The Importance of Being Angry

January 14th, 2015

Robert J. Burrowes

Unfortunately, in many circles, anger has a bad reputation. There are several reasons for this. One reason is that we are scared when people are angry at us, so we try to scare people, especially children, out of being angry. By doing this, we hope to escape responsibility for our dysfunctional behavior.

Another reason that anger has a bad reputation is because it enables people to defend themselves against violence and other forms of abuse. But if we want obedient and hardworking students, reliable and pliant employees/soldiers and submissive law-abiding citizens, then we must terrorize people out of being angry. Social control is not easy with people who are powerful and you need your anger to be powerful.

Netanyahu in Paris

January 14th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

He finds ways of giving chutzpah new meaning. Gatecrashing his latest offense. Showing up where not wanted.

French President Francois Hollande's national security advisor, Jacques Audibert, asked him not to come.

Through his Israeli counterpart, Yossi Cohen. Saying Sunday's event wanted to demonstrate solidarity with France. Avoid divisive issues. Like Israeli/Palestinian relations. Longstanding unresolved conflict.

Daily Israeli state terror against millions of long-suffering Palestinians.

Audibert hoped Netanyahu would avoid controversy and stay home. Especially not take advantage for campaigning purposes.

LaRouchePAC

More than a million people surged through the boulevards of Paris yesterday in a rally for unity, described as the largest demonstration in French history, AP reports. Almost four million Frenchmen rallied throughout France, according to the Interior Ministry, including 1.2-1.6 million in Paris, in the greatest nationwide demonstrations at least since the liberation of France from the Nazis. President François Hollande said: "Today, Paris is the capital of the world...Our entire country will rise up towards something better,"

the Independent reported.

On the demonstrators, AP reported that

"many shed the aloof attitude Parisians are famous for, helping strangers with directions, cheering and crying together."

Kiev Big Lie on Ending Donbas Conflict in Two Weeks

January 14th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Washington runs things in Ukraine. It newest colony. Kiev's illegitimate puppet government serves its interests. Ruthlessly exploiting its people in the process.

America wants unchallenged control over Ukraine's entire land mass. As a dagger pointed at Russia's heart.

Ukraine is a pretext. Regime change in Russia the objective. Gaining another US colony. Eliminating a major rival.

Stealing its vast resources. Exploiting its people. Turning them into serfs. Isolating China. Repeating the process against Beijing.

Transforming nations into a ruler/serf societies. More unfit to live in than ever. Coups, assassinations, false flags and permanent wars its tactics of choice.

No nation in world history reflects more pure evil than America. Wrapped in the American flag. People manipulated to believe destructive US policies benefit them.

January 13th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Civil liberties in America, Britain, France, and other Western societies are gravely threatened. Already seriously eroded.

Expect more assaults on fundamental freedoms ahead. Based on the usual canards.

Protecting national security. Defending free society rights. How by enacting police state laws against them?

According to a July 2010 ACLU report titled "Establishing a New Normal," Obama administration officials waged unprecedented war on civil liberties.

Continuing the worst Bush era practices. Adding more extreme ones. The ACLU discussed the following top 10 post-9/11 abuses of power:

Blowback is a Bitch

January 13th, 2015

Timothy Gatto

In the last month I have totally detached myself from television news and media propaganda. My stress level has gone down to zero. I do however read alternate news sites and hear things from people that are involved in media propaganda. When I hear people talking I am astounded at the ignorance people have of history.

The incident in France, and the reaction to it, makes me believe I'm living in a movie script. It is amazing how the mass media can hype something and make people believe that they have been "victimized" by Muslims. I can imagine how it was in Europe when the Pope called for a crusade to take back the "Holy Land".

Soros and Yatsenyuk: Partners in Crime

January 13th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Arseniy Yatsenyuk is Ukraine's illegitimate US-installed prime minister. Mocking the office he holds. More on him below.

George Soros is a world-class corporate predator. Making money the old-fashioned way.

Unconcerned about enormous harm he causes. Plundering nations for profit.

Once saying "(a)s a market participant, I don't need to be concerned with the consequences of my actions." Earning billions from rogue investing. Causing havoc worldwide. Anything for a buck, he believes.

Imperial wars benefit him greatly. So do plums like Ukraine. Low-hanging fruit. Ripe for plunder.

Spitting On Other People’s Prophets Is Not A Western Value

January 13th, 2015

By Gilad Atzmon

In a BBC interview following the Charlie Hebdo Massacre, Jewish Chronicle writer David Aaronovitch advised those who do not approve of ‘freedom of speech’ to ‘move to Pakistan.’ It is not surprising to find a Zionist Jew advocating voluntary cleansing; after all, expulsion is a Jewish nationalist favourite adventure. Judging by Aaronovitch’s endorsement of elementary liberty, I am happy to announce that the appeal for freedom of expression is the immediate and very positive outcome of the disastrous events in Paris.

Video: http://youtu.be/fopMx5A3L5A

But I am not convinced that those protesters who call themselves ‘Charlie’ are genuinely advocating the notion of universal freedom. Are they willing to accept Muslim clerics exploring that freedom? And what about Dieudonne challenging the Holocaust religion? And if Israel defines itself as ‘the Jewish State,’ can we, once and for all, put Jewishness under scrutiny? Does Aaronivitch, himself an arch Neocon Zionist and prime advocate of the Iraq War, willing to accept that some may consider the Holocaust an historical chapter, not a religion? This would be a revolutionary shift because Aaronovitch has gone out of his way to silence any discussion of historical revisionism, Jewishness or the powerful Jewish lobby.

The Unfolding Revolution in Rojava - Interview with Özgür Amed Journalist and Researcher

January 12th, 2015

By Dylan Murphy

The emergence of ISIS during the summer as a regional war lord in Iraq and Syria led to the usual media hysteria about the latest threat to our turbo-consumerist societies in the West. ISIS is going to take over the Middle East and then come to get us in our affluent homelands where freedom and democracy are under peril from the Islamist bogeyman.

Such simplistic nonsense echoes the media disinformation about ISIS and its ''irresistible'' expansion across the Middle East. The media puts on the same tired old record. The plight of the Kurds and other ethnic minorities in Northern Iraq and Northern Syria necessitates the ''humanitarian'' intervention of American imperialism and its puppet allies in Europe and the Gulf monarchies.

Never mind the fact that ISIS is a creation of American imperialism as are the other jihadist groups that have been trained and armed by those good friends of Western democracy in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Never mind that ISIS and all the other jihadist groups were created with the aim of overthrowing the Assad regime which is seen as the stepping stone on the road to regime change in Tehran. How dare the Islamic theocracy sit upon the fourth largest oil reserves in the world and not give the West a piece of the action.
