Public Like A Frog: "Where all are guilty, no one is"

November 11th, 2010

by Phil Rockstroh

Once again, partisan Democrats are reeling in shock and humiliation, boggled by a familiar scenario -- the sheer velocity of their reversal of fortune and the Republican right's perennial ascendency. Democrats implore, why is it voters occupying less than privileged positions in the economic order evince such ardor embracing the principles of a political creed dedicated to their exploitation for the benefit of a ruthless few?

There is truth in the one-liner that Democrats bandy: Anyone from the working or middle class who votes Republican is suffering from Battered Wife Syndrome. Although one is tempted to retort, anyone who votes for either one of the corporate/National Security State parties is closer to a half-senile spinster who still believes her prince will come.

Zionism needs the Israeli Jews to feel frightened: Alan Hart

November 11th, 2010

Interview by Kourosh Ziabari

Alan Hart is an indispensable name in journalism. Unquestionably, he has been one of the most influential British journalists with an expertise in the Middle East affairs. A former BBC Panorama presenter, Hart was a close friend of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. During his fruitful career, Hart interviewed several prominent leaders including Saudi Arabia's King Faisal, Jordan's King Hussein and Egyptian Presidents Nasser and Sadat. He was a media correspondent for the Independent Television Network and has covered the Vietnam War and Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well. He is a vocal critic of Israel and its expansionistic policies and has repeatedly reprimanded the Arab leaders for their implicit complicity with Israel in its suppression of the Palestinian nation.

Alan Hart joined me in an exclusive, in-depth interview to explore the prospect of Israel-Palestinian conflict, the roots of Zionist lobby's influence over the U.S. Congress, the 9/11 conspiracy theories and the possibility of a U.S.-directed military strike against Iran.

THE BIG LIE REGARDING ECONOMIC RECOVERY

November 10th, 2010

Allen L Roland

The current unemployment rate remains the worse since the great Depression and will worsen. The broader measure of unemployment is 17% ~ which includes discouraged workers who have not found a job in six months as well as part time workers who want full time work. The reported gain of 151,000 payroll jobs in October was a big lie and obviously politically motivated whereas the perception of a recovery becomes far more important than the harsh reality of a deepening depression:

So much for the promise of truth and transparency with the Obama administration and nowhere is this more apparent than the recently released BLS unemployment figures.

Obama's Fake Muslim Outreach

November 10th, 2010

by Stephen Lendman

While slaughtering Muslims abroad, supporting Israeli's illegal occupation and genocidal Gaza siege, as well as waging domestic war on Islam, Reuters, on November 9, headlined, "Obama says US earnest, reaching out to Muslim world," saying:

From Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country, "President Barack Obama said Tuesday that Washington's effort to reach out to the Muslim world was earnest and would help improve security, although he acknowledged that there was still more work to do."

Obama and Jihad and how not to fight terrorism

November 10th, 2010

By Alan Hart

In Mumbai President Obama was asked by an Indian student for his “take or opinion on jihad”. He began his answer with the observation that “the phrase jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam and is subject to a lot of different interpretations.” In its report of the discussion, The New York Times noted that Obama “carefully avoided saying that he was opposed to jihad”. (I ask - How could he be opposed if he is aware of its two real and true meanings in Islam? The Greater jihad is the inner struggle for self-improvement to become a good Muslim. The Lesser jihad is struggle against oppression - oppression as in Israel’s occupation and treatment of the Palestinians, for example).

THE ZOMBIE INTERNET, TIME TO FLUSH THE SEWAGE

November 10th, 2010

By Gordon Duff

PULLING THE PLUG MIGHT BE A FAVOR

The internet is not a reliable place for information, in fact, it can be almost as bad as television or a college education. The internet has also become more dangerous than most guess. The internet now breeds zombies, yes, the brain eating, stench ridden living dead. Perhaps this is the internet’s highest purpose.

Years ago, it was “Nigerian scams” and identity theft. Two decades of progress has made all but the dumbest clucks unwilling to put their financial lives on a “spoof” website from a bank they never heard of or to send their life savings to finance the delivery of lottery winnings.

Shin Bet Mistreatment of Palestinian Detainees

November 10th, 2010

by Stephen Lendman

An October B'Tselem/HaMoked, Center of the Defence of the Individual report, titled "Kept in the Dark: Treatment of Palestinian Detainees in the Petach-Tikva Interrogation Facility of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet)" is discussed below. Though, in some respects, treatment over the years has changed, it remains harsh, abusive, and in violation of international law, prohibiting all forms of torture and mistreatment at all times, under all conditions, with no allowed exceptions.

The report is based on testimonies from 121 Palestinian detainees during Q 1 and Q 4, 2009. Clear patterns of mistreatment were revealed - torture and abuse by any standard, what Israel practices as official policy.

Tommy Tucci

Philadelphia, PA,,,,,,,,,,,,Updated "Dollar Plunges As Everyone Now Figures Return of Quantitative Easing Is A Done Deal" Posted by Business Insider. Sovereign States do not operate free market capitalism with corrupt systemic private bank barons charging interest on worthless fiat paper schemes, fraudulent mortgage conveyance, or QE-1 QE-2 monetizing debt by private gangbanksters. QE2 second installment Reverse Pyramid sham or conduit for instantaneous confiscation of Value, Wealth, Labor, Property, and Assets part two deception. WORLD FINANCIAL SYSTEM NOT SUSTAINABLE. "The U.S. financial system and the world has evolved on the Bank of England model is not sustainable. It creates nearly all money as debt. Such money only exists as long as someone is willing and able to pay interest on it. It disappears, wholly or partially, in recurring financial crises. Such a system requires that new debt must be created faster than principal and interest payments fall due on old debt ." Posted by John H. Hobson

Peace Held Hostage to Rotating US, Israeli Elections

November 10th, 2010

By Nicola Nasser*

The statement by former U.S. President George W. Bush in his 497 – page memoir of “Decision Points” that a secret peace deal was worked out between the then-prime minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert, and Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, which “we devised a process to turn .. into a public agreement” had not Olmert been ousted by a scandal to be replaced in the following elections by Binyamin Netanyahu, who reneged on his predecessor’s commitments, is a piece of history which highlights the fact that peace making in the Arab – Israeli conflict and the peace process have been hostages to the rotating U.S. and Israeli elections since the Madrid peace conference of 1991.

Of course Bush had a different point of view. In his Rose Garden speech on Israel – Palestine two-state solution on June 24, 2002, he said that “for too long .. the citizens of the Middle East” and “the hopes of many” have been held “hostage” to “the hatred of a few (and) the forces of extremism and terror,” a misjudgement that led his administration to strike a deal with the former Israeli premier, now comatose, Ariel Sharon to engineer a “regime change” in the self-ruled Palestinian Authority that resulted – according to Sharon’s terminology – in the “removal” of Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader who made peace possible in the first place for the first time in the past one hundred years and for that deserved to be a Nobel Peace Laureate, to be replaced by the incumbent Palestinian leadership of Abbas who, despite being almost identical of both men’s image of a peace maker, is again victimized by the same rotating U.S. and Israeli elections, much more than by what Bush termed as “forces of extremism and terror.”
