The time has come when America must rapidly transform its values through a more inclusive and spiritual vision, based upon a just sharing of the world’s resources. It is up to you, the youth of America, to lead the way by organising a non-stop demonstration in every state, until that nationwide wave of peaceful protest eventually catches on globally.
What has caused the United States of America, such a great nation, to sink to the depths of turmoil and confusion that it finds itself in today? A country that was founded upon the ideals of freedom, justice and democracy, but that has increasingly lost its way and degraded these noble concepts – to the extent that the Statue of Liberty should really bow her head and reassemble her broken shackles, and let go her flaming torch. Those shackles should represent the ugly and imprisoning idea of the American Dream as it manifests in a highly commercialised and divided society, with such dire repercussions for the rest of the world. An idea that breeds more and more division, fear and injustice, and that has led successive American governments to arrogantly domineer other nations. An idea that continues to debase the goodwill of ordinary Americans and push the entire country towards catastrophe, unless it dramatically changes course with all humility and a sense of urgency.

Russia is geopolitical enemy No. 1. Not for wrongdoing. Or posing an existential threat. Or acting irresponsibly in any way.
For defending its sovereign independence responsibly. Lawfully. Wanting other nations respecting it. Believing rule of law principles are inviolable.
For Vladimir Putin, Sergey Lavrov and other officials telling it like it is. Expressing important views candidly, forthrightly and unambiguously.
Polar opposite duplicitous Western politicians. Especially Obama. A caricature of a leader.
Arguably America's worst ever. A serial liar. A moral coward. A war criminal multiple times over. A shameless head of state. A deplorable one. A dangerous one. A lawless one. A ruthless one.

Count the ways. Institutionalized racism is official Israeli policy. Arab lives are cheap. They don't matter. They're considered subhumans.
Gaza is the world's largest open-air prison. Lockdown harshness prevails. Militarized occupation remains ongoing. Forty-seven years and counting. Ruthless and then some.
Civil law governs Israelis. Military orders control virtually all aspects of Palestinians' lives. Depriving them of fundamental rights.
Persecuting, brutalizing and terrorizing them. Languishing thousands in Israel's gulag. Politically held lawlessly.
in one of the world's harshest prison systems. Cruel and barbaric by any standard.

Ukraine's so-called government is a US-installed fascist dictatorship. It has no legitimacy whatever.
Tyranny masquerades as democracy. None exists. Ordinary people have no say. Like in America.
Monied interests run things in both countries. One fascist regime supports another.
Sunday's snap parliamentary elections were farcical. Expect worse than ever business as usual going forward. Sergey Lavrov is a world class diplomat. He combines candor and statesmanship with tactfulness, discretion, thoughtfulness and prudence.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg absurdly calls Afghanistan an Alliance success story.
As ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) "completes" its "mission at the end of this year."
"This unprecedented international effort has contributed to a better future for Afghan men, women and children," Stoltenberg claims. "And it has enhanced global security."
Disaster more accurately describes things. Conditions are horrific. Perhaps worse than ever. A testimony to US-led NATO high crimes against peace.
Afghanistan's new puppet government agreed to let around 10,000 US troops remain indefinitely.
Immune from Afghan laws. Free to rampage with impunity. On the pretext of serving in an advisory capacity.

Pentagon commanders initiated it. A duplicitous 2015 50th anniversary commemoration. Honoring one of history's greatest crimes.
Turning truth on its head. Orwell explained saying "(h)e who controls the past control the future. He who controls the present controls the past."
A Pentagon web site headlines "The United State of America Vietnam War Commemoration." Pentagon commanders glorify what demands condemnation.
Providing "the American public with (so-called) historically accurate materials and interactive experiences that will help Americans better understand and appreciate the service of our Vietnam War veterans and the history of US involvement in the Vietnam War."

Obama reacted as expected. He "congratulated the people of Ukraine on holding successful parliamentary elections…"
He "commend(ed)" its government. The same illegitimate fascist putschist one he installed. He lied claiming its electoral process was "largely in line with international standards."
Russia bashing Big Lies followed, saying:
"it is clear that (its) authorities occupying Crimea and Russian-backed separatists in parts of eastern Ukraine prevented many Ukrainian citizens from exercising their democratic rights to participate in national elections and cast their votes."

MSM scoundrels suppress what people most need to know. So do right-wing think tanks. Shameless rubbish substitutes.
The New York Times is America's unofficial propaganda ministry. Featuring managed news misinformation Big Lies.
Treating readers like mushrooms. Well watered. In the dark. Unaware of what most affects them.
It's longstanding Times practice. Vilifying governments Washington opposes. Supporting despotic US allies. Brazenly justifying the unjustifiable. Cheerleading war. Backing the worst of US imperial lawlessness. Supporting US-led NATO's killing machine.

The United Nations has just issued a report, 'Why Children's Protection from Violence should be at the Heart of the Post-2015 Development Agenda' srsg.violenceagainstchildren.org This is a worthy ideal.
Unfortunately, the UN Report does not identify the fundamental cause of violence. Hence, its recommendations, which obviously cannot and do not include addressing this cause, are effectively useless and this report will have as much impact as previous official attempts to reduce violence in our world. Given that human violence now has us on the brink of precipitating our own extinction, it is time we faced the truth and responded meaningfully to it.

A senior prosecutor investigating the MH17 shoot down for the Dutch Prosecutors office, Fred Westerbeke, offered up as many questions as he did answers in an interview with SpiegelOnline yesterday. He's open to the possibility that another plane shot down MH17 and welcomed Russian evidence in that regard. He indicated a less than forthcoming attitude on the part of the Germans when he commented on the new German intelligence (the BND) leak that absolved Russia of any involvement shoot down but blamed "pro Russian militias." Like the Germans, according to Westerbeke, it appears that the United States Obama administration has yet to supply its alleged satellite image evidence supporting the claims that pro Russian militia forces brought down MH17. SpiegelOnline headlined the interview:
Chief MH17 Investigator on German Claims: 'We Will Need Evidence'
Interview by Rainer Leurs
Reuters headline was more to the point:
MH17 prosecutor open to theory another plane shot down airliner: Der Spiegel, Reuters, Oct 27
