Russia No Longer Interested In Further Nuclear Arms Reduction with the U.S.

September 15th, 2015

LaRouchePac

Russia is no longer interested in pursuing further reductions in nuclear arms, announced Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said, during a press conference in Moscow, reported TASS yesterday. "I don't see grounds to raise in the practical sphere an issue of continuing dialogue with
U.S. on controlling nuclear weapons and reducing them in the future," Ryabkov said, while stressing that both sides are continuing to implement New START "flawlessly." He noted that the resolution of this issue depends not on who will become the next U.S. President, but rather on "U.S. admitting that the matter of nuclear disarmament cannot be considered separately from other factors affecting strategic stability," Ryabkov said. "The number of such factors does not decrease. On the contrary, it is only growing."

Over 100,000 Brits Want Netanyahu Arrested

September 15th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

On September 9, he’ll arrive in London to meet with Britain’s David Cameron. As of Saturday, September 5, over 100,000 Brits signed a petition to arrest him - likely many more by September 9.

Netanyahu was responsible for genocidal war crimes and mass destruction against Gaza last summer, noncombatant civilians suffering most, willfully targeted by Israel’s killing machine, on his direct orders, an unindicted mass-murderer.

Once past the 100,000 threshold, the petition will be considered for debate in Parliament. The Palestinian Forum and Palestine Solidarity Campaign urged supporters to participate in a mass public protest during Cameron/Netanyahu discussions next week.

A PSC statement says “Netanyahu bears direct responsibility for war crimes identified by the UN Human Rights Council following Israel’s brutal assault on Gaza last summer.”

Jeremy Corbyn Elected Britain’s New Labour Party Leader

September 15th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Longtime British Labour party MP since 1983, Corbyn was considered a 100 - 1 shot for its leadership after declaring his candidacy in June, on an anti-war, anti-austerity platform, saying:

“This decision to stand is in response to an overwhelming call by Labour party members who want to see a broader range of candidates and a thorough debate about the future of the party. I am standing to give Labour party members a voice in this debate.”He promised a “different economic strategy, particularly opposing austerity” - calling other Labour leadership candidates cardboard cutouts of each other - failing to offer “a clear enough alternative on the economic strategy and austerity, and our attitude to welfare expenditure.”

Nazis Riot Again in Kiev to Force Resuming War Poroshenko Lies About Ukrainian Public Opinion, in Order to Justify Resuming Invasion of Donbass

September 14th, 2015

Eric Zuesse

On Monday, August 31st, racist fascists (nazis) who hate Russians rioted in front of Ukraine’s parliament building to demand resumption of the unlimited bombing campaign against the breakaway former Ukrainian region, Donbass, which had voted 90%+ for the neutralist Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, whose government these nazis had helped the U.S. to overthrow in February 2014. A rabidly anti-Russian government was installed in its stead, and these demonstrators want this government to violate the Minsk II accords that Ukraine had signed, and to return to full-scale war.

According to the report from Russian Television, “At least 10 special forces troops have been injured as a grenade exploded during clashes in front of the parliament in the Ukrainian capital.”

Israel Protecting Killers of Immolated Palestinians

September 14th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

On July 31, unidentified Israeli settlers set the Dawabsha family home ablaze - killing husband and wife Saad and Riham as well as their 18-month-old infant Ali.

Four-year-old Ahmed alone survived so far - whether able to recover from severe third-degree burns remains to be seen. At best, he faces months of pain and suffering along with excruciating treatment and rehabilitation, likely remaining traumatized longterm from his ordeal. At worst, he may perish like his parents and brother. On September, 10, Haaretz headlined “Israeli Authorities Know Who Burned Palestinian Family Alive, Defense Minister Says.”

Labeling Israeli Settlement Products Not Good EnoughV

September 14th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Last spring, 16 European foreign ministers urged EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini to require labeling of all Israeli settlement products - so consumers can buy or avoid them at their discretion.

Labeling is “an important step in the full implementation of EU longstanding policy,” they said. At best, it’s symbolic. At worst, a weak-kneed gesture with no meaningful effect on Israel’s economy.

By year-end or sooner, the EU is expected to decide up or down on labeling. Mogherini said “(t)he work is close to being finished but it is still ongoing.” If implemented, it’ll only be a guideline, not mandated policy. Individual EU states can do what they please - showing what’s being considered is a sham, an insult to long-suffering Palestinians. Some EU nations already intend to require labeling - regardless of what the European Commission decides. “We have to make sure that consumers can distinguish products that come from the territories occupied by Israel,” Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said.

E = mc2 A FORMULA FOR WORLD PEACE

September 14th, 2015

Allen L Roland, PhD

Einstein's famous equation E=mc2 means the Energy within matter equals its mass multiplied by the speed of light squared ~ but Einstein was just scratching the surface of our limited consciousness for we immediately used this equation to create nuclear bombs and the means to completely destroy humankind. But now let us apply this same equation to a formula which will release the energy of a universal love, deepest within ourselves, which will lead us instead to our ultimate fulfillment and destiny as human beings as well as become a working formula for world peace: Allen L Roland, PhD

"This year (2015) marks the 70th anniversaries of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The survivors of those bombings, the hibakusha, have been outspoken in their calls to abolish nuclear weapons so that their past does not become someone else’s future. Every year, every day, that this advice is not heeded, increases the danger to the human future. This is a legal issue but it is also a moral issue, a security issue and, ultimately, a spiritual issue. Humankind must step back from the nuclear abyss now, before it is too late" : Richard Falk, an international relations scholar, professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University, author, co-author or editor of 40 books, and a speaker and activist on world affairs.

Israel’s Failed Anti-Iranian Nuclear Deal Campaign

September 14th, 2015

Stephen Lendman

A detailed Wall Street Journal report explained how Netanyahu’s congressional campaign proved counterproductive. It failed to achieve enough support to derail the Iran nuclear deal.

It alienated some congressional members for challenging Obama irresponsibly. In early August, Netanyahu met with 22 US Democrat lawmakers, said the Journal.

For two hours, he “worked the room,” using props and answering questions posed, said the Journal. “(H)is feelings were clear.”

He lied claiming the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) “would seriously jeopardize Israel’s security.”

US/Media Misinformation on Russian/Syrian Relations

September 14th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Obama began premeditated aggressive proxy war on Syria in March 2011 - using imported Islamic State and other takfiri terrorists to do his dirty work.

There’s nothing civil about ongoing conflict - claims otherwise one of the many Big Lies repeated ad nauseam, proliferated by Western officials and media scoundrels, regurgitating state propaganda, their main role, not honest reporting.

Russia maintains normal diplomatic relations. It supplies contractually arranged arms as well as other products and services. It has every legal and moral right to support a longstanding ally.

Hillary at Brookings

September 13th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Clinton is one of many hardcore/hawkish neocons infesting America - a recklessly dangerous presidential aspirant deploring peace and stability, addicted to endless wars, mass slaughter and destruction.

On September 9, she delivered a foreign policy address at Washington’s Brookings Institution - a notorious corporate financed pro-war think tank, supporting wealth, power and privilege, an establishment organization representing America’s dark side.

It supported ravaging and destroying Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, backs Obama’s wars on Syria and Yemen, endorsed his Ukraine coup replacing democrats with fascist thugs, and urges “resisting (nonexistent) Russian aggression.”
