June 7, 2016 (EIRNS)--NATO's Exercise Anaconda 16 got underway yesterday, with an opening in Warsaw attended by both Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz and U.S. Ambassador Paul W. Jones. Activities in the exercise publicly announced so far, include a parachute drop of 1,130 paratroopers, a crossing of the Vistula River and a nighttime assault using 35 helicopters. All told, the exercise involves some 31,000 troops from 24 nations, including 14,000 from the US, 12,000 from Poland, and 800 from the UK, with 3,000 vehicles, and 105 airplanes and helicopters, along with 12 Navy ships. Most media coverage of the exercise notes that Anaconda will be the first time since 1941, when Adolph Hitler launched the Operation Barbarossa invasion of the Soviet Union, that German tanks will be moving eastward across Poland.

US rules of engagement in all its war theaters consistently and repeatedly violate international and constitutional law - soldiers allowed to murder civilians with impunity.
One of many notorious examples occurred in February 2010 in Afghanistan. US Army rangers belligerently entered Khataba village in Paktia province - slaughtering five defenseless civilians in cold blood, including two pregnant women threatening no one.
FOIA documents obtained by The Intercept revealed no disciplinary action following the raid. The Defense Department outrageously called force used “necessary, proportional and applied at (the) appropriate time” - while admitting “tactical mistakes” were made, war crimes by any standard.
Absolving crimes of war and against humanity committed by US forces is longstanding Pentagon practice. Falsified accounts whitewash deplorable incidents.

(NOTE: The following news report was offered on the morning of June 7th as an exclusive, to the following newsmedia, all of whom ignored it; and so it’s now being distributed free-of-charge to all newsmedia, but the following were the newsmedia that had already declined it as an exclusive news report: The Daily Beast, Slate, The Intercept, Huffington Post, Salon, Common Dreams, Truthout, ProPublica, Harper’s, Atlantic, Foreign Policy, National Journal, AP, Globe and Mail, National Post, Telegraph, Guardian, Financial Times, The Economist, Daily Mail, London Times, London Review of Books, New Statesman, The Spectator, Bloomberg, NYT, McClatchy, CBS, CNN, Politico, The Nation, The National Interest, The New Republic, Reason, Rolling Stone, Buzzfeed, Newsweek, Time, USN&WR, Consortium News Service.)
According to a news report in the June 7th German Economic News (Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten, or DWN), headlined “Merkel entmachtet BND: USA kontrollieren Spionage in Deutschland" or “Merkel Ousts BND: US to Control German Espionage,” a new law will soon be passed in the German parliament and be approved by Chancellor Angela Merkel, which will make Germany’s version of the CIA, the Bundesnachrichtendienstes (BND), nothing more than a branch of the CIA, to such an extreme degree, that even U.S. corporate espionage against German companies will become part of that ‘German’ operation. The independent capacities of the BND will become emasculated, no longer operational, under the new law.

Instead of declaring their independence, most European nations let Washington pressure, bully and bribe them to go along with its imperial agenda, harming their own national security.
Economic powerhouse Germany remains occupied since WW II ended, permitting numerous US bases on its territory, some jointly operated, harming its security, not protecting it.
Instead of normalizing relations with Russia, a reliable ally, Die Welt newspaper said a new Defense Ministry White Paper near completion lists it as one of Germany’s 10 major threats, despite no credible evidence suggesting it - plenty proving otherwise.
Other threats include international terrorism - without explaining it’s US created and Berlin supported. Terrorist groups can’t exist without state sponsors.
According to sources quoting what the report says, Russia is Germany’s key rival, using “hybrid instruments to blur the boundaries between war and peace…undermin(ing) other states.”
Moscow’s military strength (almost entirely on its own territory, solely for defense and fighting terrorism in Syria), technological capability, nonexistent “aggression,” reunification with Crimea, and ability to influence public opinion are contrived reasons for considering Moscow a key rival and threat, not a partner - despite Putin urging cooperative relations with all nations, the world’s preeminent peacemaker.

Russian and Chinese sovereign independence are the main obstacles to unchallenged US global dominance.
America’s provocative military buildup close to their borders risks a likely inevitable confrontation - how serious the fullness of time will tell.
The risk of possible nuclear war should give world leaders serious concern about allying with America’s potentially catastrophic imperial agenda.
China may declare an Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) in the South China Sea to counter increasing US military provocations. Foreign aircraft and vessels could be interdicted for entering without authorization.
America and Japan refused to recognize Beijing’s East China Sea ADIZ, declared in 2013. It includes waters and territory claimed by other countries.

In this hasbara film (Israel Is Fighting Your War), a Jewish giant attempts to save European civilisation.
Now Israel is embarrassed by this 3D animation and has put much effort into removing it from youtube. The producers of this film (http://www.hallelu.co.il/) no longer present the video on their site.
In the video, a powerful Jewish giant struggles to save Europe from Islamic invasion. Eventually the giant gives up and lets Europe be squashed.
The truth is slightly different. The entire mess in the Middle East that has led to an immigration tsunami and millions of displaced refugees is the direct outcome of Israeli warmongering, relentless prowar Jewish lobbying (AIPAC, CFI, CRIFF, etc) and Zionist driven neocon immoral interventionist wars. It is Israel and the Jewish lobby that are directly responsible for the havoc in the Middle East and beyond.

On Friday, June 3, boxing great Muhammad Ali died at age 74 in Phoenix after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Over time, it eroded his motor skills and ability to speak coherently. His wife Lonnie said even though his speech was impaired, “he sp(oke) to people with his eyes…with his heart, and they connect(ed) with him.”
Born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., he joined the Nation of Islam in 1964, rejected what he called his “slave name.” Muhammad Ali replaced it. In 1975, he converted to Sunni Islam after Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad died. He refused army induction during the Vietnam war, publicly calling himself a conscientious objector, famously saying “I ain’t got no quarrel with them Viet Cong. No Viet Cong ever called me nigger.”
At his scheduled Houston army induction on April 28, 1967, he refused three times to step forward after his name was called.
Warned he was committing a felony, he stood firm. Arrest followed. The New York State Athletic Commission stripped him of his boxing license and world heavyweight championship title.

Assad is overwhelmingly popular, democratically elected in June 2014, a process independent international observers called open, free and fair.
Syrians want no one else leading them for good reason. He gives them hope. Washington and its rogue allies want him ousted, Western-controlled tyranny replacing Syrian sovereignty - the same nightmarish scenario facing all nations America attacks aggressively, its imperial strategy for world conquest and domination.Half the Syrian population is internally or externally displaced, facing dire conditions. Washington and Britain turned truth on its head, accusing Assad of impeding humanitarian aid deliveries.

Introduction
During her 4 years as Secretary of State of the United States (2009-2014), Hillary Clinton controlled US foreign policy. She had access to the most confidential information and state documents, numbering in the tens of thousands, from all of the major government departments and agencies, Intelligence, FBI, the Pentagon, Treasury and the office of the President. She had unfettered access to vital and secret information affecting US policy in all the key regions of the empire.
Today, Mme. Clinton’s critics have focused on the technical aspects of her violations of State Department procedures and guidelines regarding handling of official correspondences and her outright lies on the use of her own private e-mail server for official state business, including the handling of highly classified material in violation of Federal Records laws, as well as her hiding official documents from the Freedom of Information Act and concocting her own system exempt from the official oversight which all other government officials accept.

On Thursday, touting her foreign policy record without explaining its lawlessness, Clinton delivered a 30-minute anti-Trump rant - a demagogic litany of misinformation and Big Lies, devoid of substance, more proof of the danger humanity faces if she succeeds Obama next year.
“I’m proud to run on my record,” she said. As first lady, US senator and secretary of state, she was and continues to be militantly pro-war.
In 1999, she urged husband Bill to bomb Belgrade, a flagrant violation of international and constitutional law.
She lied about Slobodan Milosevic, saying “(y)ou cannot let this go on at the end of a century that has seen the major holocaust of our time. What do we have NATO for if not to defend our way of life?”
