Rifts grow within Israeli leadership as Gantz visits U.S. | Cracks are further widening within the Israeli wartime leadership throwing a spotlight on the regime’s failed policy toward the war on Gaza. ● Israeli war cabinet member Benny Gantz is visiting the United States and holding talks with U.S. officials in defiance of the regime’s premier. Reports suggest that Benjamin Netanyahu has blown the fuse because Gantz is holding meetings with Americans without his approval.
Transportation Minister Miri Regev, a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party, has made a blistering attack on Gantz, accusing him of acting “subversively” against the Israeli cabinet with his U.S. visit. ● Israeli Regional Cooperation Minister Dudi Amsalem also accused Gantz of acting like a “Trojan horse”. ● Gantz joined Netanyahu’s coalition after Hamas’ October 7 attack inside Israel which was followed by the regime’s brutal onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
