On May 6, headlines cheered the new jobs report, New York Times writer Motoko Rich headlining, "Payrolls Show Strong Growth but Jobless Rate Rises," saying:
"For three straight months, the nation's employers have delivered solid job growth, easing some concerns that the economy could be slowing."
Bloomberg.com's Timothy Homan said:
At 244,000, "American employers in April added more jobs than forecast....indicating the world's largest economy is weathering the impact of higher fuel prices."
False Flags: An American Tradition

Wikipedia defines false or black flags as "covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities."
They're "big lies," defined by Merriam-Webster as "deliberate gross distortion(s) of the truth used especially as a propaganda tactic."
America's decade from September 11, 2001 to May 1, 2011 was punctuated by the (big) lie of our time and (big) lie of the moment.

911 is without a doubt the most written about, analyzed and discussed conspiracy in the history of mankind.

“Conspiracy” is a REAL word for a REAL act that has existed in human societies in all cultures throughout human history. If conspiracies did not exist, we would not have a word for it. The problem that we face today is that the US Government has arrogated to itself a singular role as a political pontificate that believes that it and its agents in the Justice Department, alone, constitute the only “person” (corporate person) on this Earth who is allowed to use the word “conspiracy” as it employs the charge of “conspiracy” every week in trials to put both guilty and innocent people in jail while deriding and discrediting all others who employ the word as “conspiracy theorists.” Paris Flammonde [2q]

Option 2 - The damage to the surrounding structures could never have been caused by Thermite/thermate/superthermate which may explain why on September 18, 2010 the CIA admitted “we cannot blame the highly unconventional Ground Zero devastation on ‘controlled demolition’ any more than we can blame it on “jet fuel” or “box cutters.” Inexplicably, in the same breath, the CIA goes on to Muddle Up (an advanced cover up) and blames the “collapse” on a DEW or a mini-nuke.
Option 3 - Line of sight. If the DEW was fired at WTC 7 from ground level that would explain why WTC 3, 4, 5, 6 and the Bankers Trust would be in the line of sight and the Verizon building and the US post office would not. [8q]

Highlighting aspects of the report, GRAIN states:

Question 3. Why was The 2001 Invasion of Iraq called off 5 hours after the 2nd tower was destroyed? The USS Carl Vinson was in the Persian Gulf with orders to invade Iraq. Logic would dictate the invasion would go forward when the buildings were destroyed and not be called off. [10b]
Option 1 - Even though the terrorists were all from Saudi Arabia, they were worried the U.S. would retaliate and invade Iraq. The terrorists were also concerned the U.S. might even claim Sadaam had WMDs and a connection to 9/11. So they hacked the White House secure line to the Carl Vinson and called the invasion off 5 hours after the second tower collapsed (and turned largely to dust).
Option 2 - On 9/11, Bush traveling on Air Force One going to?Washington D.C. on when he received a phone call from some highly-placed moles within the administration that threatened “Angel is next” (Angel is the codeword for Air Force One) unless you call off the invasion of Iraq.
Option 3 - The Military Industrial Complex does not have the authority to issue an order to stand down, only the president or the Joint Chiefs of Staff can do such an abominable thing (of course they did it 18 months later, but that’s another story).
Option 4 - 10:28:31 a.m. When the Earth was declared the winner and the Arm Wrestling table leg of the North Tower collapsed, TPTB were defeated and therefore the invasion of the cradle of civilization and the start of a New World Order was called off. And if you need more proof TPTB accepted defeat, what did George W. Bush tell us do on 9/12? Answer: “Go Shopping.”

Mutually Assured Terror: 'America's' New Day of Distraction, Bloodshed and Hypocrisy

Unfortunately, when it comes to many 'Americans,' virtually any corporate-government/military distraction will suffice to keep this nation from owning up to its own self-induced policies of hypocrisy and endless bloodshed, and reversing them.
Today's Orwellian and fascistic policies at home, combined with corporate/military machismo abroad, bring unrestrained, ahistorical, and blind cries of euphoria from those in this country who utterly fail to understand that sooner or later only the everyday people of this nation can save 'America' from itself. The corporate-stream media, following the direction of this corporate/military government, has only to feverishly beat the drums of war and far too many follow in a politically drunken stupor as if they are uni-dimensional characters in some 21st century horror story.

In late April, Fatah and Hamas announced a reconciliation draft agreement, including a transitional government and planned presidential and legislative elections within a year.
It signaled hope for rapprochement between the two sides, as well as better prospects for Palestinian independence within 1967 borders, UN membership, achieving peace, and ending Israel's 44 year occupation. However, fulfillment faces long odds without strong Western backing, unlikely to surface given determined Israeli and Washington pressure to subvert it.
