Moscow has accused the west of stirring up tensions in the Arab world by calling for the overthrow of the Syrian regime. Russia says calls from certain states for the Syrian opposition to avoid dialogue with the government, are only provoking further violence. The US is like a drunkard who charges to war with anyone who might pose a threat, ex-Senator and former US presidential candidate Mike Gravel says.ut at the same time I think my country is an imperial country that is going downhill, and our leadership does not even acknowledge the problem,” confesses Gravel.
“Phony triumphalism has turned into a device to make Americans live in fear of a terrorist attack, yet you are a thousand times more likely to catch cancer than ever be hurt by that,” he points out.
“All I can say about what the US is doing – it‘s immoral,” Gravel says, explaining that “as a result of 9/11, we have altered our moral compass. And people began to get used to brutalizing each other.”
“We Americans used to think ‘oh, what happened in Germany could never happen with us!’ Well, it is happening with us. And it is happening to the detriment of our global position.”
“In Afghanistan, in Iraq and in Vietnam at the era, all American soldiers died in vain,” Gravel claims, recalling the millions of war victims in Vietnam, which is now developing along its own path, regardless. http://rt.com/news/us-wars-corporations-gravel-925/

Lizzie Phelan Interviews Libyan Resistance fighter: "Gaddafi's Libya was the safety net for Africa and for the Arabs. Right now Egypt is very threatened because the Americans and NATO are trying to establish an armed base camp and so now Israel can do whatever it wants to the Arabs and nobody could do anything about it. They could easily be all over the place and nobody would fight it. But I have very good news for you, we are all Muammar Gaddafi. The Libyan resistance, every single one of them are Muammar Gaddafi." Revolutions are dangerous and unpredictable beasts, and for a population to enter into one without fully understanding what is at stake is much like handing a loaded 45 automatic to a toddler.

The UN nuclear watchdog will next week publish a report suggesting Iran has built a nuclear testing facility and will show satellite images to prove it. These allegations also come amid reports of possible military action against the country's nuclear facilities. On Friday, the Israeli President said, when it comes to Iran - "that the international community is closer to finding a military solution than a diplomatic one". RT talks to Patrick Henningsen, editor of the 'Infowars' website foreseeing actions against Iran which could inflame the whole Middle East region.
