Back from the Abyss

August 7th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

I've been ill and unable to do what I love best for 2 months. Yesterday, August 6, I came home for the first time since hospitalized on June 4.

At the time, I posted a brief message on my blog site. I expected a few days of treatment. Then home to resume my writing and media work.

Things didn't turn out that way. I owe my friends, colleagues and readers an explanation.

Multiple problems developed. One rather serious one. Thankfully they were resolved. But it took time - 2 weeks at Northwestern Memorial Hospital followed by 6 weeks at Warren Barr rehab facility.

The experience was life changing. I wondered at times if I'd ever be me again. I still have lots of recovery to go as an outpatient.

I worked very hard with good therapy people helping me daily. I'm deeply grateful to them for taking me from a very low point to going home yesterday.

Orange County CPS Is the Latest to Facilitate Molestation and “Disappearing” Children

August 7th, 2014

By Dave Hodges 07 Aug,201014

child sex rings the child

Former attorney, practicing psychotherapist and researcher, Susan Knowles, brought the case of Lexi Dillon to my attention in which the child’s mother brought sexual allegations against the father involving the girl. The evidence in support of the sexual abuse was overwhelming. However, Orange County CPS decided to take the child from the mother give her to the alleged abuser of the child.

The judge, in the case refused to allow any testimony in his courtroom from the experts who had examined young Lexi with regard to the sexual abuse charges. In fact this judge threatened the professional licenses of the witnesses who appeared to testify in juvenile court on behalf of the child and the mother.

The local police have conducted two investigations into the matter and have concluded that there was sexual abuse committed against Lexi. However, the judge keeps returning the girl to the alleged abuser. Amazingly, Lexi Dillon has gone missing while under the jurisdiction of the Orange County CPS.

The police have asked the District Attorney’ office to file charges. The District Attorney has, to date, refused to deal with this travesty in a timely fashion. This is typical of children who disappear into the CPS system, nationwide. Yes, I mean disappear. Lexi is missing and there is a growing fear that the girl is being trafficked out of the country, although this fact remains unconfirmed because it was brought to my attention by a source who desired anonymity.

The worst part of this case is that nobody in an official capacity is doing anything about this. Here is the contact information for the District Attorney along with the statutes that local police want filed as criminal charges against the father.

Rejecting the vomit of the government and corporate-stream media

August 7th, 2014

by Larry Pinkney

“Hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories.”
—Amilcar Cabral

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”
—Thomas Jefferson

Let us get one thing crystal clear: We in the the United States of America, do not live in an informed genuine people’s ‘democracy’ nor do we have a government or mass media that is honest and transparent that serves the needs, interests, and aspirations of everyday ordinary Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people.

It is time to cease being in denial and dispense with mythology.

How Can We Destroy Love?

August 6th, 2014

Robert J. Burrowes

"killing people, including children, is the intended and routine
outcome of their military violence"

Love is a serious problem in our world. There is too much of it. So I want to explain how we can destroy it systematically. If we can destroy love completely, we can destroy life on Earth.

But first, what is love?

In essence, love is a feeling. It is not something you experience as a thought, although a thought might arise from the feeling. Love precipitates a certain type of behavior. This might include showing someone that we care about them deeply. Often, it means taking action that demonstrates our love. Perhaps even that we are willing to make concessions or sacrifices for their benefit. Depending on the context, love might be accompanied by some companion feelings such as compassion, empathy and sympathy.

The problem with love is that it might incline us to act with genuine concern for others. In fact, we might act as if someone else or others in general are as important as are we. And if we did that, it would ruin our chances of getting as much as we can for ourselves at the expense of those around us.

A Moment of Truth has been Reached: Oust Obama or Face Thermonuclear Extinction

August 6th, 2014

Castle Bravo thermonuclear bomb test at Bikini Atoll in Pacific Ocean.
A moment of truth has been reached, where it is now absolutely urgent that President Barack Obama be removed from office. The alternative is a growing likelihood that the British, through their White House pawn, will unleash such a direct provocation against Russia that the outcome will be thermonuclear World War III and certain extinction. This is the only sane conclusion that can be reached in reviewing the developments of the past day.

Unwelcome Truths for Church and State Concerning the Bombing of Nagasaki August 9, 1945

August 6th, 2014

By Gary G. Kohls, MD

69 years ago an all-Christian bomber crew dropped “Fat Man”, a plutonium bomb, on Nagasaki, Japan, instantly annihilating tens of thousands of innocent civilians, a disproportionate number of them Japanese Christians, and permanently or mortally wounding uncountable numbers of others.

In 1945, the US was the most Christian nation in the world (that is, if you can label as Christian a nation whose churches overwhelmingly fail to sincerely teach or adhere to the ethics of Jesus as taught in the Sermon on the Mount).

Prior to the bomb exploding over St. Mary’s Urakami Cathedral on 11:02 AM, Nagasaki was the most Christian city in Japan. The Nagasaki cathedral was the largest Christian cathedral in the Orient.

Those baptized and confirmed Christian airmen, following their wartime orders to the letter, did their job efficiently, and they accomplished the mission with military pride, albeit with any number of near-fatal glitches. Most of us Americans in 1945 would have done exactly the same if they had been in the shoes of the Bock’s Car crew, and there would have been very little mental anguish later if we had also been treated as heroes.

ODE TO A DEAD PALESTINIAN CHILD

Palestinian Child killed by U.S. made Israeli Navy missile on Gaza beach

"If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country." - David Ben-Gurion (Polish born Israeli Statesman and Prime Minister (1948-53, 1955-63).

Ode to a Dead Palestinian Child

Yesterday you were playing with your cousins on this sandy Gaza beach.

You were playing soccer and you had just scored a goal with your makeshift cloth beach ball.

You knew there was danger on the beach but you could

not resist the beach and the cool ocean breeze.

Somehow you could not understand the war around you.

You could not comprehend the hatred of the Zionists toward your Palestinian brothers and sisters.

You could not comprehend the cruelty of your occupation by the Israelis.

A monitor for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) investigative team at the MH17 crash site observed clear signs of machine gun fire on the fuselage of MH17. He revealed this in a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) interview on July 29:

"There have been two or three pieces of fuselage that have been really pockmarked with almost looks like machine gun fire, very, very strong machine gun fire that has left these unique marks that we haven’t seen anywhere else. We have been asked, for example, have we seen any examples of missile. Well, no we haven’t. That’s the answer. And even if it was there, we don't have those trained eyes to pick that up but now there are experts here who would be able to." Michael Bociurkiw, Monitor, OSCE, CBC interview, July 29 Video
