The Only Way to End Israel’s War on Palestine

December 9th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

The only way is through sustained, unrelenting, committed resistance, never quitting no matter how tough the struggle.

Palestinians will never be free without ending occupation harshness, along with finally holding Israel accountable for decades of high crimes.

Longterm persistence is vital. The cost in human lives, pain and suffering is small compared to permanent enslavement - slow death, endless persecution at the hands of a ruthless occupier, a monster devouring its victims. Key also is ending US military and other aid, billions of dollars annually, as well as the latest weapons and technology, American taxpayers funding a ruthless killing machine.

Sustained mass outrage is the only way to get politicians’ attention. Getting them to act responsibly is another matter entirely - virtually no profiles in courage in Washington. Few, if any, in Israel’s Knesset other than Arab MKs, powerless to change anything, disdainfully treated.

Israeli Lobby power keeps House and Senate members in tow. Republican and Democrat administrations need no persuasion.

What can’t go on forever, won’t. Tough tasks take time, the impossible a little longer. Pure evil hasn’t enough energy to sustain itself interminably.

Imperial America will eventually go the way of all others. Israel will one day die by the sword it lives by. Two evil forces are sowing the seeds of their own destruction.

Major change takes time. Sustained resistance against tyranny hastens it. Palestinians have been struggling for decades.

They’re again putting their bodies on the line for freedom. It’s too precious to accept anything less. Maybe one day Americans will rise up the same way, especially persecuted communities, going way beyond their 1960s civil rights struggles, everything gained then now lost.

Ruthless tyrants run things at the federal, state and local levels. America was never beautiful. It’s more a monster now than ever.

The only solution here and in Palestine is committed revolution, endless struggle for change, accepting nothing less than equity and justice for all - the impossible dream maybe one day coming true.

The alternative may be mushroom cloud denouement, the unthinkable unless enough committed people prevent evil from triumphing. It takes putting our bodies on the line for freedom, accepting nothing less.
