Helen Thomas ~ the Watchdog of Democracy asks why are we hated in the Muslim world ?

White House Press correspondent Helen Thomas asked the pertinent question as to the motive of terrorists which the Obama administration avoids answering ~ but the answer is obvious to the world. The so called War on terror is a War of terror and we are the principle perpetrators of this ongoing Middle East criminal action against Iraq, Afghanistan and now Pakistan:

Many are aware of America's refusal to discuss how America's preemptive illegal military actions and policies fuel terrorism throughout the Middle East and nowhere was that more evident than at a White House press conference last week with Janet Napolitano and Security advisor John Brennan. Senior White House correspondent Helen Thomas asked the prohibited " Why " question about the real motive of Terrorists, and kept asking as she received non-responses ~ until they all decided to ignore her. John Brennan's answer - " they do this because they're Evil and murderous " is the same condescending self-righteous "They-Hate-us-For-Our-Freedom" garbage we endured for eight years with the Cheney/Bush administration ~ and now apparently with the Obama administration.

Hardly ever mentioned is the fact that the conflagration of religion and a militarized state of occupation is historically a deadly combination in the middle east.

To many Muslims ~ our War of Terror is just the latest reincarnation of the crusades and they have a legitimate case ~ Let's use Blackwater as an example. The notorious Blackwater is a for profit corporation that provides mercenary soldiers and supporting security personnel to the US government and represents a force of well over 50,000 in Iraq and Afghanistan ~ and it does not answer to anyone.

So to fully answer the Helen Thomas question as to 'Why' ~ we must realize that many of these so called terrorist acts are payback for our illegal preemptive military actions and occupations throughout the middle east and also our support of Israel's brutal occupation of Gaza and their ongoing terrorizing of Palestinians.

When the chief support for these illegal actions in the middle east is a notorious right wing corporation with deep roots in Christian Evangelism ~ it's easy to understand Muslim acts of retaliation against America as well as International partners in our ongoing crimes against humanity.
