RESPONSE from Larry Pinkney to MoveOn.org

I most certainly will NOT sign your petition (below) thanking Drone Man, 'Kill List,' NDAA/indefinite detention signing Barack Obama for more of his smoke & mirror "diplomacy" re Iran or any other nation. STOP being shills for the Democratic Party while simultaneously perpetuating the fake left/right paradigm of divide & conquer carried out by the 'leadership' of both the 'Democratic' and Republican parties!!!!

In the context of the United States, the only thing "historic" about the so-called deal with Iran, is how successfully Obama (and his corporate vomit-stream media clones) continue to be in duping a significant portion of the 'American' people. But this too, is steadily changing.

No doubt you at MoveOn.org would also desire people to "thank" Obama and his Democrat & Republican minions for ramming down the throats of everyday people in the United States, the secretive and absolutely undemocratic so-called TransAtlantic 'Trade' and Investment 'Partnership,' which would -- in addition to massively increasing the environmental degradation of Mother Earth -- would also "allow corporations to sue governments using secretive panels, bypassing courts and parliaments..." The hell with the will of the people and 'democracy,' right???!! [Click here: The lies behind this transatlantic trade deal | George Monbiot | Comment is free | The Guardian]

Oh YES! While you're at it, you will undoubtedly also want to "thank" Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their NATO puppet 'allies' for bombing the North African (formerly sovereign) nation of Libya to smithereens causing 1) the deaths of hundreds of thousands, 2) untold and ongoing human misery & suffering, and 3) the further destabilization of Africa as a whole -- while reaping huge profits for the avaricious elite of the corporate/military complex!!!

Make an effort to be critical thinkers and to be REAL; and cease spewing Republicrat divisive and diversionary nonsense!!!!!!

Dear MoveOn member, \

President Obama just announced that the U.S., Iran, and the international community have reached a historic agreement to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon—potentially setting us on a path to ending decades of hostility.1

This is a huge deal. It still has to be reviewed by Congress—and over the next 60 days, we're going to have to campaign really hard to make sure the Senate and House don't squander this chance.

But for right now, it's worth celebrating what a historic achievement this is for diplomacy. And we can be thankful that our president is working to avoid another massively destructive and costly U.S. war in the Middle East.

Will you click here to say thank you to President Obama for pursuing peace with Iran—and send Congress a message showing your support for diplomacy?

President Obama promised "aggressive personal diplomacy" with Iran when he campaigned for president in the 2008 primary and general election. MoveOn members rallied to his side at the time and throughout this diplomatic process.2

Now that he's shown that diplomacy can work, we need to show that the American people stand with him and will do everything in their power to give this agreement a chance to succeed and become a model for resolving other conflicts. But with opponents of diplomacy about to go all out to stop this, we have to be out there right away, visibly and loudly.

Sign the petition thanking President Obama for pursuing peace—and send a message that peace, not war, should be our goal.

We've all seen presidents drag us into war. It's not every day we see one help the country steer clear of one. It makes me glad and proud that we have a president who truly gives peace a chance.

We don't always agree with everything President Obama does—on foreign policy or otherwise—but here he deserves credit. Especially because he'll take significant heat for it—from super-hawks like Tom Cotton, the senator who memorably spearheaded an open letter to the leaders of Iran telling them not to trust our own State Department or president; from Fox News; and even from folks who should know better, including some Senate Democrats.

Sign the petition thanking President Obama—and calling on Congress to defend this historic deal.

Thank you for all you do.
