NATO leaders would rather not know if their allies were involved, the newspaper’s sources said | Western officials would rather not know who bombed the Nord Stream pipelines, lest they discover that their allies were responsible, the Washington Post reported on Monday. The report listed Polish and Ukrainian operatives as likely perpetrators, but left out one key suspect. ● “Don’t talk about Nord Stream” is now an unwritten rule at gatherings of European and NATO policy-makers, an unnamed European diplomat told the newspaper. “Leaders see little benefit from digging too deeply and finding an uncomfortable answer,” the Post added, stating that officials “would rather not have to deal with the possibility that Ukraine or its allies were involved.” “It’s like a corpse at a family gathering,” the diplomat continued, explaining that while everyone can see the metaphorical body, they pretend it’s not there. “It’s better not to know,” the source said.
Prices for a barrel of oil jumped 7 to 8% last night in pre-market trading, after OPEC+ announced a reduction in oil production of about 1.1 Million barrels per day. | As this story is written, 10:04 AM EDT on April 3, 2023, The West Texas Intermediate contract jumped 5.74% to $80.01 a barrel, while Brent jumped 5.67% to $84.42. This will translate into higher prices at the gasoline pump for cars and the diesel pump for trucks, which then causes a rise in consumer prices for everything that has to move by truck. This type of demand inflation cannot be halted by central banks raising interest rates. NEW PRICING MECHANISM – More shockingly, the top oil producers in Russia and in India agreed to change the market pricing mechanism they use to price oil transactions. The largest oil producer in Russia and India's top refiner have agreed to adopt the Asia-focused Dubai oil price benchmark. They have abandoned the Europe-dominated Brent benchmark. The signals are changing. This will make it much easier for countries to buy oil WITHOUT USING THE U.S. DOLLAR! That's huge. They just told the US / Eurotrash to FOAD. (F*ck-Off and Die) Basically, they're sizzling the West' bacon and there's nothing [the U.S.] can do about it short of war.
Threatens to DEFUND FBI, DOJ for election interference | House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan threatened Sunday to defund any government agencies that engage in election interference, charging that both the FBI and the DOJ have done exactly that in their constant attempts to go after President Trump. Appearing on Fox News, Jordan stated “The key is to get the facts on the table. We’re doing that with all kinds of issues where we think agencies have been turned against the very American people they’re supposed to serve.” “So you get the facts on the table, and then you look at legislation,” Jordan continued, adding “Our job is we’re legislators. Our job is to pass legislation, write laws and pass legislation. So we’ll look at that.” “We control the power of the purse, and that’s — we’re going to have to look at the appropriations process and limit funds going to some of these agencies, particularly the ones engaged in the most egregious behavior,” Jordan asserted.
Descent into Hell: Europe’s top diplomats are nearly at the journey’s end | On Friday, 31 March Vladimir Putin signed into law the new Foreign Policy Concept which will guide Russian diplomacy in the years to come. It replaces the existing Concept promulgated eight years ago and sets out on 43 pages in logically organized form what we have been witnessing in Russia’s behavior on the world stage since the launch of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine and subsequent nearly complete rupture of relations with the US-led Collective West. There are few surprises in this document though there are some very important new directions taken over from the USSR which I will tweak out in a separate essay later today or tomorrow. ● What I wish to call attention to here is how Russia’s new Foreign Policy Concept was greeted by the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and by an unidentified spokesman for the United Kingdom’s Foreign Office. The UK spokesperson wrote: “April Fool’s Day tomorrow” with specific mention of the document released by the Russians. I have in front of me the respective news item in The Eastern Herald (India). Borrell, who is not known for originality, picked up this convenient insult and used it to remark on another Russia-related development of the same day. He wrote: “Russia taking over today @UN Security Council presidency is fitting for April Fool’s day.” ● When diplomacy degenerates into crude insults as the UK and EU showed yesterday, we are well on our way to total war. Our foreign policy is being conducted by intellectually challenged people who have had a bad upbringing, sad to say. The path before us is what the French call la déscente aux enfers. Whether we will emerge into a second life through Resurrection after hitting bottom depends on your religious beliefs.

Another one? Are these derails being done on purpose, to destroy the US from within and hasten the arrival of the Great Reset | Train derails 25 cars in Montana, spilling unconfirmed contents into body of water | 2 April 2023 | At least 25 cars derailed from a train in Montana on Sunday, spilling their contents onto the ground and into a nearby body of water. First responders say there is no threat to the public [?!], but there has yet to be confirmation about what the affected containers were carrying. Montana Rail Link, which owns the railroad, is aware of the situation, but the company that owns the train has yet to be identified, according to NBC Montana. The Sanders County Sheriff's Office did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Fox News Digital. [How can they be sure there's no threat to the public if they don't know "what the affected containers were carrying?"]

The former US President is reportedly being accused of at least one felony | The indictment against former US President Donald Trump over his alleged role in paying hush money to a porn actress includes at least one criminal charge, Associated Press reported on Friday, citing two “people familiar with the matter.” According to the agency's sources, Trump – the first current or former US president to be indicted – is facing several charges of falsifying business records, including a felony offense. However, they declined to reveal the exact contents of the indictment, which so far remain sealed. ● Earlier, CNN reported that Trump was facing more than 30 charges in the indictment, which will be formally unsealed once he is arraigned. The procedure is expected to take place in the Manhattan criminal court on Tuesday. According to AP sources, the former president is expected to travel to New York on Monday and stay at Trump Tower overnight before he appears in court. After the planned arraignment, he will be fingerprinted and photographed. It is unclear whether Trump, who as a former president is protected by the US Secret Service, will be handcuffed. ● Trump was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday over an alleged scheme to pay $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, an adult film actress who claimed she had an affair with the ex-president, via his then-lawyer Michael Cohen in 2016. The scheme was meant to stop Daniels from going public about the sexual encounter, which Trump denies ever took place. The alleged hush money payment, which is not illegal in itself, was later reimbursed by Trump to Cohen and recorded as legal expenses, according to the prosecution. This potentially opens the ex-president to further allegations of falsifying business records, which could amount to a crime in New York.

Ukraine biolabs are creating highly infectious mRNA viruses that are fueling global pandemics and killing millions of global civilians. Why is the United States funding Ukraine's biowarfare programs? | March 21, 2023: Over one year ago, on March 11, 2022, REUTERS reported that, “The World Health Organization advised Ukraine to destroy high-threat pathogens housed in the country's public health laboratories to prevent "any potential spills" that would spread disease among the population.” This 2022 REUTERS article confirms the findings of the Russian biowarfare investigation, conducted by Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Military Chief of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops, that the Ukraine has been creating highly-infections pathogens (mRNA viruses) to target citizens of Russia, as well as to create global pandemics. The big question is, “Why is the United States supporting a country that has been creating bioweapons for use on global civilians? Shouldn’t the United States be supporting Russia, the nation that is trying to seize and destroy the bioweapons that are being used on global civilians?”

Мария Захарова | I would like to keep adding documents to our column about the crimes perpetrated by the Anglo-Saxons as well as their allies across the world. Today we are talking about the loss of the material historical heritage of Iraq during the aggression of the U.S.-led coalition. After the capture of Baghdad by U.S. troops on April 9, 2003, in the city, looting and pillaging began en masse, including the main attractions of the capital. The footage then went around the world. Numerous cases and attempts to smuggle antiquities by the U.S. military have been documented. A great number of artifacts were taken out throughout the occupation period. Mostly by direct looting by coalition soldiers and officers in the line of duty. Including by order of the specialized structures, as well as private collectors in the United States. According to D. Russell, who served in 2003-2004 as cultural advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority (occupation administration) in Iraq, "tens of thousands of antiquities from Iraq were openly sold in the U.S. market," and not a single known case that the law enforcement agencies were interested. The looting of archaeological sites and the looting of museums and libraries by the local population is a serious type of crime that destroys historical memory irrevocably. The blame for this lies entirely with the occupation authorities. (Translation with: DeepL.com)
The usual suspects took to Twitter to air their grievances after the controversial new darling of the America First movement was interviewed by CBS’ flagship news program. | Prominent liberal media personalities came crawling out of the woodwork Friday to denounce the CBS program 60 Minutes after the show’s Twitter account teased an upcoming interview with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). That decision didn’t sit well with a number of liberal critics, thousands of whom shared horrified responses following the Tweet. Arguably the most prominent figure to condemn the network was former GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger, who posted, simply "Wow. Insane that 60 min would do this." Kinzinger was voted out of office in 2022 and has since been reduced to working as a political commentator for CNN. Greene has endured frequent attacks for views that are considered outlandish in the US, including her vocal criticisms of what she identifies as the Biden administration’s "proxy war with Russia." On Saturday, the controversial Congresswoman called for the charges facing Julian Assange be "dropped," writing on social media that "the United States of America must defend the 1st Amendment and protect freedom of the press," as it’s "one of the greatest freedoms any nation can have." As of publication, only one of Greene's liberal critics cited above had ever made a post on Twitter mentioning the Wikileaks editor who has been retroactively held as a political prisoner for over a decade.

The Department of Homeland Security will no longer require any papers to match the self-identified gender | The US Citizenship and Immigration Services marked the Transgender Day of Visibility with an announcement that it will begin accepting “self-identified gender markers” from foreign individuals who seek legal immigration services and benefits, without requesting any supporting documents. While the only options on existing forms are still ‘male’ and ‘female’, Homeland Security’s legal immigration branch will now allow applicants to select and change their preferred gender at will, according to a policy update alert issued on March 31.

The latest air raid reportedly targeted the central Homs province, following strikes on Damascus | Syria’s air defenses have been activated in response to a wave of “Israeli aggression” for the third time in four days, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Sunday. The attack came from Lebanese airspace at around 12:35am local time, targeting the city of Homs and its surroundings, an unnamed military official told SANA. The military source confirmed “some material damages” and at least five injuries among soldiers, after air defenses failed to intercept some of the missiles. ● The latest air raid came after two nights of strikes on the Syrian capital and its suburbs. The first barrage of missiles hit Damascus early Thursday, shortly after midnight local time. The Syrian military accused the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of conducting the attack, which came from the direction of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights and injured at least two soldiers, in addition to causing some “material damage.” Another wave of missiles targeted a location in the Damascus countryside the next night at around 12:17am local time, but resulted in no casualties, according to the Syrian military.

An indefinite and worldwide moratorium on new major AI training runs has to be introduced immediately. | Surviving an encounter with a computer system that “does not care for us nor for sentient life in general” would require “precision and preparation and new scientific insights” that humanity lacks at the moment and is unlikely to obtain in the foreseeable future, he argued. “A sufficiently intelligent AI won’t stay confined to computers for long,” Yudkowsky warned. He explained that the fact that it's already possible to email DNA strings to laboratories to produce proteins will likely allow the AI “to build artificial life forms or bootstrap straight to postbiological molecular manufacturing” and get out into the world.

Apparently, the most realistic wing of the American armed forces is beginning to distrust its own combat capacity in the face of the bellicose plans of their government. In a recent speech, a US top general warned that it would be “very difficult” for Washington to face Russia and China at the same time. The officer believes that major changes would be needed in US military doctrine to face this scenario. It remains to be seen whether pro-war politicians are really interested in this kind of realistic analysis. ● On March 29, General Mark Milley, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, stated that, despite the high combat capability of the US military, the country would have serious problems if it really had to deal with a serious conflict against Beijing and Moscow. His words were spoken during a hearing of the House Committee on Armed Services. “Our military, capability-wise, can fight in a lot of places with different types of contingencies, but if you’re talking about a serious conflict with a major great power war, realistically, putting both China and Russia together is a very, very difficult thing”, he said.

Ron DeSantis has slammed the “Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda” Donald Trump’s potential top rival for the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has ripped into the New York City prosecutor behind the criminal indictment of the former president. "Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda,” DeSantis said in a tweet on Thursday." So far there have been no reports of any potential extradition requests. A spokesman for the Manhattan district attorney’s office told AP that prosecutors had reached out to Trump’s legal team to “arrange a surrender” and a court appearance, expected sometime next week. DeSantis previously said he would not get involved in the case “in any way,” indicating that he would not attempt to block any request for the Florida resident’s extradition to New York. However, he has now echoed Trump’s belief that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg “is stretching the law to target a political opponent.” “The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American,” [he] added.

On March 28, 2023, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) proposed
S.Amdt. 11 — “To require any convention, agreement, or other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response reached by the World Health Assembly to be subject to Senate ratification”
— to S.316, a bill introduced by Sen. Tim Kaine, originally containing two provisions (largely symbolic) to repeal PL 102-1, Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution and PL 107-243, Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002.
S.316 passed on March 29, 2023, with no amendments, by a 66-30-4 vote.
Background: For more information on the World Health Assembly process for adopting a new ‘pandemic treaty’ and also adopting new amendments to the World Health Organization International Health Regulations that have been in force since 1952 and amended in 1969, 1973, 1981, 2005 and in May 2022 — which are two different but interlocking geopolitical procedures — please see James Roguski’s Substack. Roguski has done much more detailed research, writing and video presentation about the World Health Organization component of the intentional global fraud and mass murder program than I have, because I [ Katherine Watt ] focus on the American domestic law components. Start with Roguski’s Jan. 5, 2023 100 Reasons post, including his synopsis:
The World Health Organization is attempting a GLOBAL POWER GRAB by seeking to have the 194 member nations of the World Health Assembly adopt a completely new international agreement commonly referred to as the proposed “Pandemic Treaty” in addition to seeking to adopt proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations.
The proposed “Pandemic Treaty” would give the WHO control over “pathogens with pandemic potential” as well as control over the means of production within the Pharmaceutical, Hospital, Emergency Industrial Complex. It is an absolute abomination that must be stopped.
The proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations would make the WHO’s proclamations legally-binding rather than just advisory recommendations. The proposed amendments seek to institute global digital health certificates, dramatically increase the billions of dollars available to the WHO and enable nations to implement the regulations WITHOUT respect for the dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms of people.
Agreement by a simple majority of the 194 member nations is all that is needed to adopt the amendments because, as amendments to an existing agreement, neither the advice and consent of the United States Senate, nor the signature of the President would be required.
These proposed amendments are being negotiated in secret without any opportunity for comment by people from around the world.

However, he provided no details on where this figure came from. Deripaska noted that the US has never come so close to the bankruptcy of public finances.
