Activists staged a demonstration on Monday evening, September 26, 2011, in front of the Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. building in down town Baltimore, MD. The utility giant announced it intends to increase its rates to customers. Supposedly, it will do so, in order to "pay for part of the $81 million [it] spent to clean up after Hurricane irene," according to the press release of the "All Peoples Congress" organization. Featured in this video are activists Sharon Black and Marvin "Doc" Cheatham.
