Israel's Fascist Government

March 15th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

On January 22, Israelis voted. Results hardened fascist rule. Dominant right-wing parties control 102 of 120 Knesset seats.

Israelis have themselves to blame. They elected their most extremist government in history. Belligerence, state-sponsored terrorism, militarized occupation, racist persecution, settlement expansions, and neoliberal harshness reflect official policy.

No party won a majority. Weeks of negotiations followed. Expect coalition partners to be announced shortly.

Netanyahu remains Prime Minister. He'll serve as Foreign Minister. He'll do so pending the outcome of Avigdor Lieberman's trial. He's charged with fraud and breach of trust. Ze'ev Elkin appears set to become Deputy Foreign Minister.

Why Student Debt Is An Important Reason Behind the falling US birthrate

March 15th, 2013

Angelina Jennifer

The low birthrate record in the United States is presenting no signs of bouncing back, regardless of the cutback that is on the mend. Substantiation is on the rise and therefore massive student debt may be daunting people from early families.

In US it is often found that couples of 29-30 years are finding it difficult to initiate with the family planning thoughts. This is because the male member of the family is finding it a challenge to get hold of a good employment in the post-recession economy and the female member of the family is struggling hard with her student debt which is approximately $164,000, with a monthly re-imbursement of $818. So, this is forcing the couple to think hard on the additional expenditure that comes with having a baby. In such a kind of scenario, kids simply do not fit.

Obama Killed Chavez

March 14th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

Most likely he was either poisoned or infected with cancer causing substances. Four cancer surgeries in 18 months raise suspicions.

Chavez knew he was marked for death. He said so numerous times. Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez believes Washington and Israel conspired to kill him.

He called it similar to how Israel murdered Yasser Arafat. Radioactive polonium poisoning killed him. Forensic evidence proved it.

On March 12, acting President Nicolas Marudo said a state commission will investigate his death. "(I)mportant scientists from different countries" will be involved.

Maduro believes forensic evidence will show Chavez was "injected by imperialist forces."

He "was poisoned by dark forces in order to hit at the Venezuelan people and Latin America," he stressed.

America's So-Called Liberal Alternative Media - Some Are MSM Mini-Me's

Anyone who started using the Internet in the era of Windows 3.1 or Mac System 7.1.2 (or using Unix) knows that the Mainstream Media Oligarchs Duopolists crooks are indoctrinating (McDonaldizing) the Internet; or in the words of disney.com, making the Internet the post-journalism "happiest place on Earth"... If there were truth in advertising, make-believe Disney would actually be the concoctedly happiest place on Earth. In the past 8-9 months, websearches on Google, Bing, Yahoo and AolSearch are returning increasingly Censored Results...

The five forged news and fictitious media giants with their 'progressive' Scott Pelley's, 'avante garde' Rachel Maddow's, 'radical' Anderson Cooper's, 'high-minded' Barbara Walters, etc. have yet to ask the simple question, how did the police find Christopher James Dorner's ** fireproof ** wallet, * thrice *?

Penny Pritzker: Obama's Likely Commerce Secretary Choice

March 13th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

She's one of America's most powerful women. For sure she's one of the richest. Forbes estimates she's worth $1.85 billion.

She's also heir to the Hyatt Hotels and Pritzker family fortune. It's net worth exceeds $20 billion. Some think it's much more.

No one knows for sure. It's stashed in tax havens. Only little people pay what they owe. Billionaires use money to make more of it. They steal plenty along the way.

Balzac said behind every great fortune lies a great crime. Tax Justice Network estimates up to $32 trillion in hidden and stolen wealth stashed in tax havens. Maybe it's much more. No one knows for sure.
