The Times consistently violates its own journalistic standards and ethics, ones it’s sworn to uphold.
Saying its practices “must be beyond reproach” belies its consistent managed news misinformation and Big Lies.
Hard truths on issues mattering most, notably geopolitical ones, are systematically suppressed.
Editorial policy recklessly bashes Russia, notably Vladimir Putin with no just cause whatever, solely for political reasons, one-sidedly supporting Washington’s rogue imperial agenda, waging endless wars on humanity at home and abroad. On January 21, Times editors practically accused Putin of ordering former Russian Federal Security Service/KGB official Alexander Litvinenko’s November 2006 murder.
No credible evidence suggests it, dubious testimonies only, innuendo and hearsay, inadmissible in legitimate legal proceedings, part of longstanding, irresponsible Putin bashing.

The misnamed, one-man operated, London-based, Western-supported Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) issues daily anti-Assad/anti-Russian propaganda reports, consistent misinformation substituting for hard facts.
Its latest on January 24 turned truth on its head, headlining “Russian and Syrian warplanes kill 164 civilians in revenge massacre,” omitting evidence because there is none, saying: Deaths “includ(e) 43 children and 25 women…massacre(d)…in the past 72 hours…in the towns of Tabia, Jazira, Khesham, and al-Bolel in the eastern countryside of Der-Ezzor…in addition to the death of a woman and a man who were killed by aerial bombardment on Ma’dan area in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa.”

Jan. 25 (EIRNS)--Many sources pointed to the financial mudslide continuing and worsening today; none as poignant as the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, whose January survey of industrial conditions in Texas and Louisiana found everything collapsing. VCalling the situation "an oil and gas depression," the Fed bank found 21% of all companies had laid off workers and closed facilities, and that every aspect of its survey and forecast were back to their 2009 levels, or worse. {Financial Times} on Jan. 24 headlined "U.S. Junk-Rated Debt Hits Two-Decade Low." The $1 trillion of high-yield debt which is "energy debt" is now worth 56 cents/dollar on average, {FT} says, citing Moody's. Of the production and exploration companies, 11% of their debt was in default in December alone. "Investors are bracing for another spike in bankruptcies," says {FT}. One of the biggest bankruptcies so far appears on for this week; Sandridge Resources, which has a debt of $4 billion.

Israel’s settlement project flagrantly violates international law. Over 600,000 settlers occupy stolen Palestinian land.
Fourth Geneva prohibits an occupying power from transferring its citizens to the territory it occupies, as well as displacing people from their land to permit it.
Lawless development has been ongoing for nearly half a century. Israel wants all valued Judea and Samaria land exclusively for Jews, Palestinians ethnically cleansed to facilitate it - increasingly isolated, their fundamental rights systematically violated. On Sunday, Netanyahu reiterated his support for unlimited settlement expansion, saying “(t)he government supports settlements at any time, especially now when it is under terrorist assault and is taking a courageous and determined stand in the face of terrorist attacks.”

Relentless US Putin bashing persists, reckless accusations made - including invading Ukraine and murder, evidence backing up claims absent. None exists.
Putin is vilified for forthrightly defending Russian sovereign independence, supporting a multi-polar world, and challenging Washington’s imperial agenda - at the same time seeking world peace and stability along with mutual cooperation among all nations.
Comments by US officials reflect administration policy. Britain’s BBC is state-owned, controlled and operated. Propaganda substitutes for credible news and information.
On January 25th, which was the date when peace talks on Syria were to start, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry insisted that the organization founded by Osama bin Laden admirer, Zahran Alloush, represent the anti-Assad forces in the upcoming Syrian peace talks, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov very reluctantly accepted.
Alloush had founded and led the jihadist organization, Jaysh al-Islam. Wikipedia says "Jaysh al-Islam ex-leader Zahran Alloush gave a speech on the merits of Hajj in 2013 and praised Usama bin Laden, addressing him by the honorific 'Sheikh' and the honorific 'rahimahu Allah. ... Alloush addressed the Al-Qaeda organization Jabhat al-Nusra as 'our brothers’.” Al-Nusra had helped in carrying out a U.S.-Turkish-Saudi-Qatari arranged sarin gas attack in August 2013 that President Obama blamed on Assad and that Obama still cites as his reason and justification for bombing Assad’s army. Even when Obama entered the White House in 2009, he was aiming to find a way to remove Syria’s President, Assad, from power. Setting up this gas-attack (and blaming it on Assad) turned out to be the way to make that possible

Washington tolerates no governments it doesn’t control, wanting pro-Western vassal states replacing sovereign independent ones - notably Russia and China, both countries targeted for regime change.
Neocon/super-hawk former US Deputy Defense Secretary and World Bank president Paul Wolfowitz earlier explained Washington's “first objective is prevent(ing) the re-emergence of (rival states), either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere.”America seeks unipolar/New World Order dominance, pursuing a policy of state terrorism globally, wanting control over all other nations, threatening world peace, stability and security.

“In 2009, US President Obama said that the missile defense only serves as protection from Iranian nuclear missiles. But now there is an international treaty with Iran that bans Tehran from developing a potential military nuclear project. The International Atomic Energy Agency is controlling this, the sanctions against Iran are lifted – but still the US are working on their missile defense system. Only recently a treaty with Spain was signed, a deployment in Romania is being prepared, the same will happen in Poland in 2018, and in Turkey, a radar unit is being installed.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in an interview with Germany’s Das Bild, published on January 11th, but the press has ignored this very serious charge — an accusation of deception, bad faith, outright lying, on the part of the U.S. President.

Guantanamo is one of numerous US global black sites operating extrajudicially - torture and other forms of abuse still ongoing, major media entirely silent.
Obama could have closed all US torture prisons by executive order on day one in office. He chose to keep them operating.
His pledge to close Guantanamo during his first year in office was deliberate deception. The evidence speaks for itself.
Washington operates solely by its own rules. International, constitutional and US statute laws don’t matter. Former Guantanamo guard Joseph Hickman believes Guantanamo officials wanted prisoners causing “problems for the command” by leading hunger strikes or other forms of resistance silenced. More on him below.

Israel tolerates no criticism of its longstanding brutality against Palestinians, terrorizing and imprisoning thousands for political reasons, extrajudicially executing targeted individuals.
Israel arrested B’Tselem researcher Nasser Nawaj’ah days earlier. He committed no crimes. On Thursday, Jerusalem District Court Judge Moshe Yoed Hacohen ordered his immediate release.
Israel refused, continuing to illegally detain him. His lawyer Gaby Lasky filed an urgent motion under the Contempt of Court Ordinance against Samaria and Judea district police.
