He played a major role in expanding NATO. Including outside Europe. Establishing new bases in Central Asia. Surrounding Russia with US military strength.
He calls the Russian Federation "more of an adversary than a partner." Vows "NATO enlargement will continue."
Merkel and Hollande for Peace in Ukraine: Hold the Cheers

On February 5, Tass headlined "France, Germany plan to work out new agreement on Ukrainian conflict settlement - Hollande." Merkel and Hollande are in Kiev on Thursday. So is John Kerry. Discussing escalated war, not peace.
Don't expect divergence from their NATO allies. Saying one thing. Pursuing another. More on this below. Tass quoted Hollande saying "(t)ogether with Angela Merket we have decided to take a new initiative."
"Later today in the afternoon, we will depart for Kiev, where we will make a new proposal on the conflict settlement bas(ed) on the territorial integrity of Ukraine."
Israeli Gaza War Crimes Investigation

Last August, Human Rights Council (HRC) President Baudelaire Ndong Ella announced the formation of an "independent, international commission of inquiry" into war crimes committed during Israel's Operation Protective Edge (OPE).
International human rights law expert Professor William Schabas was appointed to chair a three-person panel. His special focus is genocide.
On January 30, Israel's Geneva-based UN envoy, Eviator Manor, outrageously accused him of a "blatant conflict of interest."
A typical Israeli stunt. Demanded his immediate dismissal. Months earlier, Israel refused to cooperate with HRC's investigation. Outrageously called it a "kangaroo court" proceeding.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering sending more weapons to Ukraine — $3 billion worth. The Times reports: “Secretary of State John Kerry, who plans to visit Kiev on Thursday [Feb. 5], is open to new discussions about providing lethal assistance, as is Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, officials said.”
This follows Defense News reporting that this spring the United States will be sending troops to train the Ukrainian National Guard and commence the shipping of U.S.-funded armored vehicles. The funding for this is coming from the congressionally-authorized Global Security Contingency Fund, which was requested by the Obama administration in the fiscal year 2015 budget to help train and equip the armed forces of allies around the globe.

Liberals won’t acknowledge that they’ve “been had” by Barack Obama when they believed his liberal rhetoric; they won’t acknowledge it, even after Obama has proven by his actions that he is actually extremely conservative (a total agent of Wall Street; and, thus, inequality has been rising under his rule); Obama is conservative despite his liberal rhetoric, which is designed to deceive them; and he has — which is the worst thing of all — intentionally caused an extremely bloody ethnic cleansing in Ukraine, a war there against those of Ukraine’s citizens who think that Russia is a better country than the United States: an ethnic cleansing to cement-in, as permanent, a rabidly anti-Russian Government in Ukraine, by getting rid of the people there who had voted for the man Obama overthrew. This is, historically, the first time in history that any American President has sponsored an ethnic cleansing: it’s an attempt to exterminate a civilian population. That’s how bad Obama actually is.
Liberals won’t acknowledge either the violent coup in Ukraine, or the brutal ethnic-cleansing campaign to cement its result: an anti-Russian Government on Russia’s doorstep — a very real threat to Russia’s national security, and a very aggressive American policy against Russians.
Outrageous MSM Putin Bashing

Making unjustifiable accusations. Repeating them ad nauseam. Inventing new ones. Substituting Big Lies for hard truths.
Regurgitating Western propaganda. Accepting it as gospel. Including State Department daily disinformation briefings.
In Tuesday, spokeswoman Jen Psaki turned truth on its head raising "concern(s) about the (nonexistent) aggressive actions of Russia and Russian-backed separatists and the steps they're taking illegally in…Ukraine."
Why Ukraine Matters to Americans

On one level, Ukraine shouldn’t matter at all. The Obama administration and Congress have absolutely no business at all interfering in the internal politics and government of Ukraine. They have no business providing aid to civil society groups to promote democracy. Our rulers should be laser focused on critical issues like a dead economy, zombie banks, and climate changes that threaten the continuation of anything approaching normal life on earth. They’re not even close. Instead, this administration and many in the past waste our precious time and resources playing Monopoly with nation states and the entirety of their populations. Ask the Libyans and Syrians if you doubt this.
