Netanyahu Escalates State Terror Against Palestinians

November 25th, 2015

John Kerry arrives in Israel later on Tuesday as this is written. He’ll meet with Netanyahu to express full support for raging state terror against millions of defenseless Palestinian civilians - including harsh new measures being imposed.

Kerry’s rhetoric belies his agenda. On Monday from Abu Dhabi, meeting with despotic Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zahed al-Nahyan and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan, he said talks in Israel will try to “get some concrete steps in place (to) calm things down…(T)oo many Israelis have been killed and stabbed…”Washington and Israel partner in each other’s high crimes, raging daily against Palestinians, Kerry indifferent to their longstanding suffering - US policy everywhere, supporting powerful Western interests exclusively at the expense of ordinary people, at home and abroad.

On Monday, Netanyahu said the IDF will escalate operations against Palestinians intensively. “(W)e’re going into every site. We’re entering (Palestinian) villages. We’re entering towns. We’re entering homes and conducting widespread arrests” - with “no restrictions.”

He authorized greater police state terror than before. Expect many more Palestinian casualties, more mass arrests for political reasons - war against an entire population with full US support.

Israel must “take additional action to counter” nonexistent threats, Netanyahu blustered - youths and children with stones, their bare hands and indomitable spirit against one of the world’s most ruthless regimes, fascism the equivalent of Nazism.

New harsh measures include punishing family members of alleged Palestinian “terrorists,” destroying their homes, greatly restricting their movements and denying them work permit permission to enter Israel or hold jobs in settlements.

Extended family members will be barred from entering Israel for jobs currently held. IDF reservists will be activated to bolster regular army rampaging against Palestinians throughout the Territories. Measures are being “prepar(ed) to take care of the social networks using various means,” Netanyahu warned.

Mass arrests of Hamas members and supporters are planned. Forced deportations are being considered. Israel calls legitimate Palestinian self-defense and resistance against longstanding Israeli viciousness “terrorism.”

Gaza was again bombed overnight, in response to an alleged rocket fired, harming no one, doing no damage. Hamas is automatically blamed for anything in Gaza Israel opposes. Regular attacks on the territory occur - civilians constantly in harm’s way.

New York Times Jerusalem correspondent Jodi Rudoren reports one-sidedly from Israel, her latest on new measures Netanyahu plans - ignoring vicious Israeli state terror against defenseless Palestinians, highlighting alleged dangers Israelis face, ignoring horrific state-sponsored crimes committed against an entire population.

Saying Netanyahu “me(t) with local commanders ‘to step up our war against the terrorists (including seeking) pinpoint solutions,’ “

Not a word about legitimate Palestinian resistance against nearly half a century of ruthless occupation. Nothing about stolen Palestinian land, bulldozed homes, mass imprisonments for political reasons, children treated as brutally as adults, or ongoing state terror against a defenseless population.

Palestinians suffer hugely under Israel’s repressive boot. Their liberating struggle deserves universal support.
