Comments on Major Geopolitical Events - Post-Cataract Surgery

The eyes don't have it at the moment. Healing takes time. One eye done on Thursday. Another in two weeks. The toughest part of healing is rest time needed - being unable to write normally. I'll do what I can without overdoing it.

My doctor said I can use my eyes normally online. Easy for him to say. He's a surgeon, not a writer focused on a bright screen for clearness requiring sunglasses while writing until healed. Hopefully not for too long.

Major events remain ongoing. Obama's rape of Yemen continues. He got US government military and civilian personnel out safely.

He refuses to evacuate three to four thousand stranded US citizens. They're left on their own during terror-bombing - Obama's latest war using Saudi-led regional proxies doing his dirty work.

The Pentagon absurdly claims it's too dangerous to evacuate US citizens. It could order an immediate halt to terror-bombing. Obama wants it continued.

The State Department says it issued a travel warning. So it's the fault of those in Yemen for their own predicament.

Numerous other governments sent planes and ships to evacuate their nationals. Not Washington. Ordering a halt to terror-bombing would make evacuations much safer - despite ground fighting.

Obama's message to stranded/endangered US citizens: Go to hell.

Three human rights announced they're suing John Kerry and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter for failing to protect US citizens:

  • the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC);

  • the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR); and

  • the Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Asian Law Caucus (ALC).

Kerry and Carter are unindicted war criminals on multiple counts. Most stranded US citizens are of Yemeni origin.

Hundreds of families are stuck - many with young children desperately wanting to get out, facing possible death or serious injury otherwise.

The State Department's response: Arrange your own transportation. Find another country willing to help.

At least one American died so far - traveling to Yemen to help evacuate his family.

The ICRC estimates 1,042 deaths so far, thousands more injured - many maimed for life.

Casualty estimates are conservative. Total numbers are likely much higher - mounting daily as relentless US-planned, orchestrated and directed terror-bombing continues.

Yemen is being raped - Obama's latest atrocity. He has lots more death and destruction in mind.

He's the most ruthless of America's warrior presidents. Where will he strike next?

How many more innocent victims will die, be maimed for life, or have their welfare and futures destroyed?

At the same time, Obama already breached Iran nuclear framework terms.

P5+1 countries and Iran agreed all sanctions would be lifted straightaway (including by Security Council resolution) once a final deal is consummated and Tehran signs it.

The State Department now says lifting will be gradual once Washington is convinced Iran is observing agreed on terms.

According to State Department press office head Jeff Rathke:

"Sanctions will be suspended in a phased manner upon verification that Iran has met specific commitments under a finalized joint comprehensive plan of action."

True to form, Washington agreed to one thing in Lausanne. It issued a fact sheet following framework terms resolved. Some it agreed to. Others it breached.

It's impossible negotiating with a country unwilling to observe agreements reached. Iranian President Hassan Rohani said he'll only sign a final deal if all sanctions are lifted straightaway as all parties agreed on in Lausanne.

It remains to be seen what follows in talks continuing toward trying to resolve all remaining issues by June 30.

Comments by US officials post-Lausanne aren't encouraging. They prove Washington's untrustworthiness.

Its word isn't its bond. It's notorious history shows treaties, conventions and other agreements signed on to aren't worth the paper they're written on.

They're routinely breached. Expect nothing different this time. Expect US hostility toward Iran to continue.

Expect administration and congressional neocons infesting Washington to assure it. Expect Israel and its Lobby making sure they do!
