Netanyahu’s UN Rant

October 5th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Netanyahu is an unindicted war criminal, an embarrassment to legitimate governance. Petitions circulated in Britain and America for his arrest.

He remains unaccountable for the supreme high crime against peace. Instead he’s feted where he shows up, especially in America, Britain and Canada, three rogue states supporting another’s leader, partnering in each other’s crimes.

Netanyahu’s UN address was beginning-to-end Big Lies, his usual rant, turning truth on its head, beginning by falsely claiming Israel is “the one true democracy in the Middle East.”

It’s a hate-mongering fascist police state, persecuting its 20% Arab population, maintaining ruthless occupation harshness on Palestine, waging premeditated wars on Gaza at its discretion, mass murdering Arabs because they’re not Jews.

He spent most of his rant bashing Iran and the important nuclear deal - seven countries consummating it, nearly all others supportive.

Netanyahu lied saying it “doesn’t make peace more likely. By fueling Iran’s aggressions with billions of dollars in sanctions relief, it makes war more likely.”

Fact: It’s the first positive regional initiative in decades, polar opposite Palestine’s Oslo surrender, reducing the chance for more regional war.

The one country most guilty of aggression throughout its history is Israel - except for America, both nations partnering in each other’s high crimes.

Iran hasn’t attacked another country in centuries. It threatens none now. It never said it wants Israel destroyed, one of the many Big Lies repeated ad nauseam.

“Iran…prop(s) up Assad’s brutal regime…Iran threatened to topple Jordan. Iran’s proxy Hezbollah smuggled into Lebanon SA-22 missiles to down our planes, and Yakhont cruise missiles to sink our ships,” Netanyahu blustered.

“Iran supplied Hezbollah with precision-guided surface-to-surface missiles and attack drones so it can accurately hit any target in Israel. Iran aided Hamas and Islamic Jihad in building armed drones in Gaza.”

All vicious, irresponsible Big Lies. Netanyahu makes baseless accusations, never provides corroborating evidence. None exists.

At the same time, he heads a ruthless Arab-hating regime, nuclear armed and dangerous, menacing regional peace, a rogue state threat to humanity.

“Iran…made clear its plans to open two new terror fronts against Israel, promising to arm Palestinians in the West Bank and sending its Revolutionary Guard generals to the Golan Heights, from which its operatives recently fired rockets on northern Israel,” Netanyahu raged.

“Every few weeks, Iran and Hezbollah set up new terror cells in cities throughout the world.”

“Now just imagine what Iran will do after those sanctions are lifted. Unleashed and un-muzzled, Iran will go on the prowl, devouring more and more prey. In the wake of the nuclear deal, Iran is spending billions of dollars on weapons and satellites.”

It’s hard imagining how anyone tolerates this rubbish - hate talk, vicious lies, not a shred of evidence supporting them. Why all delegations in the General Assembly Hall didn’t walk out, they’ll have to explain.

Iran is the region’s leading peacemaker, Israel is main aggressor, along with its US partner in high crimes.

Tehran urges mutual cooperation among all nations. Israel and America want independent ones conquered, pillaged, subjugated and exploited - their ruthlessness responsible for millions of deaths and unspeakable human misery.

Netanyahu’s intimidating 44 second pause after falsely accusing Iran of wanting Israel destroyed was a sick PR stunt fooling no one, a dud like his 2012 cartoon bomb, eliciting derision, lots online, making him a laughing stock, again yesterday before a world audience.

America and Israel are the greatest threats to world peace - Obama and Netanyahu Exhibits A and B.
