The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is one of 52 Conference of Major American Jewish Organization (CPMAJO) Zionist groups.
It mocks legitimacy. It supports wrong over right. It disseminates Israeli propaganda. It promotes Jewish exceptionalism.
It smears Israeli critics. It outrageously calls them anti-Semites.
It's racist. It's demagogic. It's Islamophobic. Its hate-mongering is notorious. Its entire history is deplorable.
Bush is an unindicted war criminal. He represents the worst of America's dark side. He's pure evil writ large. More on his true legacy below.
On February 7, ADL gave him its highest honor. It's called the America's Democratic Legacy Award. It cited "his inspirational leadership in promoting democratic values worldwide."
It commended his policies following "terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001." It ignored his administration's responsibility for committing them.
It turned a blind eye to multiple imperial wars that followed. One country after another was ravaged and destroyed. Wherever America shows up, mass slaughter and destruction follow.
Bush waged war on Islam. He did so for over seven years. Millions died. Many more suffer horrifically.
Conflicts still rage out-of-control. ADL honored state-terrorism writ large. It lied about Bush's commitment for peace.
Abe Foxman is ADL national director. He defends the indefensible. He thanked Bush for supporting Israel.
He claimed he "led a united American people through the trauma of an attack that in one day redefined our sense of security and our domestic and foreign policy."
From October 7, 2001 through January 20, 2009 Bush waged premeditated lawless aggression. It rages in multiple theaters. Not according to Foxman, claiming:
"When you were called on to respond to unspeakable terror, hate and violence, you refused to let America give into stereotypes."
"You answered calls for anti-Muslim revenge with calls for respect and understanding." Bush was militantly Islamophobic. He waged war on Islam.
Throughout his political career, he served America's monied interests. He consistently spurned populist ones.
Ralph Nader once called him "a corporation (serving as) president masquerading as a human being." He turned "a metaphor into reality."
Like corporations, he expressed "no remorse, no shame, no compassion, and a resistance to admit anything other than (he did) nothing wrong."
Millions of Afghan and Iraqi corpses attest otherwise. So does ravaging and destroying their countries.
Bush crimes began as Texas governor. In his book titled "The Dirty Truth: The Oil and Chemical Dependency of George W. Bush," Rick Abraham documented his deplorable tenure.
His environmental record alone revealed it. "(H)e championed the agenda of the state's biggest and worst corporate polluters," said former Texas Department of Agriculture commissioner Jim Hightower.
He sold out millions of Texans. He was well-rewarded for services rendered. Corporate contributors jump-started his presidential bid.
In return, he supported dumping radioactive waste in Texas land dumps. He lied claiming it was mostly medical waste.
He sought nuclear power waste from other states. He corrupted the state's environmental standards. He did so to accommodate polluters.
He operated secretly. He usurped control over state municipalities. He was more pro-business, anti-populist, anti-human and civil rights than any of his predecessors. He remained so as president.
As Texas governor, he authorized more executions than any predecessor in state history. His aides called him a man who enjoys killing.
His two presidential electoral bids were rigged. He lost both times. It didn't matter. He was anointed head of state twice. He took full advantage.
Monied interests benefitted enormously. So did war profiteers. He entered office with an approval rating around 50%.
It hit a temporary post-9/11 90% high. He left office with about 25% public support. Some polls showed him lower. Why anyone supported him they'll have to explain.
Bush doctrine reflected unilateral lawlessness. It included preemptive imperial wars, institutionalized state terrorism, torture made official policy, America turned into a police state, and popular needs ignored.
His 2001 Nuclear Policy Review asserted a unilateral right to wage preemptive wars. With nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states, it said.
His 2002 and 2006 National Security Strategy usurped the same unilateral rights. He defended the indefensible. He militarized America more than ever.
He lied saying "(w)e may face no greater challenge from a single country than Iran."
In December 2008, he spoke at West Point. He defended lawless aggression. He boasted about "reshap(ing) (America's) approach to national security."
He abandoned agreed on treaties. He rescinded the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention. He did so to develop biowarfare weapons illegally.
He renounced the 1989 Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act. It prohibits the development, production, and stockpiling of bacteriological and toxic weapons.
He established a homeland police state apparatus. He called Patriot Act legislation and other repressive laws "new tools" to combat terrorism.
They include wars on humanity, torture, extraordinary rendition, global gulag prisons, guilt by accusation, institutionalized spying, and America turned into an international pariah state.
He claimed credit for liberating millions of Afghans and Iraqis. He ignored millions of deaths on his watch.
Victims perished from violence, disease, horrific pain and suffering, homelessness, exposure during extreme cold, starvation and overall deprivation.
He was unapologetic. He expressed no regrets. He claimed he made America much safer. It less safe than ever now.
"In the years ahead," he added, "our nation must continue developing the capabilities to take the fight to our enemies around the world. We must stay on the offensive."
It bears repeating what previous articles explained many times. America's only enemies are ones it invents.
It does so to wage phony war on terror. It's waged on humanity. It rages at home and abroad.
Media scoundrels lauded his presidency. Post-9/11, New York Times editors praised his "new gravitas."
They called him "confident" and "determined." He shows "statesmanship," they said. They called him "a leader whom the nation could follow in (troubled) times."
He was born into wealth and power. His family dynasty goes back over four generations.
It's connected to America's military-industrial complex. George H. Walker and Samuel Prescott Bush were its founding fathers. They created a criminal enterprise.
Walker was a St. Louis financier. SP Bush was a major Ohio industrialist. He became a close Herbert Hoover advisor. Bush's grandfather, Prescott, was a Wall Street investment banker. He was a crook.
Family members included a former US senator, two governors, a congressman, vice president, CIA director, UN ambassador, and two presidents.
Prescott Bush was a Union Banking Corporation director. The firm represented German industrialist Fritz Thyssen.
It traded with the enemy during WW II. It shipped millions of dollars worth of gold, oil, steel, coal, and US Treasury bonds to Germany. It supported Hitler's war machine.
So did Prescott's Brown Brothers Harriman. It did so until its assets were seized in 1942. Trading with the Enemy Act charges were filed.
GHW Bush was Gerald Ford's CIA director. He served in Congress. He was America's UN ambassador.
He chaired the Republican National Committee. He was Reagan's vice president. He was a one-term US president.
He helped suppress who killed Jack Kennedy. Evidence suggests his possible involvement.
As vice president, he was directly involved in Iran-Contra. He helped get GW elected Texas governor. It catapulted him to the White House.
His war on terror was a thinly veiled scheme for global dominance.
In his first State of the Union address, he declared war on a "terrorist underworld (in) at least a dozen countries."
They ranged from "remote jungles and deserts (to) centers of large cities," he claimed.
He asked "all nations (to) heed our call and eliminate the terrorist parasites who threaten their countries and our own."
He said "(i)f they do not act, America will." He designated North Korea, Iran and Iraq an "axis of evil." He falsely claimed their "weapons of mass destruction posed a grave and growing danger."
Bush headed America on fast track toward tyranny. Obama continued his agenda. He exceeded the worst of his policies. Nothing in prospect suggests change.
Today is the most perilous time in world history. Humanity may not survive many more "humanitarian" interventions. The unthinkable may end up the inevitable.
