weapon. The governor plans to propose protections for residents, such as a ban on vaccine and mask requirements, during the next legislative session. The form was titled "Attestation of Vaccination," and it required guest to indicate whether they are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or vaccinated. The Republican National Committee Research Twitter handle @RNCResearch tweeted about the form on Sunday. "Kamala Harris made people sign an 'attestation of vaccination' to attend her incoherent speech in Florida today," the tweet read. Followers of the page had mixed responses, with some agreeing for the necessity of the form, and many others mocking the requirement on the basis that vaccines do not stop transmission.

Stewart, who served time in federal prison for multiple crimes stemming from an insider trading case, took part in a 2011 photo op with Michelle Obama and Jill Biden. Unsurprisingly, Stewart’s Pfizer commercial does not mention the Stew Peters documentary Died Suddenly, which presents evidence of deadly consequences for jabbed people.

A New Right-Left Coalition to Oppose the War | On February 19, Washington, DC, will witness a protest against the war in Ukraine that marks a sharp departure from past demonstrations. The lead demand is simple and direct, "Not One More Penny for war in Ukraine." It is a demand that emphasizes what we in the US can do to end the war, not what others can do. After all, the only government we have the power to influence is our own. ● Above and beyond that demand, the potential power of this unique and promising movement arises from the nature of the sponsoring organizations – The Peoples Party, a progressive new Party, and the Libertarian Party. It is in fact what much of the press would term a "right-left" Coalition, spanning a spectrum broad enough to actually bring the proxy war in Ukraine to an end. Fittingly, the organizers are calling the protest "Rage Against the War Machine." With the war in Ukraine putting us the precipice of nuclear Armageddon, "rage" might be considered a mild reaction.

Online gaming perfectionists debating the precise modeling of their preferred weaponry have inadvertently exposed military secrets on the internet yet again, this time posting sensitive information about the US-built F-16 and F-15 fighter jets on two separate occasions in just one week. | The game in question is ‘War Thunder’, players of which had previously spilled some potentially classified beans on the British Challenger-2 battle tank, France’s Leclerc tank, and Chinese DTC10-125 anti-armor shells, among others. The latest disclosures concerned the F-16 Fighting Falcon, built by US defense contractor General Dynamics, and the McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle. Like the other leaks, this one came on a discussion forum for War Thunder, where players of the realistic online game often nitpick over the accuracy of their pretend military hardware, PC Gamer reported. In an F-16 discussion that had been dragging on since mid-2022, one of the players wrote on January 16 about an “interesting thing I found during my research.”
Far-left protesters rioted in downtown Atlanta on Saturday evening, lighting a police car on fire and breaking business windows. | The protest reportedly began as a “mostly peaceful” demonstration in response to the death of 26-year-old activist Manuel Teran, who was killed during a police sweep on Wedneday “in what the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said was an exchange of gunfire with police that wounded a state trooper,” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC). The trooper remains unidentified and is reportedly in stable condition after being taken to a hospital for surgery. Prior to the rioting, protesters chanted, “No justice, no peace, no killer police” and “Stop cop city,” which refers to the name of the Atlanta police training site.

The Great Replacement is real | Neoconservative pundit Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire shilled for the bipartisan Uniparty movement to replace White people in America through mass migration, echoing the ideology of Jewish identitarian groups like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Shapiro tweeted a racially-charged, anti-White message on June 16, 2017, during the first year of the Donald Trump presidency. Shapiro tweeted, “And by the way, I don’t give a good damn about the so-called ‘browning of America.’ Color doesn’t matter. Ideology does.”

Dazed and abused by high taxes and rising crime, more New Yorkers fled to Florida in 2022 than any year in history, according to new data. | A staggering 64,577 Empire Staters exchanged their driver’s licenses for the Sunshine State version last year, according to figures from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. “They come in every day,” a staffer at a Jacksonville DMV office told The Post this week with a weary laugh. “I hear all the complaints. I feel like a therapist sometimes.” The worker said the venting refugees harbor a long list of grievances — with taxes and eroding quality of life at the top of the list. “It’s slowed down a little bit,” she said of the stampede. “But not by a whole lot, I can tell you that.” Last year’s record-shattering number comfortably eclipsed the prior mark of 61,728 New Yorkers who made the Florida switch in 2021.
Cubans and Nicaraguans accounted for 77,043 of those encounters, roughly 36 percent of the total. | uthorities encountered 216,162 migrants at the southwest land border in December of last year, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. That figures marks an 11 percent increase in unique encounters from November of the same year. The federal agency attributed the surge to influx of Cuban and Nicaraguan individuals fleeing authoritarian regimes in those countries. ● The Biden administration has been under intense scrutiny over its handling of migration at the Mexican border. More than 2.4 million migrants entered the U.S. in fiscal year 2022 alone and nearly 4 million have done so since President Joe Biden took office in 2021.
The teen who ran over a mother and baby in 2021 in Venice, California, was fatally shot recently in Palmdale. | Last year, 17-year-old Kristopher Baca pleaded guilty in the case, Fox News reported Friday. The outlet said officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office confirmed his death. “Deputies found him dead with gunshot wounds in a Palmdale driveway on the 83600 block of 11th Street East on Wednesday evening, according to the sheriff’s office,” the report continued. The young man was apparently walking home from a restaurant when a car approached. An argument ensued, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire before the car fled the scene. Meanwhile, the mother in the initial case has since moved out of Los Angeles to escape the soft-on-crime policies that have made the area dangerous. Video footage of the 2021 hit-and-run incident shows the woman pushing a stroller down a street. Moments later, she slows down and pulls the stroller close to a wall. When the car approaches, the woman tries to lift the stroller out of the way. The car rammed into her, knocking her to the ground, and also caused the stroller to land on its side.
