Israel wants walls, not peace. Stopthewall.org calls its walls “an integral part of the Zionist project to remove Palestinians from Palestine” - continuing decades of ethnic cleansing.
The organization calls for dismantling what’s been built, halting future construction, returning confiscated lands to their rightful owners, and fully compensating them for damages and lost income.
Israel is the only nation without declared borders, the only one surrounding itself with walls - built to steal land and enforce repression, not for security as claimed.
Palestinian communities are encircled, isolated from each other. Landowners and residents in areas between the wall and so-called Green Line (the Seam Zone) need permits to access their homes and farmland.

The CIA represents America’s dark side, an agency incompatible with peace, equity and justice - neocon Pompeo the latest in a long line of rogue directors.
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, he hyped a nonexistent North Korea threat, a nation that hasn’t preemptively attacked another country throughout its entire post-WW II history.
It threatens none now, not its neighbors or America - despite fear-mongering claims otherwise by Trump, other administration officials, congressional members, media scoundrels and Pompeo, part of his mandate as CIA head, along with directing all its other dirty tricks, aimed at advancing America’s imperium at the expense of world peace and stability.

The neocon Washington Post is a CIA house organ, putting out its message, supporting its ruthless practices, including decades of toppling independent leaders, replacing them with US-controlled puppets.
Venezuela is in the eye of the storm, CIA-orchestrated street violence ongoing for months, along with US political and economic war, creating enormous hardships for ordinary people.
WaPo falsely and maliciously called democratic governance under Maduro “repressive and irrational.”
It lied about its democratically elected Constituent Assembly - tasked with revising or rewriting Venezuela’s constitution, aiming to restore order and preserve Bolivarian social democracy - WaPo disgracefully calling it “Maduro’s latest power grab.”
It labeled democracy in action “a phony election to install a new, rubber-stamp legislature, accompanied by a crackdown on domestic opponents.”
It cited the so-called Lima Declaration, signed by most regional countries plus Canada, all subservient to Washington, hostile to Venezuelan social democracy, an affront to its people, stepping up unacceptable pressure on the country.

The U.S. press don’t report this fact, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. The following will document its truth, by recent prominent examples, and will explain how and why this rampant lying by the government and press is done.
The lies are usually about the most important policies and actions of the United States government regarding international relations — foreign policy matters, such as wars, treaties, and economic sanctions. In the past, they were lies about matters such as that North Vietnam had attacked the USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, and that Chile’s President Salvador Allende opposed democracy, and that Iraq’s President Saddam Hussein was “six months away from developing a [nuclear] weapon,” and that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “conquest of land” regarding Crimea had happened and is the basic reason for the economic sanctions the U.S. has placed against Russia.

The tumultuous events that dominate international news today cannot be accurately understood outside of their underlying context, which connects them together, into a broader narrative — the actual history of our time. History makes sense, even if news-reports about these events don’t. Propagandistic motivations cause such essential facts to be reported little (if at all) in the news, so that the most important matters for the public to know, get left out of news-accounts about those international events.
The purpose here will be to provide that context, for our time.
First, this essential background will be summarized; then, it will be documented (via the links that will be provided here), up till the present moment — the current news:

Media scoundrels operate as mouthpieces for power, featuring disinformation, Big Lies and fake news on issues mattering most.
Supporting all US wars of aggression and others planned, they vilify nations America opposes, manipulating people to support war, along with scaring the bejesus out of them irresponsibly.
Citing August 9 and 10 Public Policy Polling data, Axios reported 82% of Americans fear nuclear war with North Korea - media scoundrels manipulating their minds by daily reports, vilifying the DPRK, highlighting its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Reports don’t explain why these programs exist. Pyongyang legitimately fears US aggression, wanting them as possible deterrents, defenseless without them.

Unlike Russia’s noninterference in the elections of any country, America does it all the time, wanting pro-Western officials elected, not independent ones it doesn’t control.
William Blum’s research revealed Washington’s deplorable history, horrendous enough to make garden variety despots blush. Since WW II ended, its rap sheet:
“Attempted to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments, most of which were democratically-elected.”Terror-bombed “more than 30 countries.”“Attempted to assassinate more than 50 foreign leaders.”
“Attempted to suppress a populist or nationalist movement in 20 countries.”
“Grossly interfered in democratic elections in at least 30 countries.”

On Friday, Trump pressed China’s Xi Jinping to act tough against North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
They’re essential deterrents against feared US aggression, posing no threat to any nations except in self-defense if attacked.
On Saturday, the White House announced plans to investigate Beijing for alleged intellectual property violations. On Monday, Trump is expected to sign a memo authorizing it. Severe trade penalties could follow, including tariffs on Chinese steel and other imports. Although the Constitution grants Congress tariff-imposition authority, congressional legislation delegates the power to presidents under the following circumstances:
• under the 1917 Trading with the Enemy Act against any nation as long as America is at war somewhere;
• under the 1977 Emergency Economic Powers Act – during a real or invented national emergency; no legitimate one existed in America since WW II ended;

“Netanyahu: Hitler didn't want to exterminate Jews”
RT published Oct 21, 2015
Netanyahu (0:25-): “Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time [28 November 1941]; he wanted to expel the Jews.”
This statement by Israel’s Prime Minister is profoundly false; the record is clear on this matter: Hitler merely played along with Hjalmar Schacht and others who favored expulsion of Jews in preference to annihilating them; Nazis who expected all Jews ultimately to leave Germany were a significant part of Hitler’s constituency, and Hitler wanted their full cooperation at least until the “final solution” was beyond being any longer denied; he needed the services of all Nazis and of all Nazi-supporters, until he was ready to spring his trap (the extermination-program for Jews).
Here is how I had discussed this matter, on pages 218-219 of my 2000 book Why the Holocaust Happened:
The consensus with which he started was only for the elimination of the Jews, which could mean either expulsion or extermination. (Sterilizing the Jews was ruled out by Hitler: as an alternative to extermination, it might have drawn too much support.) Expulsion obviously had to be presented as having been tried but failed; only then could the entire hierarchy unite behind Hitler’s plan to carry out God’s “admonition finally to put an end to the permanently continuous original sin of a race poisoning and to give the Almighty Creator beings as He Himself created them.” Mere expulsion could provide no such assurance. But a display nonetheless had to be made.

Heated rhetoric risks something much more serious. The problem lies in Washington, not Pyongyang.
Throughout its post-WW II history, the DPRK never attacked another country. In June 1950, it responded to repeated South Korean cross-border provocations.
Harry Truman’s devastating war followed - why Pyongyang genuinely fears US aggression now, doing what it thinks best to avoid it, the reason for its nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Without them, it would be defenseless. With them, it’s a regional power to be reckoned with.
