Destabilizing Venezuela is longstanding US policy. Chavez denounced it many times. President Nicolas Maduro does now.
After his April 2013 election, he accused opposition candidate Henrique Capriles of coup plotting against him.
"Preparations are under way for an attempt to de-recognize democratic institutions," he said.
Dark forces never quit. Washington prioritizes regime change. Venezuela is a prime target.
At the time, Maduro accused US embassy officials of plotting "acts of violence." He expelled two Obama military attaches.
He accused another embassy employee of plotting sabotage against Venezuela's electrical grid.
"I will use a hard hand against fascism and intolerance," he said. "I declare it. If they want to overthrow me, come and get me."

McMillan was sexually assaulted, beaten unconscious and into seizures by NY Police, but the city is charging her with felony assault over the incident.
Occupy participant Cecily McMillan is being prosecuted for felony police assault and may face up to 7 years in prison. In reality, it is the NYPD that should be on trial for their assault on McMillan. The trial has already been delayed because of the credibility of the arresting officer, however, New York City should review the case and drop all charges against McMillan.
On the Sixth anniversary of Occupy Wall Street Cecily McMillan arrived at midnight to Zuccotti Park to meet some friends and go out to celebrate her birthday. Instead, she would find herself unconscious, in seizures and badly bruised.
McMillan was not in Zuccotti to protest, but she arrived as the police began to violently break up the crowd. She felt someone grab her right breast she involuntarily swung her elbow around and hit the offender in the face. It turned out to be an undercover police officer, Grantley Bovell. She was violently arrested, knocked to the ground, unconscious and began suffering seizures while she was handcuffed. It would be 15 to 20 minutes before an ambulance arrived. Photos of McMillan show bruises from fingers that grabbed her breast, a swollen eye and other bruises.

Neocons infest his administration. They want Assad forcibly ousted. Manipulated to fail diplomacy may be pretext to do it.
Two rounds of Geneva talks deadlocked. Expect no change going forward. US strategy call for regime change. It's comin the old-fashioned way. Toppling Assad violently is planned.
On February 17, the Syrian Free Press Network (SFPN) headlined "RED ALERT: American, Israeli and British intelligences services in Jordan, NOW, are planning an attack, with (so-called) 'moderate' Takfiris, to create a mini-state in south Syria."
On Friday, so-called "interim government" defense minister Asaad Mustafa resigned. Allegedly it was over internal disputes.
As the same time, so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) head Salim Idris was fired. Abdel Alah al-Bashir replaced him.

Washington manipulated Syrian peace talks deadlock. Obama abhors peace. He wants war. He didn't launch it to quit.
He wants Assad forcibly ousted. Ending conflict defeats his objective. It continues. Two rounds of peace talk pretense accomplished nothing. They ended as expected.
What's next remains to be seen. UN/Arab League Syrian intermediary Lakhdar Brahimi represents Washington.
He did little to prevent deadlock. His apology rang hollow, saying:
"I am very, very sorry, and I apologize to the Syrian people...(W)e haven't helped them very much."
Second round talks were "as laborious as all the meetings we have had, but we agreed on an agenda for the next round when it does take place."

First Amendment rights matter most. Without them all other freedoms are at risk. Post-9/11 policies threaten them.
Bush waged war against them. Obama escalated it. He promised transparency, accountability and reform. He called whistleblowing "acts of courage and patriotism." He said one thing. He did another.
Press freedoms are endangered. An October Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) report discussed Obama and the press.
Journalists say he's waging war on dissent. He exceeds the worst of George Bush. He's heading America on a fast track to tyranny.
He wants information people have a right to know suppressed. He evades press scrutiny. He aggressively targets leakers.
Anyone suspected of disclosing information he wants concealed is vulnerable. Press freedom is gravely threatened.

Thousands of political prisoners languish in America's gulag. It's by far the world's largest. It's one of the most ruthless.
Injustice is longstanding US policy. Political targets are guilty by accusation. Long prison terms are commonplace. Rogue states operate this way. America is by far the worst.
Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko is one of many innocent victims. Obama's Justice Department claimed:
He's "an aircraft pilot and aviation expert who transported thousand-kilogram quantities of cocaine throughout South America, Africa, and Europe."
"In his capacity as a pilot and businessman, (he) agreed to supply the aircraft, pilots, and crew that were to be used for shipments of cocaine from South America to Liberia, as well as from Liberia to other locations within West Africa."
He "understood that from Liberia, portions of this cocaine would subsequently be imported into the United States."

NYT policy is consistent. It's longstanding. It's deplorable. It's opposite of what readers deserve.
All news and opinions Times editors call fit to print aren't fit to read. Editorial policy endorses establishment values.
Truth and full disclosure are prohibited. They're sacrificed on the alter of wealth, power and privilege. Wrong over right is supported. Scoundrels get feature op-ed space.
Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz al Saud is Saudi Arabia's UK ambassador. He's a royal House of Saud member.
He's part of one of the world's most repressive regimes. Last December, Times editors gave him featured op-ed space.
He took full advantage. His notion of peaceful conflict resolution is preventing it. He wants Syria's government forcefully toppled.

Have you ever watched any of the Alien series on TV? Lost Girl, Being Human and Bitten are all Canadian based supernatural “original’ scripts. [1] Lost Girl is about humanoids called "Fae" who clandestinely live among and feed on us humans. The Government of Canada and the Canadian cable industry participated in the production with Canada and Ontario Film Tax Credits.
Why do I emphasize the Canadian connection? Because former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyer, who had access to highly classified information during the height of the cold war, has very recently (February 3, 2014) put himself in the spotlight by speaking about extraterrestrials on Russia Today’s program SophieCo. You can be sure Hellyer is a disinformation agent because he is telling Sophie’s viewers that the aliens are sitting around a STAR-bucks on their planet wondering why “we humans fight each other and spend our money with these exotic thermonuclear weapons and atomic weapons, instead of feeding the poor and looking after the homeless and the sick.”
But, remember there is information in dis-information. When Hellyer declares “[I’ve] been getting from various sources [that] there are about 80 different species and some of them look just like us and they could walk down the street and you wouldn’t know if you walked past one,” I realize he’s talking about what I refer to as the Sandy Hook Conspiracy Paradox.
As with most conspiracies, the problem with believing a Sandy Hook type of conspiracy is that we don’t have any cognitive frames of reference or explanations to understand them.
The Sandy Hook massacre, allegedly the worst school shooting in U.S. history, was staged by FEMA with crisis actors and made to look like a joint government-media operation false flag event. Furthermore, Adam Lanza, a scrawny, socially awkward 20-year old mind controlled patsy, could not have shot 20 innocent children (and 6 adults) at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in less than 5 minutes, with an assault rifle (still in the trunk of his car) and handguns that his cheerful, self-reliant mother purchased for self-defense and target shooting, because (I repeat, he could not have shot anyone anywhere on December 14) because, according to the Social Security Death index, Lanza died the day before on December 13.
Our rational brains are trying to hold two thoughts that can't be resolved. Although it's statistically improbable that all of the anomalies and inconsistencies surrounding Sandy Hook are just a series of chance occurrences; at the same time, a belief in a conspiracy involving the CIA, FBI, police departments in two cities, the coroners office, crisis actors, FEMA, Homeland Security, and the Newtown Bee, is a Paradox because someone would have come forward and buzzed the real truth about what really happened.
“80 different species and some of them look just like us” is the key to solving the paradox.
All of the people involved in Sandy Hook: the CIA, FBI, police departments in two cities, the coroners office, crisis actors, FEMA, Homeland Security, and the Newtown Bee, are a species of aliens, and “some of them look just like us,” that live in an alternate reality that we can't see or understand because we don’t have the right sunglasses.

Ongoing street violence isn’t happenstance. It didn’t erupt spontaneously. Dark forces planned it. On Friday it continued. More on this below.
Washington's dirty hands are involved. Longstanding US plans call for regime change.
Obama deplores democracy. He tolerates none at home or abroad. He wants Bolivarianism crushed. He wants social justice ended.
He wants pro-Western puppet governance replacing sovereign Venezuelan independence. He wants control of Venezuela's vast oil reserves.
On Thursday, President Nicolas Maduro blamed fascists for stoking violence. "The violent events on Wednesday had only one political intention," he said.
Anti-Bolivarian extremists "want to defeat a legitimate government, protected by legitimacy and constitutionality."

Syrians genuinely want peace. Washington wants regime change. SNC stooges represent US interests.
In January, talks convened in Geneva. Round one failed. So did round two. On February 14, UN/Arab League Syrian envoy Lakhdar Brahimi said:
"Failure is always staring us in the face. As far as the United Nations is concerned, we will certainly not leave one stone unturned if there is a possibility to move forward."
How can there be when Syrians have no legitimate peace partner? Opposition delegates want transitional government discussed.
Demanding Assad must go deadlocks talks. Syrians alone will decide who'll lead them. On Friday, opposition negotiator Ahmad Jakal said:
"Brahimi told us the talks will continue and there will be a third round, but he did not set a date." Current talks may extend into Saturday.
