The American whistleblower has now become a full-fledged Russian citizen, his lawyer says. Former CIA and National Security Agency (NSA) officer Edward Snowden has received his Russian passport after having been granted Russian citizenship by President Vladimir Putin earlier this year. ● According to Snowden’s lawyer, Anatoly Kucherena, who spoke with Interfax on Friday, the whistleblower has also taken an oath mandated by law in order to become a full-fledged Russian citizen. ● Kucherena noted that since Snowden now holds a Russian passport, he cannot be legally extradited to any foreign state seeking charges against him, i.e. the USA, where he stands accused of espionage and theft of state property. ● In 2013, Snowden leaked a massive trove of classified documents revealing the NSA’s sprawling surveillance operations, which targeted American civilians and collected their electronic communication data and phone records. His revelations launched nation-wide debates about government surveillance and led the US appeals court to declare the NSA’s program unlawful. ● When the leaked files were posted in a number of media outlets, Washington promptly revoked Snowden’s US citizenship, making him a de facto stateless individual.

NASAMS batteries could be taken from the Middle East, the American arms manufacturer says | The US is working to move some National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) batteries from Middle Eastern countries to Ukraine, Raytheon Technologies CEO Greg Hayes has said. The Virginia-based arms manufacturer developed the weapons in collaboration with Norway’s Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. 💬 “There are NASAMS deployed across the Middle East, and some of our NATO allies and we [the US] are actually working with a couple of Middle Eastern countries that currently employ NASAMS and trying to direct those back up to Ukraine,” Hayes told Politico magazine on Thursday, adding that redeploying existing weapons would be faster than manufacturing new ones. “Just because it takes 24 months to build, it doesn’t mean it’s going to take 24 months to get [to the] country,” he said. He added that the goal is to send NASAMS to Ukraine in the next three to six months, with the US backfilling for the weapon in the Middle East over the next two years.

Speaking at an event hosted by the New York Times on Wednesday, Yellen claimed she “misspoke” when she said there was “no basis” to investigate Musk or his finances during an interview earlier this month, now clarifying that the government could take that step after all.
💬 “I’m not going to say specifically what we are looking at. We don’t comment on what’s in progress,” she said, but added the Treasury “does look at transactions that involve foreign investments in the United States to see if they create national security risk.” While she stopped short of confirming that a probe was underway, Yellen said: “if there are such risks it would be appropriate for the Treasury to have a look.” ● Musk has faced pressure from abroad as well, with the European Commission recently threatening to ban Twitter outright should the platform run afoul of the EU’s digital regulations. According to a Wednesday report in the Financial Times, the bloc has presented Musk with a “checklist of rules” and demanded he submit to an “extensive independent audit” sometime next year, insisting Twitter must continue to “aggressively” police disinformation and hate speech.

It’s a trend which has unfortunately been increasing over the past two years, and it is showing no sings of slowing down. In fact, official Government figures published by just 38 countries, including the USA, the UK, Australia, and most of Europe. show that there are at least three-quarters of a million people who have died suddenly in 2022 alone. | No, we’re not making this up. Just 20% of the countries in the entire world have recorded 0.75 million excess deaths so far this year. And there is one thing all these countries have in common. They all coerced millions of their citizens into getting the Covid-19 injection. Why is that significant? It’s significant because official government reports prove that Covid-19 vaccination increases the risk of death. We know this because the unvaccinated population in the UK have the lowest mortality rates per 100,000 population in every single age group. Even children. This probably explains why Europe has recorded a 552% increase in children who have “died suddenly” ever since the European Medicines Agency (EMA) decided they should be offered and coerced into getting the Covid-19 vaccine. But don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at the figures taken from all the official Government reports yourselves…

As the relevance of SARS-2 recedes ever further, public health managers seek to apply the same risk magnification, testing, vaccination and hygiene regime to the flu. | Two weeks ago, NBC News posted a long and disturbing article about “What Covid taught scientists and the public about the flu.” It’s basically as bad as you can imagine. It taught them that “Flu transmission can be stopped” and thus that “Nonpharmaceutical interventions work,” that “Flu can spread via aerosols,” that “‘Long flu’ may be a risk,” that “Asymptomatic flu infections may be underappreciated” and that “People want to test – and they’re good at it.” In short, scientists have learned that if an excess of hygiene hysteria can be stirred up over one unremarkable virus, it can be stirred up over another, and there’s every reason to hope for a new pandemic party in the near future.

Most Americans Dying of COVID Were Vaccinated | A recent analysis done by Cynthia Cox of the Kaiser Family Foundation for The Health 202 newsletter of The Washington Post found that approximately 58 percent of the people who died of COVID-19 in the United States in August 2022 had been vaccinated or vaccinated and boosted for COVID. Earlier this year, it was estimated that 42 percent of deaths attributed to COVID were among vaccinated or vaccinated and boosted individuals. This "troubling trend" is something that has been developing during the past year, according to an article published in the Post on Nov. 23, 2022. "As vaccination rates have increased and new variants appeared, the share of deaths of people who were vaccinated has been steadily rising," wrote Post health researcher McKenzie Beard.
The U.S. Senate passed a bill on Tuesday that would protect federal recognition of same-sex marriage, a measure taken up in response to worries the Supreme Court could overturn a 2015 decision that legalized it nationwide. | The narrowly tailored bill, which would require the federal government to recognize a marriage if it was legal in the state in which it was performed, is meant to be a backstop if the Supreme Court acted against same-sex marriage. It would not bar states from blocking same-sex or interracial marriages if the Supreme Court allowed them to do so. [...] The bill was passed 61 to 36, with 60 votes needed for passage. Twelve Republicans joined 49 Democrats in supporting the bill. One Democrat, Georgia's Raphael Warnock, was absent, as were two Republican senators. ● A similar, but not identical, bill passed the House of Representatives earlier this year with support from 47 Republicans and all Democrats. The House would need to approve the Senate version before it is sent to President Joe Biden to sign into law.
Joe Biden's rented Secret Service vehicles burst into flames in a parking lot Monday, just one day after he left his Nantucket vacation. | Biden spent Thanksgiving on the ritzy Massachusetts island with his family last week. The Secret Service rented five vehicles from Hertz to carry the president [sic] and his family, and all five of them caught fire in the parking lot, according to footage first obtained by the Nantucket Current. Footage shows firefighters spraying down the smoldering remains of one vehicle's engine block. The five vehicles included a Chevy Suburban, Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX80, Ford Expedition, and a Jeep Gladiator. The vehicles were parked at the Nantucket airport and the blaze reportedly spread to just 40 feet away from the facility's jet fuel tanks. It is currently unknown what caused the fire.
This is an easy conversation opener that normalizes vaccination, and doesn't place blame. Doesn't matter that there's literally no data to show that it stopped hospitalizations or stopped you from dying and certainly didn't stop transmission did it? VIDEO
The fossil was originally discovered a few years ago in Montana, with researchers being forced to extract it from underneath a layer of solid rock. | Fossilized remains of a dinosaur that might have been related to the infamous Tyrannosaurus rex have been identified by researchers. Fossil fragments of what once was the dinosaur in question, Daspletosaurus wilsoni (named after the man who discovered the holotype specimen, John Wilson), were originally discovered in the US state of Montana, at the Judith River Formation from a site discovered in 2017. Having managed to extract the fragments from underneath solid rock, paleontologists in the US now postulate that this dinosaur existed over 76 million years ago and belonged to the family Tyrannosauridae – the family that includes Tyrannosaurus rex.

Senator Rand Paul reacted Monday to news that the Biden administration is struggling to account for some $20 billion in aid that was sent to Ukraine, noting that both political parties ignored his call for an inspector general to overlook it. | A report from Fox News, linked in a tweet by Paul, notes that according to there Washington Post, the Biden administration inspected only 10% of 22,000 weapons the U.S. has provided to Ukraine between February and November. ● It also outlines how Republicans could push for audits to determine where all the military aid is going and how much of it is ending up in the wrong hand. 💬 “Didn’t someone try to legislatively mandate a special inspector general to scrutinize Ukrainian spending?” Paul urged, adding “Oh, that’s right, it was my amendment and most Democrats AND Republicans opposed any semblance of oversight.”

USS Chancellorsville was “trespassing” in its waters in the South China Sea, Beijing claims | China's military has said that its forces have “followed and warned away” the American guided-missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville after it approached the Nansha [also called the Spratly] Islands in the South China Sea early on Tuesday. ● The arrival without prior Chinese authorization of the US warship near the islands, which Beijing considers to be part of its territory, was a “serious violation of China’s sovereignty and security,” the country's military spokesman Tian Junli declared. ● The move was further proof that Washington is working towards “militarization of the South China Sea,” Tian said, adding that the US was a “provocateur against peace” in the region. ● The spokesman reiterated the Chinese military’s commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty and to upholding stability in the South China Sea.
