Russian Prime Minister Warns Against Syrian Conflict Igniting WW III

February 14th, 2016

Addressing Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States following their threat to send combat troops to Syria, a grave breach of international law if ordered, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev blasted them, saying escalating conflict risks “unleashing another war on earth.”

“Any (lawless ground invasion could) lead to (dangerously escalated) permanent war,” he warned - what Washington unleashed on Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria with new targets in mind.

Addressing his comments to Saudi Arabia and Turkey specifically, he meant America most of all. These and other regional states won’t act unilaterally or together without US permission or complicity.

On issues of war and peace, Washington calls the shots, its belligerent agenda the greatest threat to world peace.

Escalating regional war is madness, winning it impossible, Medvedev stressed. His comments were published on the eve of International Syrian Support Group (ISSG) members meeting in Munich.

Ongoing talks represent another futile conflict resolution effort, doomed to fail like earlier ones because Washington wants war, not peace, the latter anathema to furthering its imperial agenda.

A previous article warned of Syria becoming a potential catastrophic flashpoint. America’s hegemonic madness risks WW III.

Increasingly it’s risking direct confrontation with Russia and China, potential conflict much greater than Middle East wars if ignited.

Bipartisan lunatics in Washington make the unthinkable possible. Imperiling planet earth doesn’t deter them.
