Comprehending Israel's Bigger Picture

If the general American public ever fully realizes how much death and suffering THEY have caused in Israel's name, to say nothing of THEIR own cost in blood and treasure, the odds are very high that there will be a convulsion.

(DUBAI) - AIPAC (American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee) and its cohorts have manufactured a broad level of support among the American public, but it is based on a mix of indifference, ignorance and low-level indoctrination, and is therefore extremely soft.

AIPAC and the rest know this, which is why they work so assiduously to stifle any criticism, and to keep any overt depiction of Israel's oppression of the Palestinians – an oppression far worse than anything blacks suffered in South Africa under apartheid — from public view in America.

The only way to derail Israel’s quest for regional hegemony and to break its oppression of the Palestinians is to break US support for Israel. And the only way to break US support for Israel is to break the shattered US economy story to the American public and to do it explicitly referencing the reason:

“The Powerful Israel Lobby Manipulation in US Government Affairs and Israeli Oppression and War Crimes.”

A shattered economy, and one shattered because of what the US government allows Israel to do by running political, diplomatic and military interference for it, will get the attention of the US general public very quickly.

–From the slaughter of the Palestinian villages in 1948; through the treacherous attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 killing 34 and wounding over 200 US Sailors and Marines; to the murder of a young American college student named Rachel Corrie; to the imprisoning of American and other humanitarian aid workers working to Free Gaza, including Former US Congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney and Peace Laureate Mary Mcguire, by a so-called "moderate" Israeli leadership (which has only gotten worse); to the incessant attacks on United Nations compounds (United Nations Truce Supervision Organization) and the assassination of United Nations officials; to the death and destruction inflicted on Palestinians in their refugee camps, Sabra, Shatila, Jenin, Raffah and now Gaza under Israeli control, the Jewish record in Israel and that of their supporters outside (especially in the US) is one that justifies every shred of anti-Semitism that ever was.

Americans are often deceptive without meaning to be. To much of the world, they often come across as naive, bumbling innocents in the world of global politics.

And on a day-to-day basis, there is much truth to that. But an enraged America is a very different character.

If the general American public ever fully realizes how much death and suffering THEY have caused in Israel's name, to say nothing of THEIR own cost in blood and treasure, and the role the organized Jewish community in America has played in that process, the odds are very high that there will be a convulsion, — and this, too, is understood by AIPAC (American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee) and its counterparts.

And that is Israel's and AIPAC's worst nightmare — that the general American public will come to realize what has been done by the US government in their name, courtesy of the Jewish lobby in America. It is their worst nightmare because the outcome may well be an upheaval in the US. And they know it.

I suppose when so many people in comparable positions have a consensus on something (like "thou shalt not allow criticism of Israel"), you don't need a conspiracy. There are so many Jewish PACs, besides AIPAC. There exists a coordinating agency called "The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations," Their website (conferenceofpresidents.org/) is worth exploring (and AIPAC is just one of literally dozens of organizations under its umbrella).

Those of us who are informed about Israel and Zionism urgently need to spread this most essential information we have to the wider public.

This includes:

Rmep director Grant F. Smith ‘s 27-minute, 3-part PressTV interview; How Israel's Lobby Challenges Rule of Law in America [Video] in which he speaks about the Israel lobby's history of challenges to rule of law and governance in the United States;

Dr. Alan Sabrosky's "The Dark Side of Jewish Nationalism" and a subsequent Ugly Truth interview; and

"Who's to blame for the Iraq war?" in which Maidhc Ó Cathail highlights the key role played by 20 Zionists in taking America to war in Iraq — a war fought not for America’s interests but for Israel’s.

Everywhere, in the so-called progressive anti-war media, you can read only about the role of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, Don Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Colin Powell; the Zionist assets easily replaceable in 'the Game,' with no loss to them.

But you won't hear much, if anything, about these 20 key Zionist war planners; instead you will hear them heap blame on Americans, not American-Israelis (or "Israelis in America" to be truthful.) Therein lies the big difference.

To those who would like to better understand the dynamics between these Chosen ones and the more prominent non-chosen war criminals, I suggest you read the introduction to Jeff Gates’s Guilt By Association, especially the section entitled Treason Hidden in Plain Sight: http://criminalstate.com/guilt-by-association/

More and more people are looking for answers, they just need to know where to go looking for them. Encourage others in your circle to start spreading the word, everywhere there is a discussion of Israel, Zionism, terrorism, and the resultant economic crisis.

According to America's top military official, Israel's bombing of Iran likely would directly result in the deaths of American soldiers. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen warned last Thursday, that an Israeli attack on Iran might lead to escalation, undermine the region's stability and endanger the lives of Americans in the Persian Gulf "who are under the threat envelope right now."

Even General Petraeus – the most influential, if not the highest ranking member, of the US military recently issued a warning saying: "The enduring hostilities between Israel and some of its neighbors present distinct challenges to our ability to advance our interests in the AOR [CENTCOM's Area Of Responsibility]… The conflict foments anti-American sentiment, due to a perception of U.S. favoritism for Israel. Arab anger over the Palestinian question limits the strength and depth of U.S. partnerships with governments and peoples in the AOR, and weakens the legitimacy of moderate regimes in the Arab world."

We must build on this momentum and find ways to get this information out to the public through the internet's “Alternative Media,” through “Mainstream Press online Comments and Discussion Forums.” It is the only medium of communication available to us. More and more Americans today turn to the internet for their news and views. Many Mainstream Media “pundits” (I like that word) get their cues from us on the web.

They did throw out the Republican Administration. Where do you think they got their information from? The US Mainstream Media ?

The American public should be asked a simple question now:

“Are you with Gen. Petraeus and Adm. Mullen or with Israel ?”

Mystifying the sultry blues of "Blue Sun" to the punk-infused anthems like "Brass in Pocket," the band slips into these heterogeneous grooves with greased skids.
