« Nine US Warships Threaten Yemen | Priority Saudi Targets in Yemen: Civilian Men, Women, Children and Infants » |
by Stephen Lendman
US-planned and orchestrated/Saudi-led terror-bombing continues into its 24th day - more intensively than earlier.
Another Obama atrocity is unfolding in plain sight. Civilians are being deliberately murdered in cold blood.
Some estimates put the death toll at over 2,700 - many thousands more injured. An appalling humanitarian crisis worsens daily.
Iranian President Hassan Rohani condemned aggressor crimes - against "children, elderly women and men in Yemen," he said.
"Why do the aggressors not extend a hand of friendship and reconciliation to other nations," he asked?
"What is the point in sending financial and arms aid to terrorists in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq?"
"What is the point in the bombardment of the oppressed and innocent people in Yemen?"
Rohani stressed Iran's commitment for regional peace and stability, adding:
"Our doctrine is not a military and war doctrine but (is) a defense doctrine."
"Our strategy is always an active deterrent strategy - deterrence to establish peace and security in our country and also in regional states."
US and Israeli Big Lies claim otherwise. Both countries and rogue partners threaten world peace.
Ongoing regional wars, related violence and chaos attest to their barbarity. They partner in high crimes of war and against humanity - genocide by any standard.
Yemen is Obama's latest dirty war - complicit with Saudi Arabia and other regional rogue states.
Daily terror-bombing continues. Scores of deaths and injured mount. Saudis lied claiming they're only attacking Houthi positions.
Clear evidence shows they're targeting civilian neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, refugee camps, food storage facilities, power stations, and numerous other non-military related sites - selected by Washington to destroy.
US military personnel are working with Saudis in Riyadh - choosing targets to terror-bomb.
The strategy is longstanding US policy - notably during WW II as well as subsequent multiple acts of direct and proxy naked aggression against nations posing no threat to anyone.
Witnesses report Saudis are using terror weapons against civilians - maybe toxic chemical agents.
Washington and Riyadh are recruiting thousands of IS, Al Qaeda and other Takfiri terrorists as shock troops to battle Houthis in ground fighting.
They're relocating others from Syria. According to Lebanon's Al-Akhbar Arabic language newspaper:
"The Jeish al-Islam terrorists landed in the port city of Al-Mokala, provincial capital of Hazar al-Mout province, and joined (Saudi-recruited) Al Qaeda terrorists in that province."
They took control of the city. Yemeni army commander Col. Abdel Sattar al-Boushali said Saudis "sent around 5,000 Takfiri mercenaries to fight against the Yemeni army and revolutionary committees."
Separately, Iranian armed forces commander General Hassan Firouzabadi said:
"We have received reports that the US planes visit the ISIL(-controlled) airports."
They're delivering weapons and munitions to terrorist fighters. Iranian top international affairs advisor Ali Akbar Velayati added:
"Today, we see extremist groups like ISIL which are the proteges of the Americans and do not see any difference between various Muslim sects and group and massacre everyone."
"They claim to be supporters of Islam but their behavior and actions are against their words."
US direct and proxy aggression rages in multiple theaters. Humanity's survival today more than ever is threatened.
