Forest fires rage in Ukraine dangerously close to Chernobyl. Ukrainian interior minister Arsen Avakov said conditions "worsened."
"The forest fire is heading in the direction of Chernobyl's installations," he said. Treetop flames and strong gusts of wind have created a real danger of the fire spreading to an area within 20 kilometers of the power plant."
"There are about (1,000 acres) of forests in the endangered area," he claimed. "National Guard and interior ministry forces have been put on combat alert."
The April 26, 1986 Chernobyl incident was the worst nuclear power plant disaster up to that time - exceeded only by Japan's Fukushima (March 11, 2011).

SOTN Editor’s Note:
The following open letter written by a PhD Immunologist completely demolishes the current California legislative initiative to remove all vaccine exemptions. That such a draconian and cynical state statute is under consideration in the ‘Golden State’ is as shocking as it is predictable. After all, the legislation was mysteriously written and submitted shortly after the manufactured-in-Disneyland measles ‘outbreak’.
The indisputable science that is employed by Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD ought to be read by every California legislator who is entertaining an affirmative vote for SB277. Dr. Obukhanych skillfully deconstructs the many false and fabricated arguments that are advanced by Big Pharma and the U.S Federal Government as they attempt to implement a nationwide Super-Vaccination agenda.
When the California Senate refuses to consider authoritative scientific evidence which categorically proves the dangerous vaccine side effects on the schoolchildren, something is very wrong. Such conduct by the Senate constitutes a criminal conspiracy (as in a real conspiracy to inflict harm) which endangers the lives and welfare of children. Their official behavior must therefore be acknowledged for what it is — CRIMINAL — and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

No nation in world history ever threatened humanity's survival more than America.
None operates more recklessly. Lunatics in charge wage endless wars of aggression against nonbelligerent countries.
Peace and stability are verboten. Direct and proxy wars rage. More are planned.
In six years in office, Obama waged preemptive wars of aggression against seven nations. He has lots more death and destruction in mind.
Yemen is his latest atrocity. Ukraine heads toward resumed full-scale war at his discretion.
He challenges Russia provocatively and recklessly - risking direct confrontation.

Yemen is being raped in plain sight. Obama bears full responsibility.
It's his planned and orchestrated war - using Saudi and other regional proxies to wage premeditated aggression against a country threatening no one.
He turned another part of the Arab world into a greater cauldron of violence, chaos and instability than already - with no end of conflict in sight.
Civilian men, women and children suffer most. They're being willfully murdered in cold blood. Media scoundrels either largely ignore or misreport on what's ongoing.
Endless US imperial aggression continues. "(T)he job is not done," said White House communications director Jen Psaki.
Endless war continues. On Monday, Saudis terror-bombed a Taiz girl's school.
Shortly after Spiegel Online published German Intelligence Under Fire for NSA Cooperation (Apr 24), I added what I thought would be the first comment on the article. I returned to the next day to see how the comment had fared. To my surprise, the caption “Be the first to comment on this article” remained in place. My comment was rejected (and remains so). Just maybe, I thought, the comment title, also the headline of this article, and my questions about German sovereignty were deemed unacceptable for Spiegel’s reading public.
The April 24 Spiegel Online article added yet another chapter to the privacy violations by the United States National Security Agency (NSA). Along with its German equivalent, the BND, NSA engaged in electronic spying on the German government, German politicians, and commercial concerns in Germany and other European countries. This violated an agreement for shared electronic monitoring, which stipulated that there would be no spying on German or U.S. targets.

It ebbs, flows but never entirely ceases. Russia remains US public enemy number one - to serve its imperial interests threatening world peace.
Bogus accusations persist - reckless and irresponsible. The New York Times is America's lead corporate instrument of state propaganda.
On April 22, it headlined "Putin Bolsters His Forces Near Ukraine, US Says."
Throughout Obama's proxy war on Donbass, Putin was repeatedly accused of nonexistent Russian aggression.
Big Lies never stop. According to The Times citing US sources, "Russia has continued to deploy air defense systems in eastern Ukraine and has built up its forces near the border…"
"Western officials are not sure if the military moves are preparations for a new Russian-backed offensive that would be intended to help the separatists seize additional territory."
"(T)he new military activity is a major concern because it has significantly reduced the amount of warning that Ukraine and its Western supporters would have if Russian forces and separatists mounted a joint offensive."
"And some of Russia’s actions, American officials say, are flagrant violations of the cease-fire agreement that European nations negotiated with Russia and Ukraine in February."

Conservative economists favor Republican candidates because it’s the way for them to rise in power themselves, but what about ‘progressive’ economists: are they psychopaths, too; or do they instead blindly favor ‘Democratic’ candidates because of a sincerely oblivious belief that the mere ‘Democratic’ Party-label indicates that the given politician is actually progressive?

On Wednesday, Iran's Foreign Ministry blasted Riyadh's "vindictive and inhumane" terror-bombing of Sanaa International Airport's runway - to block Iranian humanitarian aid from arriving.
Orders to do so came from Washington. A previous article said Obama wants Yemenis starved to death or dying from unavailable medical treatment for serious terror-bombing inflicted wounds.
A Saudi spokesman called Sanaa's runway inoperable. Brig. General Ahmed Asseri said Tehran's cargo plane didn't coordinate with Riyadh and ignored warnings to turn back.

There are no declared wars and no known initiatives to conflict management but the Arab Middle East is the theatre of absurdity – petty ideological rivalries, bloody authoritarianism enforcing daily sectarian warfare and unending brutality for the innocent people trying to escape the prevalent insanity. No carefully reasoned and politically verifiable analysis can predict how and where the entire Arab-Muslim region will escape from the amassed misfortunes. The emerging humanitarian expulsion of people has articulated a tangible challenge to few of the EU members. The Arab Middle East is a galvanized region, too dangerous to be ignored for the ultimate global consequences. Rationality begs to ask what are the Arabs-Muslim leaders fighting for and why?

With the usual fanfare and self-congratulating rhetoric, Israel last week celebrated the passage of 67 years since it was established in Palestine, with active support from colonialist western powers.
A passive observer watching the yearly rituals would probably get the impression that not only Palestine and its native people had never existed but that the very creation of the entire world coincided with the establishment of Israel.
The attempted obliteration of the Palestinian identity and narrative has long come to identify the collective Israeli ethos. Even simple names, which might remind new generations of days forgotten, or a history antithetical to the Zionist narrative, had to be obliterated and replaced with new names.
