"The simple truth about America's marijuana prohibition: any law that allows the easy incarceration of any citizen any time those in power want to do it is the ultimate enemy of democracy. With 800,000 annual arrests over an herb used by tens of millions of Americans, it is the cornerstone of a police state." - Harvey Wasserman
The marijuana laws as they stand today, continue to serve the interests of racism because an inordinately large number of minorities are incarcerated for possession of marijuana. The legalization of marijuana continues to be influenced by corporate greed because the number of excellent products that can be produced from marijuana has only increased since the days of Henry Ford's cannabis car bodies. Therefore such products and materials must be kept off the market to prevent competition which would threaten special interests. And then there are politicians with corporate prison lobbyist friends who want to keep the marijuana laws in place with stiff prison sentences. After all there are tens of millions of marijuana offenders who are just ordinary people, which makes them ideal and plentiful prison inmates in the corporate prison system.
What is wrong with this world? Why is there so much war and suffering? Why are there so many starving children and billionaires? How can we change it?
This young woman was standing at the memorial Bulat Okudzhava on the Arbat in Moscow, playing her violin for tips from the passers by and a soldier came along with his guitar and began to accompany her and this beautiful unrehearsed musical performance occurred. The important thing to take from this video is that life outside the corporate American iron bubble can be very interesting and beautiful.
A small Russian military band doing an amazing performance in a small town in Russia. Americans have always been taught by their media that Russians are a repressed people and lack freedom of expression.
Most American have lived their lives in front of the Hollywood media TV box and have never seen anything outside that narrow world. Here we see a group of ordinary people playing a piece of music in the subway in Moscow. Americans should question why nothing like this has been shown to them by their media, why have they been kept so ignorant? This one is even better

In the last 100 years dozens of doctors, scientists and researchers have come up with the most diverse, apparently effective solutions against cancer, but none of these was ever taken into serious consideration by official medicine. Most of them were in fact rejected out-front, even though healings were claimed in the thousands, their proposers often being labeled as charlatans, ostracized by the medical community and ultimately forced to leave the country. At the same time more than 20,000 people die of cancer every day, without official medicine being able to offer a true sense of hope to those affected by it. Why?
