Trump/Pence Dog and Pony Show Kick-Off

July 18th, 2016

Stephen Lendman

Politics in America combines image-building with deception. It’s more about theatrics than substance, voters left uninformed about issues mattering most. The fate of the nation and world hang in the balance.

On Saturday in Manhattan, the Trump/Spence train left the station, aiming for triumph in November, not derailment.

Introducing Indiana Governor Mike Spence to a national TV audience, Trump called him “my partner in this campaign.”Together for the first time publicly, Trump combining Clinton bashing with praising his running mate. “What a difference between crooked Hillary Clinton and Mike Pence,” he blustered. “He’s a solid, solid person.”

TPP: Top Lobbyist Says TPP Will Probably Become Law Soon After Nov. 8th

July 17th, 2016

Eric Zuesse

Rufus Yerxa, the top lobbyist for the National Foreign Trade Council, told World Trade Online, on July 12th, that he believes "there is enough time and congressional support to get TPP passed during a lame-duck" session of Congress, meaning the session between November 9th and January 3rd, which would be in time for U.S. President Barack Obama to sign it into U.S. law before leaving office. (It would be done basically the way Bill Clinton deregulated Wall Street and ended AFDC — just as he exits the White House, and with overwhelming Republican support in Congress.)

This means that any increase in the laws and/or regulations regarding product-safety, workers’ rights, consumers’ rights, and/or the environment, will spark a slew of lawsuits by the owners of international corporations, against the U.S. government, the taxpayers, to reimburse to these stockholders what they estimate will be their resulting loss of profits on their investments. These are typically multi-billion-dollar suits, and if TPP passes, the number of them will explode into the stratosphere, like a nuclear weapon against national governments — a weapon that’s owned and operated by mega-corporations (not by any government).

Why Hillary Clinton’s Email Case Is Still Not Closed

July 17th, 2016

Eric Zuesse

Normally, when the head of the FBI under one President says something like “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case”, as the FBI reported regarding Hillary Clinton's emails, that would be the end of the matter; but Clinton actually still isn’t off the prosecutorial hook of this criminal case, unless and until she becomes President herself.

The decision as to whether or not to prosecute her on this matter is not made by the FBI Director, but by the Attorney General. The current one, Loretta Lynch, was appointed by (and holds her job at the discretion of) the man who has endorsed Ms. Clinton to become his own successor: the current U.S. President, Barack Obama. If Clinton doesn’t become the next President, the next Attorney General won’t be appointed by Clinton, and that person will then be making any decision as to whether or not to present the Clinton emails-case to a grand jury; and, if an indictment results, then to present it to a trial jury.

End Times – When Supreme Court justices just don’t matter

July 17th, 2016

Michael Collins

(Washington, DC) In 2016, we have a choice between Scylla and Charybdis, cancer and the plague, teen Dance Moms and the 800 Club. Hillary and the Donald are each so repellant in their unique way, it’s hard to imagine making a choice. The choice becomes even more difficult if you see each candidacy as a sign of the End Times. (Image: Maxwell Hamilton & DonkeyHotey)

When we discuss the dreadful choices for president, my friends tolerate my observations about Clinton’s warmonger behavior and the threat she poses to the survival of the species.   After all, I argue, as Secretary of State she helped formulate and execute the “Assad must go” strategy that kicked off the assault on the nation of Syria (aka, the Syrian civil war). The body count for Syria is now at 250,000 citizens. Add the 100,000 dead Libyans from that “civil war”, another Clinton special, and you’re talking about some very serious carnage.

Just when I think I’ve provided an indisputable rationale for not voting for Clinton, I get a sober and somewhat condescending look followed by the words “Supreme Court Justices.”

DeRay McKesson is a Funded COINTELPRO Agent and Race War Agitator

July 17th, 2016

The Following List of Articles Should Be Disseminated Far and Wide Before this Installed LGBT Leader of the Co-opted BLM Movement Starts a Full-blown Race War Across America

The Republican and Democrat National Conventions take place this month and are very vulnerable to being used to stage unprecedented political violence throughout the USA.

BEWARE:

Black Lives Matter and other violent activist groups like the New Black Panthers are routinely being used to perpetrate unparalleled violence and disruption at Trump campaign events, and other volatile venues.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch is coordinating with Democratic activists to so disrupt the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions that martial law will be declared.

That’s the stunning discovery revealed in a series of direct messages between three activists.

On Friday, June 10, 2016, someone hacked into the Twitter account of #BlackLivesMatter (BLM) leader and former Baltimore mayoral candidate DeRay McKesson. McKesson later confirmed the hack to The Baltimore Sun.

On June 11, 2016, a Twitterer who calls himself The Saint (@TheSaintNegro) tweeted a direct-message conversation on June 10 between KcKesson and another BLM leader Johnetta Elzie (Netta), in which the two discussed talking with Attorney General Loretta Lynch about plans to bring on martial law by causing chaos at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA, so as to keep Obama in office.

Erdogan Reign of Terror Following Failed Coup Plot

July 16th, 2016

Stephen Lendman

He’s back in Ankara, military forces loyal to his regime crushing remnants of Friday’s rebellion. His first order of business is solidifying power, eliminating opposition and hardening dictatorial rule. It’s just beginning.

Security forces retook control of state-run broadcaster TRT after rebels seized it. Turkish Airlines resumed flights to and from Istanbul’s Ataturk airport after suspending them yesterday. Various international airlines halted their own as a precaution.

Harsh crackdowns against coup plotters and supporters began. According to Erdogan, over 2,800 military personnel were arrested, ranging from soldiers to high-ranking officers.

Rebellion failed to gain traction, more a tempest in a teapot than revolution. All government ministries and facilities remain in regime control.

Hillary Clinton's Secret Society

July 16th, 2016

Terry Brown

America hosts numerous members-only and even secret political clubs, which are much spoken but little known about. Most people take any stories related to them for a sort of conspiracy theory. Directors and writers playing on our curiosity and inclination to peep through a keyhole create their bestsellers and blockbusters pretending to know all the gen on secret communities.

Let us follow their example and appeal to the same feelings. We are going to crack open a door to an affluent private women's club codenamed International Neighbors Club II, or INC II. Half a hundred of quite high-powered women enjoy its membership. These ladies are best of the best, closest of the closest associates. It is they who are called elite and high-class society.

Like any real organization the club cannot possibly exist in virtual world, its members have to hold meetings somewhere on a regular basis. The latest dated back to February 24, 2016, was the one to draw our attention to the club. The point is that the meeting ran at a pretty interesting and unexpected place, namely the FBI headquarters in Washington D.C. The spot chosen appears to be quite extraordinary especially to serve as a women' club venue. So, we got intrigued to find out what sort of a club it is, who the members are and why the FBI hosts their sessions.

Attempted Military Coup in Turkey

July 16th, 2016

Turkey is no stranger to military coups, three occurring in the post-Ottoman era, the last one in September 1980 before the July 15 attempted takeover.

It continued overnight. Events are fast moving. Reports indicate scores killed, many others injured, numerous arrests made by regime authorities. They remain in power - martial law and a curfew imposed.

Hyping Terrorism, Stoking Fear Following Nice, France Incident

July 16th, 2016

Stephen Lendman

Muslims are convenient scapegoats of choice in America, other Western societies and Israel. Islamophobia rages, boosted by Bastille Day violence in Nice.

Western media said lone jihadist lorry driver/gunman Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel singlehandedly mowed down or shot over 200 holiday celebrants in Nice overnight - killing scores, injuring many others, the claim defying credibility.

How could one person cause so many casualties before being stopped? Logic suggests more than one attacker involved, maybe covert CIA, Mossad and/or French security forces.

Rabble-rousing reports made what happened sound like a bad film plot, alleged terrorism the way Hollywood portrays it, sensationalism to build viewer interest - in real life to hype terrorist threats, stoke fear and manipulate people to go along with what they’d otherwise oppose.

Bouhlel is dead, lethally shot by police, unable to tell tales, conveniently ID’d by his identity card, cell phone and bank card left behind.

Why would anyone carry them to the scene of a planned crime, risking easy identification and arrest if caught alive? Police claimed firearms and explosives were found inside the lorry - no independent corroborating reports available.

Is Trumping Stumping for Hillary?

July 15th, 2016

Donald Trump, the 69-year-old New York real estate mogul and unrepentant bigot, continues to dominate the Republican presidential primary polls. Trump’s sudden ascendance, accelerated by his willingness to insult virtually any ostensible ally within the conservative movement, has left GOP leaders dumbfounded. How did this caricature of a Republican politician, who has never held elected office, and whose personal ideology is remarkably fluid, usurp more experienced, more conservative, and better-funded candidates like Jeb Bush and Scott Walker? Within this vacuum of understanding, an almost-believable conspiracy theory has obtained currency: Donald Trump is in fact a false flag candidate whose actual mission is electing Hillary Clinton as President.

To understand the contours of this theory, it’s helpful to understand where it came from.
