Targeting Israeli Officials: Spanish Warrants Issued

November 18th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

The Middle East Monitor (MEM) reported arrest warrants issued by Spain’s Supreme Court for Netanyahu and other top Israeli officials - complicit in the May 2010 Mavi Marmara humanitarian mission to Gaza massacre.

Israeli commandos murdered 10 individually selected Turkish activists on board, one succumbing in May 2014 after being in a coma for four years.

Many others on board were brutalized - the incident happening in international waters, Israel so far remaining unaccountable for one of its many high crimes. Arrest warrants were issued for Netanyahu and former top officials Ehud Barak (a former prime minister), Avigdor Lieberman, Eli Yishai and Benny Begin (former prime minister Menachem Begin’s son) - as well as current defense minister Moshe Ya’alon and Israeli Navy commander Eliezer Marom.

Lunatics in Washington Want NATO Article 5 Invoked for Total War

November 18th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

NATO Article 4 calls for members to “consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence, or security of any” is threatened.

Article 5 considers an armed attack (real or otherwise) against one or more members, an attack against all. Collective self-defense is called for - perhaps in the wake of the Paris incident all-out war on humanity, risking global escalation if confrontation is provoked with Russia or China.

Unleashing US-led NATO’s killing machine could become the war to end all wars, risking world peace and humanity’s survival.

Republican presidential aspirant Marco Rubio called for “invok(ing) (NATO’s) Article 5,” requiring all 28 Alliance nations to defend a member under (alleged) attack.

Palestine: The Forgotten War

November 18th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Israel’s war on Palestine rages into its 7th week, extrajudicial assassinations occurring virtually daily, thousands of Palestinians wounded from live fire and other military assaults, over 1,000 civilians imprisoned for political reasons, including children and women.

Sunday saw no letup. Unrestrained Israeli brutality continued. With world attention on Paris, Netanyahu’s terror war rages almost unnoticed - two Qalandiya refugee camp Palestinians the latest victims, gunned down in cold blood during a raid to demolish an alleged attacker’s home.

Hundreds of Israeli soldiers stormed the camp violently from all sides, initiating clashes against defenseless civilians. Dozens were injured, some seriously. Numerous arrests followed.

Politico Reports Bush Knew 2001 Terror-Attack Was Imminent and Wanted It

November 18th, 2015

Eric Zuesse,

A stunning news-report at Politico on November 12th, titled “The Attacks Will Be Spectacular,” reveals that the then CIA Director George Tenet, and his anti-terror chief Cofer Black, say that they had told the White House this, but that the response coming back to them was “We’re not quite ready to consider this. We don’t want the clock to start ticking.” As Politoco’s reporter, Chris Whipple, then explains: "(Translation: they did not want a paper trail to show that they’d been warned.)”

It can’t get much more damning than that. Bush knew it was going to happen but did nothing to stop it. He didn’t even try to. In other words: His only actual concern at the time was for it to be done in such a way that his prior knowledge of it wouldn’t be provable — that his participation in it, his consciously allowing it to happen, would be deniable. He insisted on that deniability. He has consistently followed through with it.

France Declares War on Syria

November 18th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

It was predictable. What was just a matter of when came around 48 hours after what almost certainly was a Western-orchestrated false flag Paris attack, perhaps complicit with Israel - to create a pretext for escalated Middle East war and let Netanyahu terrorize the entire Palestinian population freely.

Syria is ground zero. More on the attack below. Paul Craig Roberts received an unverified report about “a massive cyber attack on French systems 48 hours prior to and during the Paris attacks.”

It “took down the French mobile data network and blinded police surveillance.” It was “a sophisticated attack…beyond the capability of” garden variety terrorists.

No World Solidarity for Palestinian Victims of Israeli State Terrorism

November 18th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

For decades they’ve suffered in silence. The world community turns a blind eye and deaf ear to their misery, victims of Israeli viciousness, now in plain sight to see, ignoring what demands accountability, an end to Israel’s free pass to commit high crimes with impunity.

Parisians mourn their losses. Victims of last Friday’s terror attacks aroused world sympathy. Children pay tribute with parents. French flags are held. Peace and solidarity symbols abound. Candles are lit for the dead.

Vigils are held. Flags fly at half staff. Flowers are laid near French embassies worldwide. Signs read: “We are all Parisians.” “Prayers for Paris.”

Why is grief selective? Why are some crime victims more worthy than others? Why does the world community ignore longstanding Palestinian suffering at the hands of a ruthless occupier?

U.S. Demands There Be No Democracy in Syria

November 17th, 2015

Eric Zuesse

All of the available polling that has been done by Western polling firms in Syria has indicated strongly that the current President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, would easily win any free and fair election in that country. In fact when the question was directly put to Syrians by a Western polling organization, Assad got 55%, which wouldn’t leave much for each of the opposing candidates in any election, the candidates who would be splitting the residual 45%. And this poll was taken shortly after the Arab Spring demonstrations against him — those demonstrators actually possessed little support from most Syrians. So, the United States Government demands that Assad be simply removed from office, and not allowed on the ballot, if an election for President is to be held at all in Syria.

Arthur Topham vs. Theodore Nathan Kaufman

November 17th, 2015

By Gilad Atzmon

Arthur Topham, the man behind Radical Press, was found guilty yesterday on one count of communicating statements that “wilfully promote hatred against an identifiable group.”

Some Canadians such as Harry Abrams, former B.C. representative for the League of Human Rights for B’nai Brith Canada, were thrilled. “Canada says that you should be able to walk in peace and not be fearful to be victimized, to be vilified, because of who you are or who you were born as,” Abrams told CBC News. But Topham, who has been married to a Jewish woman for over 37 years, doesn’t criticise or vilify Jews for who they are or the family into which they were born. He actually criticises some Jews, like Abrams, who subscribe to some particularly noxious tribally exclusive politics and ideology. Topham must have wrongly assumed that in a Western society, all forms of politics and ideologies, including Jewish ones, must be subject to criticism.

Western Media Hype Rages Post-Paris Attacks

November 17th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Instead of reporting fully and accurately, Western media unquestioningly support the official narrative about Friday’s Paris attacks - almost certainly a state-sponsored false flag. The public is systematically lied to.

Post-Paris attacks, headlines hype fear-mongering, manipulating people to support endless wars OF terror against nations threatening no one - on the phony pretext of fighting ISIS, a US creation.

Media scoundrels are complicit agents of Washington’s imperial agenda - including war at home on freedom as well as permanent ones abroad.

The New York Times famously avoids screaming top-of-the front page headlines. Over the weekend, they disgracefully switched formats, reporting tabloid-style - on Sunday headlining in bold letters: “PARIS ATTACK WAS WORK OF 3 TEAMS, AN ‘ACT OF WAR’ BY ISIS, FRANCE SAYS.”

One of several Sunday stories said Friday’s attacks “are almost certain to force a reassessment of the threat and may prompt a more aggressive (US) strategy against the Islamic State…”

A Battle With No Front

November 17th, 2015

By Gilad Atzmon

Yesterday morning, the news was broadcast of extensive ‘heroic’ allied drone attacks in Iraq and Syria in support of the battle for Sinjar. We also learned about the assassination of Jihadi John. We were told some revenge might be on the way. As promised, last night Paris was bathing in blood.

Welcome to World War III – a global conflict with unlimited battlefronts. We, as people of the world, are all caught in the middle in this disaster. We see that our universe is crumbling, we want peace, yet we don’t even know who the enemy is.

For some of us, this recent escalation is not a surprising development. We have been writing about it for years. We have been scrutinising the disastrous impact of the matrix of Ziocon immoral interventionist lobbies that have been relentlessly advocating more and more conflicts. The CRIF in Paris, CFI in London and AIPAC in Washington all push for escalation of the battle against Arabs and Muslims in accordance with the Israeli plan for a new Middle East.
