Since Soviet Russia's 1991 dissolution, Washington tried imposing its will on all 15 former republics and Warsaw Pact countries.
Wanting pro-Western stooges in charge. Turning independent states into virtual US colonies. Without sovereign independent rights.
America largely succeeding. Even in 1990s post-Soviet Russia. Under Boris Yeltsin. The Russian Federation’s first president. A caricature of a leader. A hooligan.
A political criminal. A world-class thug. An incompetent drunk. A lost decade under his leadership.
Letting US-directed shock therapy produce mass unemployment and impoverishment. Economic genocide.

Numerous ones. Important ones. Longstanding ones. Relating to humanitarian, human rights and other international law abuses.
US constitutional and statute laws. Israeli laws. Basic ones in lieu of an Israeli constitution.
Knesset enacted statutes. Recent and past. Good and bad. High Court decisions in both countries. Relating to civil and human rights.
War and peace. Equity and justice. Self-determination. A universal right. "(B)ased on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples," according to the UN Charter, Article 1.
A fundamental human right. "Everyone…entitled to all" Universal Declaration of Human Rights "freedoms…"

Regime change is longstanding US policy. All independent states are targeted. Mainly Washington's two main rivals - Russia and China.
Long sought US dominance depends on toppling their existing governments. Replacing them with pro-Western vassal ones. Puppet leadership subservient to Washington.
No easy task given their formidable power. Determination to remain independent. Free from outside control.
Especially Washington. Wanting unchallenged world dominance. Perhaps willing to risk nuclear war to achieve it.

Understanding the world is difficult at best. However, knowing how the world works is a task that can be readily recognized. The ability to grasp and admit both functions, is seldom achieved by most souls. Those who accomplish a rare and accurate comprehension of the human condition, appreciate the social conflict that permeates civilized life. Society is an invention to effect dominance. The Grand Inquisitor exacts compliance, for that is his function. Not that it is essential, but because it is ingrained and instinctive.
In The Brothers Karamazov, Fydor Dostoevsky has Ivan Karamazov use his intuition to deliver a psychological view of his internal struggle. “My poem is called ‘The Grand Inquisitor’- an absurd thing, but I want you to hear it.” His encounter bears witness to duel aspects of mankind. On the one hand God is needed, even if He is denied; and if His presence is in dispute, humankind will invent His omnipotence in the form of a civil structure.

Both countries partner in each other's wars. Israel bombs Syria at its discretion. Naked aggression by any standard. Longstanding Israeli practice.
The latest incident striking a Damascus' international airport warehouse. Believed to contain Iranian and Russian-supplied weapons.
Separate attacks targeted a Dimas area military site near Lebanon's border. Syrian and Lebanese sources reported at least 10 strikes.
Israel's last air attack was in March. Against alleged Syrian Quneitra region military positions. On Syria's side of the Golan.

December 10 is Human Rights Day. Commemorating "the fundamental proposition in the Universal Declaration that each one of us, everywhere, at all times is entitled to the full range of human rights, that human rights belong equally to each of us and bind us together as a global community with the same ideals and values."
Not in America. Or Israel. Fascist police states. Racist ones. Mocking fundamental civil and human rights.
Knesset members passed legislation targeting African migrants. Legitimate refugees and asylum seekers. So-called Holot law.
An amendment to the 1954 Prevention of Infiltration Law. Following two earlier versions. In 2010 and 2012.
Both struck down. Israel's High Court ruling them illegal. Calling the second version "the same lady in different clothing." Excluding non-Jews from entering Israel for any reason.
The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) called the 2010 measure "one of the most dangerous bills ever presented in the Knesset."

Last week, illegitimate/oligarch Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko declared December 9 a "day of silence."
Ahead of Human Rights Day. On December 10. This year's theme: Human Rights 365.
Longstanding Western tool Kan Ki-moon "call(ing) on states to honor their obligation to protect human rights every day of the year."
"I call on people to hold their governments to account." Ban is an imperial apologist. Supporting US-led Western wars on humanity.
Doing nothing responsible to denounce them. Demand US and coalition partners be held accountable. Israel for its high crimes against peace.

Increasingly one unfit to live in. Unsafe. A companion article discusses US military-generated toxic contamination.
Spreading it worldwide via air and water currents. Affecting food and water ingested. Air inhaled.
Making large parts of planet earth unfit for human habitation. Combined with industrial waste, creating an eventual environmental catastrophe. On a global scale. World leaders doing nothing to prevent it. Never in human history have reckless policies so affected humanity's welfare. Its ability to survive.

On July 24th, the Times of London did not headline as this news-report is headlined, but instead headlined much more obscurely, “Russia fears prompt Nato to look east for HQ.” Of course, people in the West tend not to care a lot about what “Russia fears.” They also don’t care much about whether “Nato,” or actually NATO [it’s an acronym and so is supposed to be all-caps], would “look east for HQ.” So, this news-report did not garner much attention — as it was, indeed, not intended to.
Online (where the critical, analytical, readers increasingly are), it received even less, because that newspaper isn’t online, except for its subscribers — people who are willing to pay for such poor journalism as the Times; i.e, pay to read corporations’ PR presented in the form of ‘news reports.’

America's military is the world's greatest polluter. Especially in war theaters. During conflicts. Long after they end.
Notably in Iraq and Afghanistan. Toxic wastelands and then some. Large areas unsafe for human habitation.
Military operations generate hundreds of thousands of tons of toxic waste. Dangerous carcinogens.
Including depleted uranium, heavy metals, hazardous chemicals, plastics, solvents, asbestos, pesticides, petroleum fuels, fungi, and bacteria.
Poisoning air, water and soil. Affecting local populations and US forces. Causing virtually every imaginable health problem. Many longterm. Debilitating. Others potentially fatal.
