Saudis Resume Terror-Bombing Yemen

April 27th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Saudis operate like America and Israel. They say one thing. They do another. They represent pure evil. After Wednesday's announced end to terror-bombing, Saudis resumed it on Thursday. It didn't surprise. Rogue states operate this way. Saudi despotism ranks with the world's worst. State terror is official policy - at home and in international relations.

Riyadh's so-called political solution involves continued terror-war on 25 million Yemenis.

Reports indicate airstrikes targeted Taiz in Yemen's southwest. Fighting continues in other areas - notably in the southern port city of Aden.

Saudi warships fired rockets and missiles at Yemeni targets. Eyewitnesses said they saw US warships doing the same thing.

Riyadh claims about it achieving its military objectives rang hollow when announced. Its peace offensive involves continued terror war - maybe including ground forces this time.

Saudis claim the right to "counter any military moves by the Houthis or their allies."

International law stipulates their actions constitute naked aggression - the supreme high crime.

A separate article said Riyadh's announced Renewal of Hope operation offers none.

A senior Houthi official said its "aggression" didn't end. "(N)othing has changed. They will see what happens soon."

Expect protracted conflict to continue. Expect continued US-orchestrated/Saudi-led mass slaughter and destruction.

Expect no relief for long-suffering Yemenis. Expect a catastrophic humanitarian crisis to worsen.

Expect world leaders able to intervene responsibly to do nothing. Expect US-sponsored genocide against Yemenis to continue - maybe until the entire country is destroyed.
