Judas Goat Sanders Still Hanging Around

August 4th, 2016

Stephen Lendman

Con man/Judas goat Sanders will be remembered for disgracefully leading his followers astray, betraying them by endorsing what he campaigned against.

He’s a footnote in the dark history of US politics, his self-styled political revolution smoke and mirrors deception.

Never a serious contender against Clinton chosen by party bosses to be Democrat nominee last year, his assignment involves deceptively attempting to shift independent and disaffected voters to Democrat party ranks - based on false promises, misinformation and Big Lies.

He represents what’s rotten about US politics - actively working against what he claims to support. He’s no progressive and never was, strictly a card-carrying neocon Democrat War Party loyalist, supporting imperial lawlessness, going along with neoliberal harshness while feigning opposition.

Hillary Clinton is the most recklessly dangerous presidential aspirant in US history, a major threat to world peace, stability and security.

After rhetorically campaigning against her agenda for months, Sanders endorsed it - falsely calling the regressive Democrat party platform its most progressive in history - an insult to New Deal, Fair Deal, Great Society programs fast disappearing, neoliberal harshness replacing them, Sanders voicing no objections, pretending not to notice.

He’s reduced to a pathetic Clinton supporter, backing wealth, power, privilege and imperial wars, reciting scripted lines party bosses hand him, calling Trump “the most dangerous presidential candidate in the modern history of this country…”

If elected in November, he may turn out this way, yet with no public record it’s unclear precisely what he’ll do.

For sure he’ll continue policies benefitting wealth, power and privilege exclusively. At the same time, he’s more interested in making money than waging WW III.

Possible global war with nuclear weapons is the greatest threat if Hillary succeeds Obama. Sanders ignores what’s top priority to expose and denounce.

Throughout his political career, he’s always been more opportunist than populist. Now he’s Hillary echo chamber, shamelessly showing how low he’s sunk.
