« Obama Includes Iranian Missiles in Nuclear Talks | Israel Bombs Syrian/Lebanese Border » |

It bears repeating what previous articles stressed. All the news Times editors call fit to print isn't fit to read.
Managed news misinformation substitutes for truth and full disclosure. It's in lockstep with US monied interests.
Pro-Western propaganda is featured. It's pro-war, pro-business, anti-populist, and anti-government of, by, for everyone equitably, justly and fairly.
It supports imperial lawlessness. Times editors endorse all US campaigns against sovereign independent countries.
They're in lockstep with efforts to topple them. They support Obama's war on Syria. They wrongfully blame Assad for his crimes of war, against humanity and genocide.
They vilify leaders Washington opposes. They've waged propaganda war on Ukraine. They did so since US-orchestrated street violence erupted last November.
They wrongfully blame Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych for months of anti-government street rioting. Obama bears full responsibility. EU partners share it. Don't expect Times editors to explain.
So-called moderate elements don't exist. Fascist extremists usurped power. Times editors turn a blind eye to reality.
They endorse what demands condemnation. They betray their readers in the process.
On February 24, they headlined "Ukraine's Uncertain Future." They straightaway bashed Yanukovych. "The venal president of Ukraine is on the run," they said.
They endorsed lawless anti-government rioting. It's "not clear who is in charge," they claim.
It's very clear what's ongoing. Xenophobic, ultranationalist, militant, fascist, hate-mongering anti-Semites usurped power.
Nazi symbolism is openly displayed. Sieg Heil (hail victory) salutes are increasingly commonplace.
Washington openly backs fascist Svoboda party leader Oleh Tyahnybok. Last December, even the UK-controlled BBC called his behavior "over-the-top."
In 2004, Tyahnybok was expelled from former President Viktor Yushchenko's parliamentary faction. He was condemned for urging Ukrainians to fight against a "Muscovite-Jewish mafia."
In 2005, he denounced "criminal activities" of "organized Jewry." He outrageously claimed they plan "genocide" against Ukrainians."
Rada delegate Yuriy Mykhalchyshyn is a Svoboda ideologue. He openly quotes Joseph Goebbels. He founded the Joseph Goebbels Political Research Center. It's a neo-Nazi think tank.
Tyahnybok extremism didn't deter Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland. On February 6, she met openly with him and other anti-government leaders.
In early January, 15,000 ultranationalists held a torchlight march through Kiev. They did so to honor Nazi-era collaborator/mass murderer Stepan Bandera.
Some wore uniforms a Wehrmacht Ukrainian division used in WW II. Others chanted "Ukraine above all" and "Bandera, come and bring order."
Fascist elements infest Washington. In the 1940s, Bandera supporters founded the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA).
Today it includes 20 Ukrainian organizations with over 75 branches throughout America. They actively lobby Washington.
They're ideologically over-the-top. They organized anti-Yanukovych rallies in US cities. They marched through downtown Chicago. They openly displayed Bandera red and black banners.
According to the Chicago Historical Society, over 45,000 city residents claim Ukrainian ancestry.
New York Times editors ignore what demands headlines. They suppress important news and information readers need to know.
They claim "a vindictive Russia could easily make things more miserable by closing the border or raising gas prices."
They support efforts to lock Ukraine into IMF debt bondage. They want Russia "prevent(ed) from undermining any rescue plan..."
They claim Washington and EU partners aren't "promoting a government dominated by (ultra)nationalists."
They called what's ongoing "a decisive moment for...Putin." Kremlin policy is "vindictive," they said.
They bashed Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. He justifiably called what happened an "armed mutiny."
They accused Putin of inventing "Western conspiracies behind all challenges to his will."
They falsely claim Ukrainians "believe their future is with the values and practices of the West. Eastern Ukrainians comprise nearly half the country's population.
They overwhelmingly opposed Washington's orchestrated putsch. Their leaders openly denounced fascist coup plotters usurping power in Kiev. They reject their policies.
Many western Ukrainians feel the same way. They know how extremists operate. They oppose what they see developing. So will the vast majority of Ukrainians once they realize they were had.
Times editors outrageously call post-coup Ukraine "democratic." They endorse what demands denunciation.
They waged war on Bolivarian fairness since Chavez took office in February 1999. Francisco Toro is a former columnist. He masquerades as a journalist.
He's a right-wing anti-Chavista propagandist. No respectable publisher would touch his rubbish. Times editors feature his op-eds.
He takes full advantage. On February 24, he headlined "Rash Repression in Venezuela."
Washington orchestrated street violence continues. It's been ongoing for weeks. Toro mocked reality. He turned truth on its head.
Maduro "is sticking to the old script: Venezuela is falling victim to a fascist conspiracy cooked up by American officials..."
People are "protesting in defense of the very right to protest," he claims. "The government response (is) a brutal police crackdown..."
What's "at stake (is) the right to free assembly," he said. Maduro "mobilized (his) sprawling propaganda apparatus...in a concerted campaign of vilification to demonize the protest leaders as a shadowy fascist cabal in cahoots with American imperialists."
"The claim is outlandish," he added. Maduro "has little trouble justifying the use of violence against its opponents."
Fact check
Destabilizing Venezuela is longstanding US policy. Washington wants Maduro toppled. It wants Bolivarian fairness ended. It wants Venezuela plundered for profit.
Fifteen years of failure hasn't deterred US viciousness. Obama planned ongoing violence long before it erupted. He manipulates it. He funds it.
He bears full responsibility for 13 deaths so far. Scores of others were injured. Street violence is Venezuela's worst in over a decade. It shows no signs of ending.
Over 500 provocateurs were charged with stoking unrest. Most only got warnings. Around 45 were arrested. They're currently detained.
"If there's one thing these violent protests have done, it's unite Chavismo," said Maduro. He accused extremist opposition elements of enlisting "mercenaries" to fuel violence.
One detained Middle East provocateur had 11 telephones. On Monday, Maduro repudiated John Kerry's comments. They "give green light to violent groups to attack our people," he said.
Washington's position "is not accepted by any country (supporting democracy) and Venezuela is no exception," he added.
For 14 years, Chavez defended Bolivarianism courageously. He did so from Washington's longstanding campaign to crush it. Maduro now does the same thing. Don't expect Toro to explain.
Fascist labeling is Maduro's "favored epithet to attack dissenters," he claims. He "can't finish a sentence without denouncing a fascist," he added.
He lied accusing Maduro of "18 alleged cases of torture and over 500 student arrests."
He nonsensically said "the protest movement has snowballed into a nationwide paroxysm of anger that puts the government's stability in question."
Protests are largely in well-off middle class areas. The vast majority of Venezuelans oppose them.
Toro's article repeated one canard after another. Times editors gave him featured op-ed space. It's standard Times practice.
An accompanying article headlined "In Venezuela, Protest Ranks Grow Broader," saying:
Protesters aren't "ordinary urban guerrillas. They included a manicurist, a medical supplies saleswoman, a schoolteacher, a businessman, and a hardware store worker."
Fact check
Washington funded provocateurs comprise protester ranks. So do enlisted middle class students. An occasional butcher, baker or candlestick maker joining them proves nothing.
Ordinary Venezuelans benefitting hugely from Bolivarian fairness oppose them. Don't expect The Times to explain.
"(O)utrage is being fueled by President Nicolas Maduro's aggressive response to public dissent," it claims. Accurate reporting isn't The Times long suit.
No responsible leader would let violent protesters rampage freely. Western ones attack nonviolent ones viciously. It's common practice in America.
Peaceful global justice, anti-war and Occupy Wall Street protests were brutally assaulted. Media scoundrels largely turned a blind eye.
The Times accused Maduro of "arresting a prominent opposition politician." Leopoldo Lopez is a US-funded anti-Bolivarian fascist politician.
In mid-2013, he openly said "we are not going to wait six years to be given change." He wants Maduro toppled. He provoked violence. Washington supports him.
He's charged with murder, terrorism, conspiracy, incitement to crime, setting fire to a public building, damaging public property, public intimidation, and inflicting serious injuries.
In America, he'd be declared guilty by accusation. Venezuelan justice is the real thing.
Maduro "squeez(es) the news media," said The Times. Its days earlier article falsely claimed only one television station regularly broadcasts critical government reports.
The vast majority of Venezuela's print and broadcast media are privately owned. They regularly criticize government policies. They do it obsessively.
They do it one-sidedly. At times they're over-the-top. Venevision, Globovision and other corporate run operations air anti-government programming most Western countries consider verboten.
They'd never allow it on air. Or in mainstream print. Reporting is polar opposite. It supports government policies. Criticism when aired is muted. It's too inconsequential to matter.
Times editors, columnists and contributors specialize in misreporting. Accuracy isn't their long suit. Propaganda substitutes for truth-telling.
It continues ad nauseam. Times readers deserve better. They're best served by choosing accurate alternative sources.
Declining numbers of scoundrel media followers are encouraging. It shows increasing mass awareness.
Maybe some day everyone will ignore MSM propaganda. Maybe they'll consign it to the dustbin of history where it belongs.
