The Tail Wagging the Dog: How Israel Controls U.S. Foreign Policy

March 27th, 2025

Netanyahu addresses AIPAC, underscoring Israel's outsized influence on U.S. foreign policy. Critics argue America's 'special relationship' with Israel resembles a tail wagging the dog—where Zionist lobbies dictate Washington's decisions.

Various interest groups have shaped the political climate of the United States throughout the decades. However, the United States-Israel relationship is the most intriguing and longest-standing case of foreign influence on American politics. This "special friendship," at times referred to as such, has developed from shared strategic interests to a dynamic where the impact of Zionist interests on American politics can be said to be out of proportion to the interests of the American people. This information reveals that it is no partnership of equals but is somewhat likely to be a matter of the tail-wagging dog—where the priorities of Israel dominate policy decisions in the United States.

The Lobby That Owns Congress

Among the most potent tools of Zionist domination of the United States is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). This ubiquitous lobbying organization has gained unprecedented sway over American lawmakers. Operating in the background but powerfully, AIPAC is the backbone of pro-Israel lobbying in the United States. Its power is indirect but all-encompassing, not in outright financial donations but in the actions of its donors. AIPAC has been able to mobilize billions of dollars in donations to American politicians who are pro-Israel's policy goals. Pro-Israel groups donated more than $30 million in political contributions between 1990 and 2024 (OpenSecrets, 2024), which ensured virtually unanimous Congressional support for Israel when the rest of the world condemned Israel's Lavender AI Killing Machine 67,000 deaths in Palestine.

AIPAC's influence was at one of its peaks in the controversy surrounding the Iran nuclear agreement in 2015. Although the agreement was among the Obama administration's highest foreign policy priorities, AIPAC prevailed in molding Congressional opposition to the agreement, staging the obscenity of the present U.S. president having to mobilize members of his party to vote against an Israeli-backed veto. The affair brought to the fore the level to which American foreign policy is influenced by the pro-Israel lobby, with hardly any domestic or international interests enjoying such leverage (The Intercept, 2015).

AIPAC's activities are not unusual in shaping U.S. policy. Groups like the Jewish Defense League (JDL), which was formally designated a terrorist organization by the FBI (FBI, 2001), are representative of the more militant currents of Zionist activism. While AIPAC operates within the letter of the law in America, the JDL bombings and killings indicate the far range of methods employed in prioritizing Israel's agenda. That both extremes coexist side by side—AIPAC's high-tech lobbying and JDL's violent radicalism—only serves to prove the multifaceted Zionist presence in American politics.

Zionist Occupied Media: The Narrative Machine

Aside from lobbying, the mass media is also tasked with presenting an image of the U.S.-Israeli relationship. Hollywood, for example, has been one of the largest markets in which Zionist pressure is applied. Senior executives of some of the major studios in Hollywood, i.e., Disney, Warner Brothers, and Paramount, have close personal relationships and political connections with Israel

This is not a coincidence but part of a broader agenda of setting a cultural narrative in the interests of Israel. A case in point is Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List, which, while presented as a film classic, is also a cultural tool to advance the story of Jewish victimhood in the Holocaust and of the establishment of the State of Israel (Haaretz, 2006). The film is an affirmation of the Zionist thesis of Holocaust-Israel nexus, the master thesis of Israel's legitimacy in international politics.

Zionist-thinkers' influence does not begin and end with Hollywood. Mainstream American mainstream media outlets, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, have been accused of reporting un-critical Israeli policy favoritism. Editorial decisions, frequently dependent on the individual political viewpoint of ownership, ensure coverage that ensures Israel's actions, even violent or provocative, will receive good press. Whenever dissenting or critical opinions have been expressed, these are kept in the margin and condemned as anti-Semitic or radical. This media management has meant that public debate on Israel and Palestine is brutally controlled, and pro-Israeli Genocide is dominant.

Social media outlets also come under Zionist domination, with pro-Israeli figures such as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, who are both reportedly pro-Israel, operating outlets that censor pro-Palestinian material. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a stealth civil rights organization, embarrasses tech companies into blacklisting pro-Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement activists, which calls for economic and cultural pressure on Israel to abandon its occupation of Palestine (The Guardian, 2021). This institutional pro-Israel predisposition has made social media the core battleground for framing the narrative of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Worldwide, it is no different. From London to Berlin, pro-Israel pressure dictates policy on weapons sales, sanctions, and diplomatic recognition. It is not a secret; it is on the record. The question is not whether this kind of influence exists—it does—but whether it serves or distorts the national interests of the countries it affects.

The Media Matrix: Ownership as Influence

Television: Not that these large networks—CNN, Fox, MSNBC—are "Zionist puppets," but their ownership structures and editorial leanings are pro-Israel. This is not a cabal; it is the intersection of common interests of 1/10 of the world's population ruling the rest of us.

Hollywood: The Jewish origins of the motion picture industry are an established history, but the notion of a "Zionist Hollywood" is an exaggeration. What there is a cultural identification, not an orchestrated agenda—although pro-Israeli narratives do get over-funded and released.

Broadway & Arts: Theater and galleries react to benefactors. If benefactors are interested in the themes presented, the themes dominate—benefactors, not conspiracy.

The Rothschilds & Cultural Hegemony: Patronage as Power

The Rothschild dynasty epitomizes the nexus of wealth, art, and institutional influence. As principal donors to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Huntington Library, and botanical gardens worldwide, their patronage shapes cultural narratives. A glance at Who’s Who reveals a disproportionate Jewish elite presence in art ownership: the Guggenheims (Solomon R.), Saatchis (Charles), and Lauder family (Estée Lauder Fund) dominate museum boards, while auction houses like Sotheby’s (historically Jewish-led) dictate global art values. This isn’t conspiracy—it’s curated influence.

On Broadway, benefactors like the Mirvish family (Toronto) and Shuberts (New York) greenlight productions that align with their sensibilities. The Public Theater’s pro-Israel stance under Oskar Eustis (a vocal Zionist) mirrors donor priorities. Even dissent is commodified: critical plays about Palestine rarely secure funding, while Holocaust narratives receive endowments (e.g., Rothschild Foundation grants).

The pattern repeats in literature (Knopf/Penguin Random House), music (Sony’s Zionist ties), and academia (Harvard’s Wexner Foundation fellowships). Control isn’t clandestine—it’s philanthropy with conditions.

Universities: Chairs, centers, and endowments for Israeli studies and Holocaust education dominate. Ideological capture, critics claim, is academic freedom for enthusiasts. It is impossible to be entirely correct while the other is completely wrong.

Pentagon: Policy as Proxy
Supporting the Israeli military is not an act of kindness—it's policy. The $3.8 billion annual package is defended as support for a democratic ally, but technology transfer (from drone systems to cyber warfare) is a two-way street. The Pentagon's dependence on Israeli intelligence in the Middle East makes it interdependent—a relationship some argue distorts U.S. priorities.

The Israeli arms industry-U.S. defense contractor revolving door is not low, but it is not high either. Elbit Systems has retired generals on its board; retired Mossad agents work as consultants for Lockheed Martin. This revolving door Mossadism is not cough corruption—it is geopolitically seasoned capitalism.

Congress & The Presidency: The Lobby and The Lever

AIPAC applicants grovel to AIPAC not out of fear but, in fact—the pro-Israel vote is organized, funded, and ruthless. Criticism of Israeli policy is not political suicide but professional euthanasia.

Presidents Trump and Biden have sworn allegiance to Israel's security, historically on the backs of other allies. Is this Zionism? No—it is realism with a religious fig leaf. President Trump has surrounded himself with a cabinet largely staffed by Pro-Zionist Israeli Acolytes, not one of whom will ever live full time in Israel. They are loyal, when they are sending our sons and daughters on deployments to Israel (America's largest Aircraft Carrier). But they, themselves, will not live in Israel. It is portrayed as America's Colony, Israel--when in reality, America is Israel's Colony. Your mind is Israel's Colony, hence all the narrative framing about "right to defend herself." What they mean is right to kill 67,000 Palestinians, mostly young women and children. You are supposed to open your mind to the "Normalization of Mass Genocide" via Lavender AI.

The Surveillance Complex: Eyes on the World
Mossad's global spying is inflated by critics and understated by supporters. Its activity with the NSA, Palantir, and NICE Systems is not clandestine—there is an open secret to it. Whether or not Israeli companies like NSO Group sell Pegasus to totalitarian regimes, the question is not whether Zionism is spreading its wings but whether technology has rendered old-style espionage obsolete.

There is only influence, and it is hard-fought and ruthlessly maintained. To call it a conspiracy is to absolve the rest of us from responsibility. Systems are not taken over by themselves but by the inertia of those who fail to resist them.

The Pentagon-Mossad Axis

The second imperative dimension of the Zionist dominance of U.S. policy is the close integration between the U.S. military and Israeli intelligence services. The U.S. provides Israel with about $3.8 billion in military assistance yearly, which is greater than U.S. assistance to any other country (CRS, 2024). The investment has effectively made Israel the biggest recipient of U.S. foreign aid while American infrastructure deteriorates. The taxpayer dollars of the American people that make their way into the Israeli military infrastructure are spent to subsidize the Iron Dome missile defense system that protects Israel from rockets. At the same time, America itself struggles to upgrade its infrastructure.

The relationship between Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, and the Pentagon also deserves notice. In joint military endeavors, intelligence sharing, and cyber warfare, the two countries have had an incestuous relationship and undistinguishable U.S. and Israeli interests. High-ranking U.S. officials such as former Pentagon comptroller Dov Zakheim have been labeled as dual-loyalists to the U.S. and Israel, raising questions about whether such officials represent the interests of the American or the Israeli state (The Grayzone, 2023). The extent of this coordination is not generally visible to the public. However, its effect is evident: Israeli security concerns determine U.S. foreign policy regardless of the collective interests of the American people.

The Courts: Enshrining Loyalty

The courts have also played a significant role in advancing Zionist interests in the U.S. The Supreme Court, typically an institution in balance, has also made rulings in several cases that de facto have restricted free speech where criticism of Israel is involved. The Court has upheld state laws punishing individuals or entities that promote the BDS movement, a campaign to economically and culturally boycott Israel until it is ready to comply with international law relating to Palestinian rights (ACLU, 2022). They were justified as a means of protecting national security or combating antisemitism, yet they serve the purpose of muzzling dissent from Israeli policy. The legal system of the United States thus becomes another mechanism through which Zionist interests attempt to muzzle criticism and further their political agenda.

The Presidency: A Targeted Institution

The United States Presidency is another institution in which the power of Zionism is evident. Since Harry Truman's 1948 approval of Israel, under heavy lobbies from Zionist groups, presidents have always been swayed by the demands of pro-Israel funders. Each time, the U.S. presidents have acted in Israeli interests at the expense of the collective interests of the United States as a whole. Even Joe Biden, who otherwise at times rambles about the rights of the Palestinians, persisted in uncritically equipping Israel, further confirming the reality that American foreign policy is dictated by neither the American people's agenda nor its elected politicians, but rather the agenda of Jewish Zionist financiers and propagandists.

Politicians seeking to defy such a reality could have their worlds devastated. It has happened to politicians such as Bernie Sanders, who advocated for Palestinian rights and was rewarded with intense political heat and public demonization by pro-Israel groups. The message is clear: deviate from the interests of the Israeli lobby, and your career will be harmed. It is this unspoken reality that has kept the vast majority of U.S. politicians in tandem with pro-Israel policy, regardless of the cost to the U.S. taxpayer.

The Unspoken Reality

Standing behind the United States' ties with Israel is a simple, albeit unpalatable, truth: this has little to do with the Jewish people as such but is an issue of power—specifically, Zionist power. The U.S. does not have an alliance with Israel because of shared cultural values, historical ties, or even mutual interests. Instead, it is an alliance driven by the power of an influential minority.

A minority that has ensured that American policy, whether foreign or domestic, remains aligned with the interests of Israel regardless of the views of American citizens. Israel and America's "common values" can best be summed up by America's and Israels's vast propensity for killing and by Trump sending Anti-Zionist Activists to lockdown re-education camps.
It is clear that American political decisions in the Middle East are not simply influenced by strategic interests or democratic values but are fundamentally shaped by the goals of Israel—a reality which proves that sometimes, the tail wags the dog...
