All of our local and state services are still fully available and we will be just fine without the feds. | I am receiving numerous reports from inside Defense Department contractors indicating management and senior executives have been told their government liaisons "will be unavailable as of Monday" which they are taking to mean there WILL be a US Government shut down as of tomorrow, September 30. Within the US House of Representatives, there is clearly a full impasse over the Budget and it does not appear they will overcome this impasse. For my part, I grabbed some money out of the bank, just in case.
