It’s Coming

Woody Harrelson has always harbored some, well, strange views (JHK).

"Millions of people in the West see the spiritual catastrophe their societies are being led towards. The elites are going crazy, but that is their problem. What we have to do is defend our children from this degradation and degeneracy." — Aimee Therese on Twitter.

“It’s Coming.” That’s what Elon Musk said a while back apropos of the Twitter files that show all the US government suppression of Covid-19 information mis-labeled as “misinformation.” Think of whatever the truth is as mis-misinformation. Get it? You might have to read that sentence more than once to comprehend what went wrong with the American consensus the past three years. And then you’ll begin to understand why the operation is called mind-fuckery.

“It” comes out in weird ways now. For instance, Woody Harrelson’s little prank on Saturday Night Live. The A-List actor opened the show acting stoned, talking about how much he likes weed and getting stoned, and, at the very end of his routine, spoke of a “movie script” that spun out in his stoned head:

Misperception and Amplification of Climate Risk

Misperception and Amplification of Climate Risk

Judith Curry

“Something frightening poses a perceived risk. Something dangerous poses a real risk.” – Swedish physician Hans Rosling et al.[i]

This post is a follow on to my recent post Victims of the faux climate ‘crisis’. Part I: Children. The issue of psychological trauma of children is one that I am continuing to work on, to identify root causes and a way forward.

The theme of this particular post is how our perceptions of risk differ from the actual risk itself. Understanding this difference provides insights to understanding these fears, as well as providing insights into how these differences are manipulated by propagandists.

Apart from the objective facts about a risk, the social sciences find that our interpretation of those facts is ultimately subjective. Risk science makes a clear distinction between professional judgments about risk versus the public perception of risk. Risk perception is a person’s subjective judgement or appraisal of risk, which can involve social, cultural and psychological factors.

Assange: A Threat to War Itself

February 27th, 2023

Robert C. Koehler

Assange: A Threat to War Itself
The Pentagon’s offer of “condolence money” to the relatives of the ten people (seven of them children) who were killed in the final U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan — originally declared righteous and necessary — bears a troubling connection to the government’s ongoing efforts to get its hands on WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and punish him for exposing the inconvenient truth of war.

You know, the “classified” stuff — like Apache helicopter crewmen laughing after they killed a bunch of men on a street in Baghdad in 2007 (“Oh yeah, look at those dead bastards”) and then smirked some more after killing the ones who started picking up the bodies, in the process also injuring several children who were in the van they just blasted. This is not stuff the American public needs to know about!

At the time of the release of that particular video, in 2010, then-Secretary of Defense Robert Gates decried the fact that the public was seeing a fragment of the war on terror “out of context.” And, indeed, he was right. As I later wrote:

“The Department of Defense is supposed to have total control over context; on the home front, war is 100 percent public relations. The public’s role is to be spectators, consumers of orchestrated news; they can watch smart bombs dropped from on high and be told that this is protecting them from terrorism and spreading democracy. That’s context.”

Assange’s crime was collaborating with whistleblowers to expose hidden data and disrupt that context. Over the course of a decade, WikiLeaks published some 10 million secret documents, more than the rest of the world’s media combined, according to a Progressive International video. This is the organization that has launched the Belmarsh Tribunal, which is demanding that Assange be released from British prison and not be extradited to the United States. The Tribunal, modeled after the 1966 tribunal organized by Bertrand Russell and Jean-Paul Sartre to hold the U.S. accountable for its actions in Vietnam, will put the country on trial for its 21st century war crimes.

The World Has Enough Trouble

The World Has Enough Trouble

James Howard Kunstler

“[This] is what happens when you invent your own reality. You end up bamboozling yourself. — The Sirius Report on Twitter

If you think about it at all, can you come up with any good reasons why our country has involved itself in the Ukraine war? To defend democracy, many say? An emptier platitude does not exist in the vast slippery lexicon of spin. To thwart Russia’s imperial overreach? You apparently have no clue about Ukraine’s history, ancient or modern. To incite an overthrow of the wicked Putin by his own people? The Russian president is more popular there now than even John F. Kennedy was here in 1962.

There actually are no good reasons for what we are doing in Ukraine, only bad reasons. Mainly, stoking the war there diverts Americans’ attention from our own problems, which is to say the titanic failures of America’s political establishment. The USA is falling apart from a combination of mismanagement, malice, and negligence. Our economy is a tottering scaffold of Ponzi schemes. Our institutions are wrecked. The government lies about everything it does. The news industry ratifies all the lying. Our schoolchildren can’t read or add up a column of numbers. Our food is slow-acting poison. Our medical-pharma matrix has just completed the systematic murder and maiming of millions. Our culture has been reduced to a drag queen twerk-fest. Our once-beautiful New World landscape is a demolition derby. Name something that hasn’t been debauched, perverted, degenerated, or flat-out destroyed.

How the Truth Will Ultimately Prevail

Reflections on Another Year of Covidian Lies and How the Truth Will Ultimately Prevail

As we [have] come to the end of the second year in Covidia, I reflect on just how much the instigators of the entire scam have managed to reshape reality in an amazingly short time frame, such that what was considered normal 12 months ago is now considered abnormal, and what was considered abnormal 12 months ago is now seen as normal.

For instance, had one predicted 12 months ago that after “vaccinating” the elderly and those considered vulnerable, which was the “route back to freedom”, the Boris Johnson Regime and countless others around the world would...

1. Proceed to push the injection onto all adults
2. Move on to getting it into children
3. Make thousands jobless who do not wish to partake in the experiment
4. Begin the introduction of Vaccine Passports
5. Announce that the allegedly 95% effective products wane so quickly    they’ll need to be taken every few months
6. Start talking about the possibility of mandatory jabs
7. Reintroduce the restrictions that these injections were supposed to do    away with

…why, such a person would have been called a Conspiracy Nut. Yet a year later the same person is called a Conspiracy Nut for opposing these very things they got called a Conspiracy Nut for predicting, but which are now reality.

There is something horribly ironic, and also deeply chilling about this. For it shows not only how easily manipulated so many people are, but also just how easy it has been for the Covidian Regimes to reshape reality such that millions have come to accept as normal the very things they would have dismissed just months earlier as the product of deranged minds. The last two years has felt like people are living in parallel universes, so much so that it’s almost tempting to wonder whether Zuckerberg’s hideous Metaverse is already a thing, with millions having unwittingly entered it in early 2020 without noticing.

Between That Rock and The Hard Place

Between That Rock and The Hard Place

James Howard Kunstler

"…the president has made American support for Ukraine the centerpiece of his argument for a revitalized alliance in Europe, and he had told advisers that he wanted to mark the first anniversary of the invasion as a way of re-assuring allies that his administration remains committed….” — NYT, Feb 20, 2023

Secret Agent Man “Joe Biden” turned up in Kiev Monday morning after landing in Poland and riding an overnight choo-choo train across the Ukraine frontier to avoid the hazardous pomp of landing Air Force One in a war zone. One might try to guess the message Victoria Nuland sent her errand boy to deliver. My guess is that “JB” was there to tell Wolodymyr Zelensky the USA stands behind him one hundred percent — an obvious whopper — being exactly the opposite of the developing reality that, short of setting off nuclear Armageddon, there is really nothing the USA can do to prevent Russia from concluding our ill-conceived project on its own terms. Who better to deliver an arrant falsehood than the master, “Scranton Joe,” he who once battled and vanquished the tyrant Corn-Pop!

Remember, last week Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Mark Milley, speaking out of the aperture between his butt cheeks, announced that Russia had lost “strategically, operationally and tactically” in Ukraine. This was after NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg announced rather clumsily that Ukraine’s army was out of ammo, especially artillery shells, and the only remedy for that was for Europe to rebuild an armaments industry — which was a sideways-and-backwards way of saying… fuggeddabowdit.

Putin's Response to NATO: We'll Be Loading Nuclear Warheads on the Non-convertible Burevestnik, Kinzhal, Zircon!

Putin's Response to NATO: We'll Be Loading Nuclear Warheads on the Non-convertible Burevestnik, Kinzhal, Zircon!

warnews247.gr

Russian President V. Putin announced the withdrawal from the New START nuclear treaty, stressing that he signed a decree putting ground-based strategic systems on operational readiness.

The Russian President said that the reason for this was NATO's attempt to strike strategic bases with drones such as the Engels base through Ukraine.

This practically means four things:

1. Mass production and equipping the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal supersonic missile, 3M22 Zircon, the Poseidon      torpedo, the Iskander and especially the 9M730 Burevestnik with nuclear warheads
2. Return to classical nuclear testing by eliminating the use of computer simulation, as was done so far.
3. Equipping Iran in the first phase with nuclear weapons and know-how.
4. The Americans will have no access to the strategic nuclear arsenal of the new super-super-weapons      missiles which Russia is reportedly building at a high rate.

Withdrawal from the New START Treaty holds many unpleasant surprises. It is in fact a vertical escalation, a readiness to use nuclear weapons and a massive rearmament of nuclear strategic forces with new systems such as the 9M730 Burevestnik. The main mission of the Burevestnik missile is to destroy enemy operational bases, such as the land bases of the NATO Aegis anti-ballistic missile system. The missile, although initial estimates indicated that it had a range of 10,000 km, according to different estimates its range can reach up to 20,000 km thanks to its nuclear reactor, putting within its effective range almost all the West's anti-ballistic missile systems. The effectiveness of the new missile is ensured by the powerful nuclear warhead with which it is equipped.

Presidential Address to Federal Assembly

Presidential Address to Federal Assembly

Vladimir Putin, President of Russia

Vladimir Putin delivered his Address to the Federal Assembly. The ceremony took place in Gostiny Dvor, Moscow. Publication date: February 21, 2023, 13:50. (Text version)

President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Good afternoon,

Members of the Federation Assembly – senators, State Duma deputies, Citizens of Russia,

This Presidential Address comes, as we all know, at a difficult, watershed period for our country. This is a time of radical, irreversible change in the entire world, of crucial historical events that will determine the future of our country and our people, a time when every one of us bears a colossal responsibility.

One year ago, to protect the people in our historical lands, to ensure the security of our country and to eliminate the threat coming from the neo-Nazi regime that had taken hold in Ukraine after the 2014 coup, it was decided to begin the special military operation. Step by step, carefully and consistently we will deal with the tasks we have at hand.

Since 2014, Donbass has been fighting for the right to live in their land and to speak their native tongue. It fought and never gave up amid the blockade, constant shelling and the Kiev regime’s overt hatred. It hoped and waited that Russia would come to help.

In the meantime, as you know well, we were doing everything in our power to solve this problem by peaceful means, and patiently conducted talks on a peaceful solution to this devastating conflict.

Addresses by the President of the Russian Federation (February 21 & 24, 2022)

February 21st, 2023
Addresses by the President of the Russian Federation (February 21 & 24, 2022)

Vladimir Putin, President of Russia

[Take note: These speeches by President Vladimir Putin were both held a year ago. A new great speech is just around the corner, and is to be published today, February 21st. Much has happened since last year. We have seen things we thought belonged to the past. During this time, the anti-Russian propaganda has run wild. In the West, truth has been buried under piles & piles of lies and nonsense. Wars are serious business, and it behooves us all to make an effort to understand why they are being waged. No, they don't just "happen", they are started for basically a single and very specific reason, although there may seem to be many reasons for them, on the surface of things. For Russia, this war is existential. She could no longer stand by watching her people, the Russians in Ukraine, be slaughtered. The eight years after the 2014 American Nazi coup in Kiev have been terrible for these people. The Nazis have bombarded them night & day while Minsk II was shot to pieces, bit by bit. In the end, something had to be done for these Russians. In order to understand this, we have to step away from Western propaganda and listen to the other side. Keep in mind the old Latin dictum: Audiatur et altera pars. - The other side must also be heard. This is why these speeches need to be studied and reflected upon. – editor2]

💬 My address concerns the events in Ukraine and why this is so important for us, for Russia. Of course, my message is also addressed to our compatriots in Ukraine. The matter is very serious and needs to be discussed in depth. – Vladimir Putin

The situation in Donbass has reached a critical, acute stage. I am speaking to you directly today not only to explain what is happening but also to inform you of the decisions being made as well as potential further steps.

I would like to emphasise again that Ukraine is not just a neighbouring country for us. It is an inalienable part of our own history, culture and spiritual space. These are our comrades, those dearest to us – not only colleagues, friends and people who once served together, but also relatives, people bound by blood, by family ties.

Since time immemorial, the people living in the south-west of what has historically been Russian land have called themselves Russians and Orthodox Christians. This was the case before the 17th century, when a portion of this territory rejoined the Russian state, and after.

It seems to us that, generally speaking, we all know these facts, that this is common knowledge. Still, it is necessary to say at least a few words about the history of this issue in order to understand what is happening today, to explain the motives behind Russia’s actions and what we aim to achieve.

Russia Banned from Munich Security Conference

February 20th, 2023
Russia Banned from Munich Security Conference

Stephen Lendman

On Friday, the Munich Security Conference began, all things Russia and Nazi-infested Ukraine its main focus.

Presidents, prime ministers and other officials from scores of nations are attending, including the Biden regime’s Kamala Harris and interventionist Blinken. Germany’s delegation includes foreign minister Baerbock of we’re at war on Russia infamy. An array of unindicted war criminals include Biden regime officials, Baerbock, Britain’s Rishi Sunak, France’s Macron and US-installed NATO puppet Stoltenberg.

Ongoing from Friday through Sunday, no Russian officials were invited to attend for the first time since the 1990s. At a press conference days earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said the following:

💬 “We regret to say that in recent years, the conference has been increasingly transformed into such a transatlantic forum, losing its inclusiveness and objectivity.” “Interest in Moscow for this event dropped noticeably.”

In February 2007, Vladimir Putin addressed the Munich International Conference on Security, stating the following:

💬 “NATO put its frontline forces on our borders.” Its hostile actions are unrelated to “the modernization of the (war-making) alliance itself or with ensuring security in Europe.” “On the contrary, (they) represent a serious provocation that reduces the level of mutual trust.” “And we have a right to ask: against whom is this expansion intended?” “And what happened to assurances (that) western (regimes) made after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact?”
