There now is open disagreement between three Western leaders regarding how to move forward with regard to Ukraine: Barack Obama of the United States, versus Francois Hollande of France, and Angela Merkel of Germany.
On Friday, August 29th, this split became public concerning whether the Minsk II accords for ending the Ukrainian civil war should remain in force. Obama supports the view of Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, to violate the Minsk II accords, which would end it; the same day, Hollande and Merkel agreed with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, that the Minsk II agreement needs to be implemented in full.

Events in Ukraine (and Eastern Europe) target Russia - part of Washington’s longstanding regime change agenda, wanting US-controlled puppet governance replacing Russian sovereignty, eliminating a key rival power, giving America access to a huge new source of vital resources.
Perhaps Victoria Nuland’s dirty hands were involved in Monday Kiev riots, previous unrest this year and likely more to come. Washington is displeased with Poroshenko. Former Ukrainian MP Vadim Kolesnichenko said US officials are considering two replacements:
Valentin Nalivaichenko, former Ukrainian security service head, or Sergei Levochkin, former Yanukovych chief of staff. A previous article explained Ukrainians overwhelmingly despise Poroshenko. Calls persist for him to step down. Replacing him won’t surprise anyone.

Gaza is ground zero for Israel’s longstanding ethnic cleansing policy to achieve maximum Jews and minimum Arabs - on stolen Palestinian land, acquired by mass slaughter and displacement, a ruthless, racist, rogue state agenda, violating the letter and spirit of core international laws with impunity.
The world community is complicit with its high crimes - doing nothing to stop them, ongoing for nearly seven decades with no letup, raping millions of Palestinians, defenseless against its killing machine.
The UN Conference on Trade and Development’s (UNCTAD) annual report says “Gaza could become uninhabitable by 2020 if current economic trends persist.”

Haiti’s only legitimate government in over 200 years was under Jean-Bertrand Aristide (1991, 1994 - 1996, and 2001 - 2004) - twice ousted by US imperial arrogance, a true populist leader serving all Haitians equitably, dedicated to social justice.
In 2011, Washington rigged Haiti’s electoral process to install widely despised Duvalierist/anti-populist Michel (Sweet Mickey) Martelly as president. He governs extrajudicially - by decree since parliament was dissolved in January, in violation of Haiti’s constitution. Haiti hasn’t had elections in over four years. When held they’re farcical - rigged to assure US-approved candidates win. More on this below.

Following an attorney general arrest warrant against him, Otto Perez Molina resigned. His spokesman Jorge Ortega said he submitted his resignation at midnight Wednesday local time - “to maintain the institution of the presidency and resolve on his own the legal proceedings leveled against him.”
They’re unrelated to his sordid past - when known as “Major Tito” for involvement in genocidal slaughter of indigenous Ixil Indians in 1982.
Journalist Allan Nairn explained he was one of the US-backed generals responsible for “massacres that devastated the Mayan population of the northwest highlands.”

Whatever happens, Washington will win in Syria, because the United States has not one, but two different policies with regard to this country. Either there will be peace, and President Obama will be praised for having successfully negotiated with Iran ; or else the Syrian Arab Republic will be destroyed and occupied by NATO, and a few US generals and NATO will be praised for having brought an end to the bloodbath. Here, Thierry Meyssan reveals the underside of this double policy, in particular the plot that was hatched by the NATO Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs. (Image: Gen. John R. The application of the agreement reached between Washington and Teheran, on the 14th July, 2015, depends mainly on President Obama’s capacity to convince his fellow-citizens, and particularly the Congress of his own administration, to accept it. Here, however, he will be faced with two major obstacles.

Israel is a racist police state - run by criminal thugs. Numerous earlier measures violated the letter and spirit of fundamental international humanitarian laws.
Justice Minister Ayelet (“little snakes”) Shaked heads the Israeli Legislation Ministerial Committee. It drafted the new police state measure - solely targeting Palestinians despite claims otherwise.
It broadens the definition of terrorism, related activities and terrorist organizations - to more severely brutalize Palestinians than already, for political reasons, not criminality. It mandates longer prison terms and stiffer conditions for releasing detainees. Israel’s definition of “terrorism” is any Palestinian protesting for international law guaranteed rights everyone deserves.

I keep imagining the White House with a big, really big neon sign TRUMP across the top of the roof.
Count me as fully supporting the candidacy of Donald Big Mouth Trump. Why? Because for a long time we have had a delusional democracy, the product of a political system destroyed by both major political parties and the moneyed interests supporting both of them. Trump is the only possible president capable of productively disrupting this fake democracy, actually a plutocracy. It is more rational to fear whatever conventional Democrat or Republican won the presidency than to fear Trump. More of the same is far more frightening than nothing like this before. Moreover, there are sufficient constitutional checks from the other two branches of the federal government to curb fears of nutty actions by President Trump.

Lopez is a US-funded anti-Bolivarian fascist politician. In January 2014, he and defrocked former National Assembly member Maria Corina Machado launched a La Salida (the Exit) campaign, openly calling for replacing Venezuela’s government.
Street violence followed for months. Dozens died, many others injured and arrested. February 2014, Lopez was detained.
At the time, prosecutors held him responsible for murder, terrorism, conspiracy, incitement to crime, setting fire to a public building, damaging public property, public intimidation, and inflicting serious injuries.

No two nations sacrificed more to defeat the scourge of Nazi and imperial Japanese fascism that Russia and China.
No one knows for sure how many from both countries perished. Estimates of Russian deaths ranged from 26 - 40 million.
From Japan’s invasion and occupation of Manchuria in 1931 to WW II’s end in 1945, 30 million or more Chinese died. Many more in both countries suffered serious injuries. Large parts of their land mass were devastated. Without Sino/Russian contributions to the war effort, Hitler and imperial Japan might have prevailed. War didn’t touch US soil. Americans old enough to remember recall minor inconveniences only - including rationing goods needed for the war effort.
