Inner Harbor workers, and allies, staged a demonstration on the morning of July 27, 2011, in front of the office of the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), located in downtown Baltimore. They expressed their concerns about a reported "$3 million rent break that a harbor developer, the Cordish Company," is requesting from the agency. Meanwhile, they point out many Inner Harbor workers "are often on the brink of homelessness and often face threats of eviction."
