I am astonished that the corrupt US government wants to give the people a health care plan that will let all Americans see a doctor and receive medical care when they need it, and this, the crowds of idiots are calling communism. The American medical system is a corporate government HMO rip-off system that feeds on the people. The medical insurance companies, HMO’s profit more by denying people medical care then by providing it. In highly industrialized America, richest country on earth, some fifty thousand people die each year from treatable illnesses simply because they cannot afford to see a doctor. More than forty six million Americans have no medical insurance, many of them working. It would be wonderful if the public option, which is a real health care plan for all Americans became a reality. U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio, 10th District) questions Neil M. Barofsky, the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP), testifying before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, about interest payments made to banks that keep their TARP funds and other government (taxpayer) bailout money with the Federal Reserve, instead of making loans to struggling Americans (the original intent of the TARP, remember?) The Fed makes generous interest payments to the banks for "parking" their "excess reserves" at the Fed.

And guess who will end up paying for this "interest" given to the banks, and everything else? That's right, you and me, John and Jane Q. Suckers!! The dumb, fat sheep!
