Anti-Brexit Media Campaign Kicks Off

June 30th, 2016

Scoundrel media mouthpieces for power, along with monied interests they feature oppose Brexit. Expect a torrent of gloom and doom fear-mongering to come.

Representing hundreds of member publications in over 150 countries, the Project Syndicate featured new world order/billionaire speculator George Soros’ anti-Brexit op-ed - misinformation and Big Lies substituting for straight talk.

In the EU, Britain “had the best of all possible deals,” he claimed, ignoring its lost political sovereignty to a higher Brussels authority - what no responsible government should accept.Brexit represented public discontent, an anti-neoliberal rebellion, opposing its assault on personal freedoms. Soros claimed its supporters “exploited the deteriorating refugee situation,” adding:

“(T)he catastrophic scenario that many feared has materialized, making the disintegration of the EU practically irreversible.”

Fact: There’s nothing “catastrophic” about sovereign independence, despite ongoing disruptions and uncertainty continuing over an indefinite period.

Fact: EU policies represent pure evil, the alliance a CIA creation, giving America greater control over a unified Europe, colonization made easier.

Admitting the “EU is a flawed construction,” Soros wants it redesigned and saved. He’s not alone.

NYT editors
warned of negative “spillover” consequences. They accused Brexit proponents of making “false promises,” saying they’re “crumbl(ing).”

Unexplained was EU subservience to America’s imperial agenda, its neoliberal war on ordinary Europeans, rewarding its privileged class at their expense.

Instead The Times backs pure evil policies Brussels represents, unconcerned the enormous harm inflicted on countless millions.

Neocon Washington Post editors’ antidote to Brexit is “a strong NATO,” waging more wars of aggression than already.

They accused David Cameron of being soft “in resisting Russian aggression in Ukraine” and “retreating” on bombing Syria until belatedly joining Obama’s illegal campaign - on the phony pretext of combatting ISIS.

More lambasting followed, notably citing his initial backing of Brexit, later turning against it. They claimed unpredictable events ahead may “devalue (the US/UK) “special relationship.’ “

They urged more aggressive US dominance of NATO than already, Britain remaining a member, “reinforc(ing) (the) transatlantic military partnership…bridg(ing) the (alleged) gap between London and the continent.”

Wall Street Journal
editors took a similar tact, calling on Washington to “seize this moment of uncertainty to reassert its leadership in a Western alliance of free (sic) nations.”

The London-based Financial Times urged the ouster of Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn, saying he “must go…(His) position is no longer tenable,” blaming him for “his role on the Remain side,” calling it “little short of sabotage.”

London’s Guardian
said Brexit supporters “don’t know what they’re doing,” claiming they have no plan “beyond withdrawal…”

Voices of power and their media acolytes want status quo conditions remaining. Responsible change is discredited. Power and privilege alone matter.

Mystifying the sultry blues of "Blue Sun" to the punk-infused anthems like "Brass in Pocket," the band slips into these heterogeneous grooves with greased skids.
