.The Times consistently suppresses what’s most important to report, notably on geopolitical issues. Managed news misinformation substitutes, willful deception.
On January 23, it discussed Washington’s (sinister) alliance with Saudi Arabia on Syria, a code-named Timber Sycamore - suppressing information on Obama’s war of aggression, launched for regime change, perpetuating the myth about nonexistent moderate Syrian rebels.
According to The Times, “the Saudis contribute both weapons and large sums of money, and the CIA takes the lead in training the rebels on AK-47 assault rifles and tank-destroying missiles” - without explaining so-called “rebels” are ISIS and other terrorist fighters.
The Times ludicrously called the kingdom “the spiritual anchor of the Sunni Muslim world.” Saudi Wahhabi fundamentalism is polar opposite what most Sunni Muslims practice and support - Islam’s most extremist form.
It’s ideologically over-the-top, supporting state-sponsored terrorism, regional violence and chaos, wanting nonbelievers eliminated.
Saudi money indeed fuels war on Syria and elsewhere regionally, along with plenty from America and rogue allies. CIA elements train ISIS and other terrorist fighters in using heavy and light weapons - made in America, other Western countries and Israel.
The Times suppressed what’s most important to explain, including Obama full responsibility for launching war in March 2011, using ISIS and other terrorist groups as US foot soldiers.
They’re aided by US warplanes bombing Syrian infrastructure and government targets since September 2014 on the pretext of combating ISIS - Pentagon combat troops joining them in recent months, larger contingents coming.
The Times estimates Riyadh poured at least “several billion dollars” into waging war on Syria, only saying it’s used to train and arm (nonexistent) moderate rebels.
It bears repeating. They don’t exist. US-supported ISIS, Al Qaeda, Jabhat al-Nusra, Jaish al-Islam (Army of Islam), and other terrorists groups are ravaging Syria - killing hundreds of thousands, mostly civilians, internally or externally displacing half the population.
Washington is allied with Riyadh, other Gulf States, key NATO partners, Turkey, Israel and Jordan, waging naked aggression on Syria - seeking unchallenged regional and global dominance, wanting all sovereign independent governments eliminated.
The Times ignored reality, invented a fictional scenario, saying “(t)he White House…embraced the covert financing from Saudi Arabia - and from Qatar, Jordan and Turkey - at a time when Mr. Obama has pushed gulf nations to take a greater security role in the region…partly to try to gain control of the apparent free-for-all in the region.”
It’s plagued by violence and chaos, US imperial wars fully responsible, raging endlessly, raping one country after another - Iraq, Libya and Syria in the eye of the storm, victims of bipartisan gangsters running America, representing pure evil threatening humanity’s survival.
On February 14, 1945, Franklin Roosevelt met with then Saudi King Ibn Saud on the USS Quincy. A seven decade relationship followed.
America was guaranteed access to what the State Department called "a stupendous source of strategic power, and one of the greatest material prizes in world history.”
Saudis were assured of US support and protection, their egregious human rights violations ignored - a family-controlled nation prohibiting freedom, despotism substituting for democracy.
Saudis allied with US state-terrorism since support for mujahideen anti-Soviet fighters in Afghanistan in the 1980s.
Decades of high crimes against peace followed, continuing in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Palestine. Iran’s turn awaits.
